Location is somewhat of a challenge to find but with a little driving around, we found it. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist at the front desk. Melissa took us straight back for Moms appointment. Melissa checked the hearing aid batteries and cleaned them for us. While we were there, she asked if I would like to have a hearing test. I decided to go ahead and do it. The test is conducted by placing you in a square cube. They insert two plugs into each ear which delivers the sounds to the ears. We started with the right ear then moved to the left. The test was completed in just a few minutes. Melissa told me I am still hearing well which made me happy. I have been to so many rock concerts in my life with no earplugs so I know my time is coming for hearing aids, just not today. I would recommend if you live in the area and are seeking professional hearing testing or purchasing hearing aids. They have some of the best ones on the market. Everyone here is very kind and professional and Mom enjoys coming here every three months for check ups.

Guess they don't want my business, so I'm taking it elsewhere. Longer version: Found this place through my insurance coverage, was able to schedule a hearing test within two weeks, went in and got it done without any issues. The tech was polite and professional but their insurance person was gone for the day, so I was told they'd contact me after the weekend. I waited a full week, then called and left a message. I called again the next week, and spoke to someone who was not friendly and did not seem at all concerned about the situation, who said the portal to look up my insurance was down and someone would call me the next day. Four days later, I went in and asked for a copy of my test results to take them somewhere that actually wants to sell me hearing aids to address the issue I came in for! When I went to get my copy, all the staff in the front office were shooting one another looks while I was waiting for my printout, which was awkward. I have still have never received any contact whatsoever to follow up after doing my hearing test.

We asked for my mom's previous hearing test to give to a new provider. Marnie said she can't give it to us and my mom needs a new test at a new provider. I called a new provider and they said by law we have the right to my mom's records and test results. I called Marnie and asked for test results emailed to me. I said my email slowly & clearly explaining every letter and Marnie didn't even repeat back to confirm because she wanted to avoid working precisely and doesn't care for mistakes. Marnie said I'll have it in a few minutes. I called back and left a few voicemails over the next hour and a half which as I expected, she ignored. I called from a different phone number and turns out she answered in a minute and then repeated the email and she added a digit that I did not say so she said my mom's record to a different wrong email. This is unacceptable and people's records should be handled cautiously and I said that. She didn't say sorry or care, just tried to immediately hang up. That's the service you'll get if you have to deal with Marnie. I hope they record calls so they can see how she treats people. Only half nice when she wants to say she can't do something like sending results that she by law has to instead of taking 2 minutes to send a test result. Find a different place.

Thus when I tried wearing other brands of hearing aids I broke out in welts. The other reason I love my lyrics is that when people see you wearing hearing aids they tend to talk slowly or loudly. Plus have to have that yucky goop injected into your ear to make the mold for the other hearing aids is unpleasant feeling too. Then you always have the battery issues. With l Lyrics you don't. They are inserted by an audiologist and you wear them 24/7 when they stop working your audiologist replaces them with a new set and you are once again able to go on about your day. Dr. England and his staff treated my like I had purchased these from his business....offering to help attune them to my ears, etc. When one of them developed a cutting-out/short problem, Dr. England sent them back four times and finally got them to completely re-do the inside of the hearing aid itself at no cost to me. He and Harley, his staff at the Cheyenne Ave office went above and beyond to get this problem corrected. I have insisted on making two small payment just to help offset their time - really, had to insist. They have treated me as if I had purchased the new set from them....as if they had any responsibility to get these running perfectly. I cannot recommend this company, this office or Dr. England and his staff enough. They are professional and honestly care about their clients.
