This hotel is fine. It worked great for us. And the price is right. Easy in and out. Shitty breakfast like all the other places. No carpeting. Which was perfect for our muddy shoes and slushy gear. Plumbing, lighting, it all worked. If we are getting nitpicky I would say the bed was a bit lumpy and the sloped parking garage atop the hill can be a pain. But I mean, are you really going to spend a bunch of money on a hotel room when you are never going to be in it? Hullo. The falls are outside, folks. I don't recommend trying to stay at a luxury resort on your trip to Niagara. You won't find one worthy of the label (Sorry so harsh but it's true). You are going to get dirty and muddy from the mist of the falls and the amusement rides, don't go for carpeting. read more

We booked two double queen rooms for 3 nights in Sept. Rooms wasn't ready at check in and we waited for over and hour. There was no sorry nor complimentary anything for the delay. The front desk never welcomed us nor thanked us for being Choice members. Housekeeping are lazy and does the bare minimum for what they call cleaning. Rooms are not cleaned daily. Our bathroom smelled like dirty gym socks on entry. It seems the shower curtain was not changed for sometime and had an unpleasant odor. Floor tiles had fallen off on the stairs and left to trip anyone using the stairs. The exhaust fan in bathrooms did not function. The AC did not operate at optimum levels to keep the temperature comfort. Maintenance does absolutely nothing to fix minor things around the property. This place is falling apart from within. One room had no telephone and when brought to front desk attention the guy shrug his shoulders and gave no response. The manager should be fired for dereliction of duty. While this property is within walking distance to the falls and Clifton Hill it leaves alot to be desired. Breakfast was included. read more

The room had hard wood floors, which I have never seen in a hotel before, and a fire place(even if it was a fake fire place it was a nice touch). This hotel is in a great location. Great breakfast with options! Location is nice and close to the Falls. You can walk right down Murray street to get to the Falls. All bus lines pick up and drop off within blocks of the hotel. Stay on the upper floors with a balcony for a view of the nightly fireworks at the Falls. Also one of the few hotels with free parking as long as you can find a spot. read more

This Quality Inn is about like what you would expect from a Quality Inn - dumpy surroundings, slightly updated room, terrible breakfast (the only thing edible was cereal). There is a taller building that has a few rooms with a view of the falls, but most of the rooms do not have a view. I stayed in the motel part which has 2 and 3 levels with a view of the parking lot. The AC unit in the room was loud and the walls were thin too so you could hear everything outside. The location is great, however! The falls area is a 5 minute walk down the hill! There are lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance as well. The free parking and no resort fee is the reason we stayed here. You'll pay $30 a night to park at most places. I'd stay again, but I'd bring my own breakfast food. read more

Probably one of the most basic hotels at Niagara Falls. If you only need a place to sleep and that it, then this is the hotel for you. When booking we were hoping we'd be in the actual hotel portion based on reviews that that portion was newly renovated. Sadly we were in the "outside rooms" as i'd called it so we'd have to walk outside in the cold order to go get breakfast. When we got to the hotel we were able to check in right away because it was already after 4pm. Although it was check in time, there was no queue to do so. The lady at the counter was kind and checked us in quickly. There's free parking at the hotel (you get a dashboard pass) and if you're lucky enough you can get parking not too far from your room and main area. When we first walked into the room it look clean enough. Being the germaphobe I am, I made search to look for any little insects crawling around in the room, which sadly wasn't that far to find in the bathroom. Luckily it was only a small portion, but on the shower towel mat there were little bugs crawling all over it. We simply took it outside to shake them off and never saw them again. In the main area there's an area where you are able to make some tea and coffee which I thought was cute. There's also a microwave so if you're like me and didn't finish your dinner at the restaurant you went to, you can warm up your leftovers at any time there. There's also a pool, but we didn't get a chance to check it out but saw a few people in there. Like I mentioned before, the room we got were outside so we had to walk outside in the chilly weather to get our complimentary breakfast. The breakfast comprised of breakfast desserts, toast, waffles, sausages, eggs, juice, coffee and tea. There wasn't much of a selection but when it's free you can't really complain. read more

I booked this hotel because it is in a good location.It is very close to the falls, the casino and all other attractions. But, it doesn't look like one of the Choice hotels, its kind of Okay. The room we were staying in didn't give a very comfort feeling and the shower pressure wasn't strong enough. I asked if I could use the microwave, the front desk said we dont have a microwave. The breakfast timing is from 8 till 11, very good timing but it should be 7 till 10, because some people leave early. read more

