They kept the car for over four weeks and could not diagnose three out of three problems I was having. I finally picked it up, and my neighbor referred me to René at action imports. I made an appointment with Rene and dropped off the car on a Monday morning at 8:30 AM... Within two hours he had called me and diagnosed all three problems with an exact estimate. I was traveling on Business and he agreed to keep the car for the entire five days until I returned. I picked up the car and everything was fixed. I was very happy. It's a 24-year-old BMW so of course, it always needs a wrench, turned or two :-) I dropped it off again this morning with René and I've already had the exact same experience. Why the elusive 5 stars? Let me paint you a picture…read more Had a funky rattle from my Tacoma. Figured that heading directly to the dealership would be the best move from a diagnostic point of view because hey, they made the thing. Wrong. After two hours 'they' said my cat converter was shot (and the source of the rattle), debris in the muffler was a casual contributing factor and for a cool $1500 they'd swap in a certified Toyota cat. No thanks. Gave Debbie an e-mail and was quoted $260 out the door for a new cat. That's more like it. But wait, the funky rattle didn't stop even after swapping out the converter. I brought it to Debbie's attention who promptly had me come back in to have another look. One of their mechanics (Don) spent 15 seconds under the truck so I could reproduce the rattle, said 'That's your muffler', and said they had another aftermarket muffler in stock ready to go. I OK'd the recommendation, had a seat and after being impressed with the amount of sparks coming from the undercarriage of my 235k mile truck and 30 minutes later, was back in the driver seat with a freshly installed Flowmaster muffler. I'm still not sure why, but the cost of the muffler swap was zero. Parting words were 'We appreciate you and just keep bringing us your business' but they have known that for two years now that they are my go to. Beyond thankful and beyond impressed. Thank you Debbie, Keith and Don for keeping me and countless other motorists rolling.

I just toke my car to this car care center to have my bakes checked. There was a grinding news…read morecoming from the back. I went fearing having to replace new pads and new rotors possibly on all four tires. However, after an inspection of all four pads and rotors, I was told all pads 90% and rotors had a little dust, but everything was good. Charged a low fee of $25 for an hour of work. Not being from this area, and down just for the winter, I was so impressed with their honesty and service.
