Have always felt I was dealt with honestly. Never felt over charged. Always addressed issues promptly. In fact often times am told.. YOU DONT NEED THAT. Even when the dealer said I did. Had brakes done recently. Dealer said I needed new front end brakes. QUALITY CAR CARE did front and rear for just a tad bit more than dealer wanted to charge for the front. I've owned 2 BMW 2002s, a 325e, a 525i, a 540i, a 325i station wagon, a 328is and a 330i. They were all purchased as used cars, and most of them were bought thru Quality Car, as their owners moved into new vehicles. It was helpful to know they had been maintained by the shop, and the shop could speak to the condition of the vehicles. My current vehicles date from 1998 and 2001, and they have been kept running smoothly since I bought them; I'd never trust a dealership to maintain these vintage vehicles. All of these cars have been serviced thru Quality Car Services, and it has been my exclusive choice for repair since 1981. The shop changed hands many years ago when the founders retired, and has always served me well. Bob has always been up front with what the cars needed, and when, and has been available for emergency repairs. Bob and his mechanics are honest, personable and knowledgeable, and the shop has taken care of my cars for the last 44 years. I had a great experience with Quality Car Services. After hitting a curb, my vehicle needed some serious suspension work, including two control arms, an outer tie rod, and a lower ball joint. They got everything fixed and had me back on the road promptly! A couple days went by and I haven't had any issues regarding the work done. In fact, I returned for some preventative maintenance. ( Alternator & Serpentine Belt replacement) The service was professional, and reasonably priced. I really appreciated their honesty and efficiency. Tiny little shop where you can wait months for work to be done inexpertly on your BMW. I cannot think of enough bad things to say about them. The owner is deceitful and deceptive and genuinely incapable of making reasonable repairs to a BMW. He wants to be graded on his personality and not his actual performance. Whatever you do do NOT get your body work done here, it is done by a young man who is called in just for this and who is not an employee of the garage. I was a customer from 2011 to 2024 so I have plenty of experience with them. I will never let them anywhere near my car again. read more

Can't say enough good things about Bob and his crew. Noon on a HOT July day my van quit at an intersection. Got it on a tow truck and after two other shops wouldn't even look at my van the same day. Bob was honest and said they would look at it, but didn't promise anything beyond that. He saw that we were uncomfortable from the heat and offered bottles of COLD water and a fan to help us cool down. Diagnosed the problem within the hour, quoted a fair price for the repair, and had it done the next day. As a bonus, they fixed a broken running board with NO CHARGE. Wish I didn't live 2 hours away, otherwise Bob would be my go to shop for all my auto needs. read more

Completely honest guys that won't try to talk you into repairs you don't need. The dealership gave me a rundown of all repairs and maintenance my car "needed" that totaled almost three grand so I looked for a second opinion. Techs here talked me through what needed to be done now to make the car safe and functional, and what could wait. Total price for everything would have been almost half of what the dealership wanted, and I'll definitely be going back for all the 'could wait' repairs in a few months. read more

Wow is Bob an amazing human being. But first, the car. Took the X5 here after some fiascos at other shops. I arrived a little bit before they opened (8am) and they worked on my car first thing in the morning. They changed the brake fluid in under an hour for $144. Super prompt and simple. Then they looked into some steering problems I've been experiencing and reassured me that it was mostly warping in the tires; nothing major to worry about. They were super knowledgeable and great at explaining my options to me. But Bob, wow! When I went in to pick up the car, we started chatting about my recent travels around the world and how much his family loves traveling. He just had so many great stories that 30-45 min passed and I still want to hear him tell more haha. He treated me like a family friend he's known for years and years. Made my week =) read more

