If I could give them negative 5 stars I would. I am in Menopause, so that's bad enough. They lied and told me that the FDA stopped allowing me to get the mixture of Estrogen that my DR has been giving me for 4 years. They said I needed to get the Dr to change it. They said that Estoril was on the banned list. My Dr changed to just Estradiol. Well it wasn't working for me at all. My Dr asked me to get the mixture they had been giving me so he can come up with something else and do the research. Drugco fought me on giving me the mixture, mind you it is not a proprietary blend. The only reason My Dr couldn't' look it up is they were part of the Palomar Hack and couldn't get into old records. I explained this and they kept saying NO. I finally said don't make me be one of those that go viral. I have a right to know what you were making and I was putting into my body, regardless of my Dr. asking. Finally they called the owner. Then another guy came up and wrote down the mix. Turns out he wrote down something that wasn't true. I switched to another pharmacy, and guess what Estoril is NOT banned. That pharmacy even sent me the FDA Banned list and Tuesday of next week I will have WHAT WAS WORKING for me. From the new Pharmacy: The percentage of the Biest 2.5mg Drugco told you was wrong. You can't mix it the way they told you. You have two choices. I called the Dr. as their computers are back up and It's 80% Estriol-2mg and 20% Estradiol-0.5mg. I will have them ready on Tuesday for you. They put my health at risk, for what? Not enough profit. You lied to me about it being banned and then lied about the %'s Heck my benefits don't even pay for this. I pay out of pocket and it is not cheap. I will yell at the top of my lungs at how wrong this was to do to someone. Those that suffer from Menopause can understand. BAD BUSINESS. They own other shops so i recommend you don't do business with ANY OF THEM. AKA Good Neighbor Pharmacy®. Shame on you for putting my health in danger. read more

I was down to my last pill and this pharmacy didn't have my medication in stock. They only had 20 pills and said they would give me a partial refill. So far so good. They give me the 20 pills and try to charge me for 60 pills. This place is crooked and run by thieves. read more

This is one of the few compounding pharmacies in the area. I called them about 3 weeks ago, looking for a solution to some med issues. Manny, reassured me right away that there was a solution. He then gave me three options. I was so happy and comfortable in his knowledge. The solution worked!! Manny then went above and beyond to try to help me get insurance to cover the medication. He pointed me in the right direction for pre-approvals as well as reimbursement. A week or so later, I was looking for a relatively standard product, however everyone was sold out. I called Manny. He had what I needed and placed it at the front for pick up. I am sure there are other staff members who are fantastic, but Manny is my go-to now. Stop in or call, you'll get great service and all of your meds the way that you can take them. read more

After ordering a compounded prescription from over the last year and a half, when I tried to contact them by phone yesterday morning they never answered the phone after several tries. So I drove over taking the old compound bottle along. It said there were no refills, so they had to call my doctor for an authorization. Then I mentioned that I had called several times and no one answered. They just shrugged their shoulder. The next morning I tried to call again several times no one picked up. Finally some one answered and said they did not have to call the doctor they had an authorization on file. So I said I would be by after 2:00 pm this afternoon to pick it up! Then they said it is our policy to pay up front before they began to mix it. I then said that I never have paid up front in the last year and 1/2. Well that is our policy! I then gave them my debit card number over the phone! I think I will find another compounding Pharmacy!!!! read more