We tend to travel fairly frequent. We stayed over on 3/11/17. We were very satisfied, and thought the price we paid, which was roughly $60 USD, was a great price. It met all of our needs and was in walking distance to our destinations. The room was clean, and had a fresh feel to it. The daylight savings threw us off, causing us to be late for breakfast and check-out. But they let us grab a bite regardless, and were gracious checking us out. We wanted to stay in Niagara Falls a little longer, so they told us about their overflow parking lot. To avoid the $5.00 parking fee, we just used our parking permit from the hotel. We will definitely stay here again. We will also recommend it to our family members who tend to stop by the falls occasionally. The Falls is within site of the hotel. read more

Spent Sunday and Monday nights here. We requested a fall view room and early check in. We didn't get either. We arrived about 2 pm and our room wasn't ready. When we did get in our room, we didn't think it was terrible. There is no fridge and no safe which we were not happy about. The style of the waterfall sink left me grossed out when I was brushing my teeth as the water runs over a metal area before it becomes accessible. The bed was really hard and left me sore for days and left me sleeping only a few interrupted hours. The floor in the pool area was gross and skeeved me out. Free breakfast was nice, but most of the food was nasty. Free parking was also great. The location was perfect. Very close to the falls, restaurants, and lots of fun stuff! Absolute horrible service I do not recommend anybody to stay there because they do not have great customer service whatsoever. I've never been to New York I've never been to Niagara Falls I've never used this app to book a room. I booked a room and it put me in Canada I do not have a Canadian citizenship or a passport to go over there so instead of helping me. They gave me the hassle of sitting in my car and sleeping in my car until they can figure out whether or not they're going to refund my money. So I am sleeping in my car in New York never been here before, not comfortable feeling very unsafe because I'm waiting on the hotel. My wife and I stayed at the Quality Inn Fallsview Cascade in December. From the outside I was VERY skeptical. There is an indoor pool and hottub in the hotel. The hotel is VERY close to the Falls and right across the street from Fallsview Casino. Now onto the room...The front desk person was nice enough upon checkin. The room was PERFECT! It was recently remodeled on the 6th floor with a Fallsview room. It was in the tower, with a small balcony, a fire place, hardwood floors, king bed, and it was obvious everything was recently remodeled. Everything was very clean as well. I was VERY happy and pleasantly surprised. I used my choice hotel points, so the room was essentially free. The hotel was far from being sold out since it was a Thursday in December, which is not a peak time for Niagara Falls. I would definately stay here again if I knew I would have a room similar to this. Location was fantastic, The only drawback was the ice machine was on the first floor. We didnt eat here, we ate at the casino which had a 12.00 buffet including tax which was quite tasty. read more

Amazing value and very comfortable. And...This hotel is the closest walk to the falls, all the rest that are physically closer, while geographically there, they sit on a hill that you cannot walk down, making it sou you have to walk a bit further to weave down the streets to find access to the falls. There are several rooms with a view of the falls as well. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance, the casino is across the street, This place had free hot and cold breakfast and most importantly FREE parking. The Internet was also free and reliable, and there was a coffee maker in the room. There is a really nice heated indoor pool, with a connecting hot tub. The rooms are very nicely decorated with wood floors modern furniture and very nice furnishings, very impressed for being under $100. The bottom line.... This is a 3 star review, modified to 4 when you consider the price/value/location. My first impression when driving up was not great. Seemed more like a really budget motel, specially the looks on the outside of the non-tower rooms. The lobby did not make me feel any better and neither did the elevator and common areas. We ended up on the 5th floor in room 502. So when we go to the room, I was pretty happy about the interior. It was not fancy at all. But it was clean and the beds were very comfortable. What makes it 4 stars is the great view from 502. It is a corner room so one side overlooks the falls and the other side looks over the street. And the low price. Parking was easy and no extra charge. Wifi worked. In the morning, the mist from the falls was like snow coming over the room's balcony. It was pretty cool. Based on the looks of the lobby and public areas, I decided to not eat the supplied breakfast here and went elsewhere, so no comment on that. It may have been awesome. read more

The room is clean and spacious. We have a great view of the American falls up in the distance. Parking is free and that allowed us to explore the falls by foot. Breakfast is nice but there were no eggs or sausages served, possibly we came in the off season right after Thanksgiving and they only have a handful of guests staying. What stood out for me were the friendly staff, simple but clean room, free parking and great location. The spacious breakfast room was comfortable and the food spread was very good. We were four adults and the room was big enough for us -- the room had two full size beds and we added a rollaway. The downside of this motel is that all the noise outside the room, overlooking the parking lot, comes through loud and clear into your room. I had a very unrestful night in mid-June 2014 because a group of girls from the U.S. had come up for the weekend and one of them was having a severe emotional fit with her friends. At various times all through the night she was outside swearing a blue streak about Nicole and yelling at her friend who was trying to calm her down. Not exactly the hotel's fault but frustrating that no staff person was available to manage their disruptive behaviour. read more