Writing this review is disappointing but it has to be done because during these uncertain times situations like these should be known to the public . Bob fixed my car in January and We had no issues and he was very professional and considerate and I actually gave him five stars on the previous review but I had to go back and change it based on new evidence and things that happened in July and August of 2020. One of my windows would not go up and the battery needed to be replaced but after these alterations I was informed the car was ready for a road trip in January 2020. The second time I brought my car in to Bob to evaluate was because the car cut off in the middle of the road while driving less than two weeks after it was first fixed in January and I paid 650 dollars and was told that was to fix the window that woudnt go up and to replace the battery as well as remove the leaves from the sunroof that was left jarred open causing a small leak.I am in the military so my vehicle had to be towed to my apartment while I was in training and when I returned I brought the vehicle in months later. When the vehicle was towed to Bob's shop all the windows were operational and rolled up and Down. I could not see any visual major water damage inside the vehicle And remember back in January they assured me everything was fine with the car so while I only viewed some light water which is indicative of a small leak that was suppose to be fixed back in January from the windows or sunroof but Mistakes can happen. I saw no major issues inside to show water damage inside of the vehicle but I'm not a mechanic. My issue with Bob and this business is that when I brought the car into the shop the second time it was not returned to me in the same condition I gave it to him and now it's a mess. Bob informed me he fixed the fuse for my car because it was raining in the vehicle and it was a possible shortage because of a possible leak but he could not get the windows back up and I now needed to pay him 1250 dollars to get two windows back up. When I refused to pay this amount and informed him I would only pay 450 For the fuse replacement and he was responsible for getting the windows at least back up and in order in which I gave him the vehicle he seemed annoyed with me but he basically returned my car with a stripped and broken window that now falls down. Bob informed me that he tried all he could do to get both up but it was obvious when he couldn't get the extra 1200 He just rigged something together. People love to say thanks for your service to the country but behind the scenes that are taking advantage of men and women that are essential workers and trying to survive. I am now stuck with a window that continues to fall down it's been raining the last few days and now half my windows are not even working and it's raining today August 6, 2020. Bob and I had great conversations they were peaceful and productive but at the end of the day while I appreciate his consideration and assistance this was very tacky and bad business. My car was thrown back together pieces left under the seat and this was very shady and unprofessional. I am now on the hook and have to pay more more for a stripped and broken window!!!! Before moving to a new duty station. The window is down and it's raining which places me at risk for a another shortage and theft. My window now is in worse condition and is permanently down and it's not even operational and it won't go up. The 450 to fix the fuse was basically like throwing money into the garbage because its raining . The sad thing is I know this Business is successful and while times are challenging Bob and his business didn't have to operate like this very unprofessional! I didn't think the product he returned to me would be this bad the whole window is almost falling out the frame on the driver side not mention the sticky substance on the window and now another mechanic is tasked with trying to help me get the window up cause of the rain. read more

I started using Quality Car Services after the BMW warranty expired on my X3. Bob Croker and his mechanics have maintained my car in perfect condition. They do all the necessary maintenance work to keep the X3 running smoothly. What I like most is how trustworthy they are. If I think I might have a problem with the car, I call for an appointment, run the car over to the shop, and they diagnose the situation. If repairs are not necessary, I go on my way with a car that has had its window washer fluids refilled, oil levels and tires checked, and any other minor maintenance work done without charge. They have strong relationships with loyal customers and know we will be back for those routine visits that all of our cars require. Because they have worked on so many BMWs. I own two BMWs - a 1998 740iL and a 2001 330i. Quality Car Services (QCS) has been servicing my cars for the past five years. The QCS mechanics have always repaired my cars quickly and carefully. I have never had problems with the cars after the mechanics serviced them. On one hand, the mechanics have found problems that I was unaware of; however, on the other hand, the mechanics have never overcharged me by repairing problems that didn't exist. The same mechanic almost always works on my two cars; consequently, I have received consistent, knowledgeable service. The mechanics apparently have skills that extend beyond servicing engines and other operating equipment. For example, on one occasion, the mechanics did a great job of replacing sagging, old fabric around one of my car's windshield. In my experience, QCS offers two benefits that BMW dealerships do not: (1) The prices are lower. (2) As a small business, QCS provides personalized care. As result, the owner (Bob) gets to know his customers. For instance, Bob strongly encouraged me to attend the local BMW car club's high performance driving education course. Without his encouragement, I might not have taken the course. I enjoyed taking the course. read more

Most recently I needed to make a 27-hour drive to Santa Fe, NM in my aging BMW (1999 5-Series), and of course I took my car to Bob and his team for a check-up.