I'm so pleased with Drug Co.!! The beginning of a New Year and the Insurance Company nightmare's began for Me. The Pharmacist & their Pharmacy Technicians have been so patient with Me. Very understanding & reassuring to get My medications filled. Hour's of phone calls for Me and Them!! They know a lot & always get to the bottom of the problem's the Ins. Co. dishes out. If I used a "Big Pharmacy" such as CVS, WALGREENS, LONG'S You know them as I do, would NEVER take their time to see that You get Your Med's. My sincere Thank's to the staff here!! This is the best option in Escondido if you need a compounded prescription. They are pretty fast. That being said, check that you got what you ordered: I had one experience when they didn't put my medication in the correct type of base ingredient. I've been in severe pain for 17 yrs from falling 400 ft. I have tried everything, the first being narcotics. They make sick and a crazy B word lol I was then prescribed, some yrs ago, Lidoderm patches and they worked pretty good, but were very expensive. One day my insurance decided that I no longer needed them, even though I have many levels of injury in my spine. So I went without any pain relief for the last 2 years. Recently ,I was waiting for my nail lady and I took a walk looking around at the other shops. Drugco, a compounding pharmacy, was next door, so I stopped in to look around. I got to talking with Manny, a pharmacy tech and he told me that lidocaine came in an ointment and was covered by my insurance!!!!!!!!! Wow!!! Why didnt any other pharmacy think to tell me this??? (because ppl only seem to care about themselves these days) I have finally found some relief for my neck and lower back!!! Thank you Manny!!! Without you, I would still be miserable. I am so thankful for you and your help, I am now a customer of yours for LIFE! And I will tell all my family and friends about your pharmacy. This is the WORST pharmacy that I have ever been to. I have been going to them for almost 2 years because at first, they were very helpful with a very expensive medication. After going for many months, with them helping me out with the price on my medication, things took a turn for the worst. They regularly would let me buy part of my medication and come back to get the remaining when I had the rest of the money. However, after some time, they started telling me if I did not purchase at least 30 at a time, they would charge me $5 per pill (when usually when I bought them, it was around $2 a pill). This would more than double the price. Obviously, if I was unable to pay for the full amount at around $2 a pill, how would I ever afford $5 a pill. Since this was the cheapest pharmacy I could find for this particular medication, I put up with this and would always buy at least 30 at a time. That went well for a while, until things got even worse. So, one day I come in to buy 30 pills and the owner tells me, that unless I buy the full quantity, it will be $5 a pill. I argued with her and said that she has ALWAYS let me buy 30 at a time and I still got the discount. I gave in, AGAIN, and started purchasing the full quantity of my medication to ensure I was getting the discounted price. Every month, I would go in and the price would increase from $169 to $175, all the way up to $220. They would tell me that their cost went up. I understand that cost goes up, but not every single month. These people are like legalized drug dealers...increasing the price per pill and then increasing it every month for the full amount. It is a complete JOKE!!.. The straw that broke the camel's back is when one time I went in to fill my prescription, and they did not have enough medication to fill it. So they said they would mail me the remaining amount (they had to do this from time to time and usually would mess it up by either sending me the wrong amount, or forgetting to send it at all). After they said they would mail it, I kind of forgot about it because it was not very many that they owed to me. About 3 weeks later, I called and said I needed to refill my prescription and that I would be by to pick it up the next day. They said ok, we will have it ready. I went to pick it up the next day and they started giving me a hard time that I was filling it a few days early and I explained I was going out of town and if they looked in their records, they would see that over the past almost 2 years, a lot of times I would refill it around 3 weeks and this was NEVER a problem, especially because I did not have insurance. For some reason, this time it was a HUGE issue. I told them to look in their records but for some reason they were unable to. What kind of pharmacy is unable to look back at a person's refill history when they have been going there every single month for almost 2 years?? They finally called my doctor, who said to refill it early. I was running late to catch a flight and very angry that this was such a major hassle that I did not even think to tell them that I still had not received the medication they were supposed to mail. Who can blame me? Every time I went into this place they were either charging me more, changing what they had previously said or done, and always coming up with something new that would cost me more money. After I get back, I realized I still had not received the medication they were supposed to mail me, so I call them and talk to the owner. She proceeds to tell me that they have NO RECORD of them giving me only part of my medication. She then says they have certain things they must do when they give someone a partial medication. I tell her someone messed up because they owed me the rest of my medication and she needed to figure out who dropped the ball. I thought maybe they mailed it to my old address since I moved a couple months before this, but for her to tell me there is no record of me only picking up part of my medication, just made me realize what a terrible pharmacy this is. I mean, how can you have no record of you owing me medication. Later, I get a phone call from one of the people who work at the pharmacy and she says they reviewed the tape of me coming in and see that they did owe me medication. I felt relieved that they finally realized they MESSED UP in a BIG WAY. The woman tells me they mailed the medication and it shows it was delivered. I ask what address they mailed it to and of course, they sent it to my old address. She says she will have the owner call me back. A week goes by, no call from the owner so I call back and the owner does not even have the courtesy to talk to me herself. One of the employees says that they will not give me what they owe me because they mailed it and they don't care it was an old address. They are scheming, conniving, greedy, selfish people and I will tell everyone because the things they do are very WRONG!! read more

I would give more stars if possible! The pharmacist is VERY helpful and although extremely busy, she seems to have endless patience. I was in the middle of my 6 month compounding prescription reducing my medication by 5 mg every 2 weeks, when I had to change my insurance. The thing I like about this place is that they always answer the phone when i call and they check to make sure that they have an item in stock that i am interested in buying (not once did they tell me they didn't have an item in stock).