Horrible customer service! We arrived at our room and it was HOT. The thermostat was blank and there was no way to turn on the A/C. We went to the front desk and someone came to look at the situation. We had checked in just before 6 p.m. and they said maintenance was already gone. They would not be able to get it fixed for us. They could put us in another room that was on the bottom floor in a less desirable location. I was not satisfied with that solution. So he offered to upgrade us to a room with a view of the Falls. That sounded good, so we went to our room to get our things. He asked that we bring our luggage to the lobby and they would get us keys for this room. As we were leaving our first room, he informs us that the new room only has one King sized bed. That isn't going to work as we had our daughter with us. He said for an extra $15/night we could get a roll-away. I didn't think that was something we should have to pay for. He then said he would need to check with the property manager to see if they could "comp" us for the roll-away. We had been in the side with exterior entrances. There are no elevators on this side, so we packed all of our luggage back down the stairs and were standing in the lobby. We had to wait there for an hour. They decided they wouldn't upgrade us... even if we paid for the roll-away. My husband asked what it would cost for us to just get a different room, but they said they were full - even though they apparently had a room available an hour ago. They "found" the maintenance guy who found that the thermostat needed batteries, but they didn't have any so he had to go find some from another property. Our daughter was tired and hungry. We were standing in this lobby past dinnertime, and the best they could do for us is offer to watch our luggage if we went to eat. Once we got back into the original room, it took the entire night for the A/C to catch up and provide any relief to the heat. The A/C unit is in a little hall-way up near the ceiling and it has to run full blast all the time to provide any relief in the bedroom. The bathroom is ice cold, though! The hotel did NOTHING to make up for the inconvenience. To make matters worse, on the 2nd day our key cards no longer worked. They acted like that was normal. Do NOT book the rooms that have exterior entrances and do not expect any customer service. read more

I would stay there again but there are a couple caveats. On arrival the desk was efficient and informative. The main caveat is that the elevator is barely accessible to able bodied humans, difficult with impaired mobility and you have to go back outside and back in to negotiate it with a wheelchair or walker. But then being an old river town a lot of the city is difficult for the disabled, but I was surprised to be met with that right off the bat. The room had a hard wood floor, different and I liked it. Normal room but attractive and we paid for the fall view and were not disappointed. In addition to a floor to ceiling window / door facing the US falls, there is also a little balcony on the other wall with a chair from which you can also see the falls. For reference we were on the 6th floor. The location is excellent, easy to find and convenient to everything we wanted to do. I found it to be a good value overall. read more

When you turn on water on the sink it was flashing and dropping on the floor. Mattress were horrible like they bought it from flee market. Plastic cups in side were used. Never use this hotel. 5stars for what it is, not less for what it isn't. This is a moderately priced hotel that is kept clean and has a pool and breakfast! Great value! No complaints and some good things happened. Staff was pretty nice. (A little bit looked at me funny when I walked in at 1pm... like 'Oh, she bout to ask for an early check-in! Well the answer is NO!' Yeah that's what I wanted and Yeah the answer was no. But that's OK. The room was ready when promised and they were friendly then.) They had a breakfast and while not delicious... it was still appreciated. They had juice and coffee, weird maybe... 'breakfast turkey sausages??' that weren't too tasty?? You know, weird textured/colored buffet scrambled eggs. I think they also maybe had hard boiled eggs. They had yogurt and generic whole fruit. They had english muffins and toast. They toaster was confusing! We were having a toast-cooking-too-long emergency! But how to pop the toast up! Well, it was a button inside the dial and a nice young man helped me with it - crisis averted. So it wasn't great... but in Canada even the juice and coffee would set you back a few bucks. So hey. OK now PAY ATTENTION! Let's call the hotel a combo. As far as buildings are concerned this was maybe once two separate hotels. One is an old L-shaped motel... like where the cars park in the middle by the rooms... and the entrance of the rooms is outdoors. This part is three stories high. There is another building that is a stand alone hotel building 'tower'. So, like, I booked on hotels.com and in the details of the room... it would say if one was in the other building... and the ones in the tower maybe all had a balcony?? I was skeptical about the balcony seeing as how it was November, but it actually had a Falls view and wasn't super cold! So it was nice. That being said... some balconies face the street or just the city. Also the first two floors of the tower might be too low to see the Falls. So the lobby and breakfast are in the tower... but the pool is in what was maybe the original front office of the old motel. Pool and hot tub, no loungers but there were chairs. Pool was warm! Hot tub warm. So if you go in the winter do you want to go swimming and then walk outside to your motel room??? that is up to you. There is a walkway from the 3rd floor of the tower to the pool but it has 2 flights of stairs and no elevator. ooooo that being said the old motel has 3 floors and no elevator. So keep this in mind for people with mobility issues. So just be cognizant of which room you are actually booking. The room was comfortable and clean. No problems. The bed was maybe kinda hard?? and the pillows were insanely big like barrels. I slept horribly, but bed preference is personal so it is not bad in itself. My husband was fine. Room was very warm, but temp adjustable. Hotel was mostly quiet. Plenty of parking. decently quick walk (up and down a decent hill!) to the falls. Decent nice walk to Clifton Hill (go to beavertails for a delicious pastry). Enjoy! read more

This place has a VARIETY of rooms. Some are much nicer than others. Be sure to ask which room you are paying no for before you book. We were put in a room that is more of a motel type. The rest one are incredibly small and although updated its all smoke and mirrors---- throw some new paint and a funky sink in the bathroom and it's "boutique". But the ceiling and the wall mounted air conditioner show the aging rooms. Maybe the rooms in the tower are better. Pluses: pool is nice and always had towels, parking included, close to falls. read more

So we decided to go to niagara falls this summer. When we got there we really didn't have a big budget for our hotel but my stepmom started yakking about a view of the falls. so that is how we got here. when we walked in the man at the desk was nice and welcoming. after asking the price we went to check the best west not too far away. best west was horrid when we walked in it was a horrible price for two double beds and pay parking, and didnt have a view so we came right back. so since we came as a group of 3 the man gave us a deal with room 504 and gave us two room keys instead of one. so when we go to check out the room ... it was fairly updated. no hardwood. I mean it was clean but not updated. the bathroom was old and I mean probably as old as that man at the desk. there was no mini fridge. well im fine with that. so we get settled in and enjoy the view from the little dining tabe in front of the balcony. then we get settled into bed for a nice snooze. in the middle of the night the chunky old air conditioner starts loudly blowing freezing air into my face.... ughh... this is my first time in a hotel so this kinda wasn't the first impression i was hoping for.. oh well. we got some rest and then headed down to the breakfast buffet. (it was included and inside the hotel.) it was good. though i outta mention there were some weird people in there.. there was like a dude dressed in a full-body mickey costume.. and a senior lady with neon blue hair.... lol. well that was a memorable stay. we enjoyed the price they gave us at 119 for the room. sorry its a bit long....... have a great vacation! -Alicia read more

We spent two nights here in a king room. Bed was nice and comfortable. The room had a desk and table with 2 chairs. After a day of walking around the falls the hot tub was welcome. We stayed off-season so there we not many folks in the pool/hot tub. Since it was off season, complimentary breakfast was next door at the Holiday Inn - eggs and bacon cooked to order. Great hotel! The rooms were clean and very nice! Hardwood floors, walk-in glass shower, and a fireplace! We were on the 7th floor with a fantastic view of the falls! Very convenient location. We were able to walk everywhere. The falls was only a short walk, maybe 5 minutes, good selection of restaurants, and the casino is right across the street. All this for less than $100US a night! We stayed here because we were going to a concert across the street at the Fallsview Casino. This place was great! It was literally a 1 minute walk or less across the street to the casino. This hotel is I'd say the closest to the Canadian falls as a hotel can get. It is about a 4 minute walk and you're there. Some of the other hotels look closer on the map but there is a large cliff between and you have to walk much farther to get there. We had a tower room and it was nice. It looked like it had been remodeled recently. It was obviously not as nice as some of the high dollar hotels but for a moderately priced hotel it was one of the better that I've stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room included free parking as well. I think the only bad thing I could say was the breakfast was not the strong point although the breakfast room was nice. We will definitely be back here again even though we only live about 35 minutes away across the border. This is a great place for a quick weekend getaway. read more

Nice hardwood floors, super-comfortable bed, decent flat-screen TV, great location across from the fallsview casino. One of the lights was missing a bulb, the soap dish in the bathroom was coming out of the wall, and one of the drawers had no bottom. Other than that, it was a nice (albeit small) room. The only thing this Hotel has going for it is it's location and breakfast. Great location, walking distance to all major attractions. Breakfast was an ok selection. I would have liked to seen a variety with meats instead of same sausage every morning (ie: bacon, CANADIAN Bacon). We took advantage of this due to the fact that the local restaurants feel they have to price gouge all the tourists. Stayed in main building over Office with falls view. Could see a little bit of American falls. Wish they would trim back tree line so view would have been better. Room was ok. Still could have used a better cleaning in bathroom. One of our beds was not made one day. Toilet overflowed and we contacted front desk. Gentleman just handed us towels to clean it up instead of having someone from staff assist us. Hallways were dingy and dirty looking. No air in hallways. Pool area looked dingy. Tiles are missing and paint is mismatched where they did touch ups. Deck of pool area is dirty and needs a good cleaning. Expected a nicer hotel for the price. Did not live up to the pictures on website. read more

A real high end like feel and pretty affordable if you go in weekdays. They used to be the best priced but since name change/ renovations it has become a tad pricier but still worth it.
