William and the Quality Plumbing & Rooter team did a great job replacing 2 faucets, replacing the pressure regulator for water coming into the house and also replacing our shower head and spout. Not only did they do great work, they were courteous, considerate and professional. William explained all of the work to be done and how long it would take - and they finished according to the explained timeline. When they arrived for the work, they removed their shoes when entering our house. They cleaned up all of the work areas when they finished. This company was awesome. They came out right away and installed our new water heater for us (we already had the water heater because it was a warranty replacement). I also had them replace the failing gate valve on the cold water line with a ball valve and inspect the gas line valve. I had a water leak in my house somewhere. I had my daughter call a plumber to check it out and fix it. The plumber found that the toilet was leaking from a "replaced fill valve and flapper" and from past experience, I know that the parts are not that expensive. All good and well, but it cost me $200 dollars. I don't know what the going rate is, but I find it a bit high. The service was good and the problem was resolved. I think I would check around next time and see what the going prices are. I am out of town and my daughter did what she could to get the problem fixed and I appreciate that. I called Quality as two of my other plumbing companies did not answer or could not come today Saturday Quality plumbing said they could absolutely come and it would be within a very short time frame. I'd give less if I could. Granted I live in a rental and did not pay for the services I wanted to post this to help prevent someone from going through this. They were to be at my home for one day to demo and re-tile a leaking shower. It's a stand up shower not very large. They arrived the first day and I had taken the day off work to ensure my dogs were out of their way. They got there and did not even begin working for about 30 minutes. Then one left, I'm assuming to buy materials for a job that had already been bid out and quoted. He was gone for almost 2 hours. When he got back they sat in the truck for lunch. The other guy pretty much stopped working while the first one was gone. He carried a bucket or 2 of demo material to the lawn. Yes, lawn! After 6pm they finally left. But we're not done. They had 11 more tiles to install as well as attach the shower head, nozzle and put the door back on. They told my husband they would be here at 9:30am to finish. I was livid, I could not take another day off work and I work from home. 9:30 rolls around, nothing. 10, nothing. At 10:15 I message my husband to call them. The person at the office had no clue that they told us they would have to come back or that they left their tools and supplies stacked in my bathroom. So I had to spend the day locked in my office with my dogs. It took them the entire day. They were not done until around 5:30 pm. Then we inspected the work. I do not even have words. I'll leave the photos for you to see. I would highly recommend NOT using this company. My front yard is still covered in tile pieces. My hallway had debris tracked all up and down it. read more

Sloppy work resulting in Emergency PG&E Gas leak services at night This plumber was hired via Bay Area Underpinning (as a sub-contractor) to install a flexible gas line as BAU lifted my home. Upon completion of the house lift, "Quality" Plumber returned and reinstated a hard gas line. Upon locking up my home that night, we smelled a significant gas leak. We had to call the emergency services department of PG&E for emergency repair. I contacted Quality Plumbing and Rooter service today (10/18/2022) because my outside water meter indicated I had a slow leak. After looking at all my outside and inside faucets, toilets, underneath the house and under the sinks I called Quality Plumbing and Rooter. They showed up within an hour, carefully examined all my faucets, underneath the house and all irrigation valves and finally found a very slow leak in one of outside irrigation valves next to my raised garden beds. Yeah!! Orlin Garcia was the name of the plumber who patiently assisted me with the leak detection. I intend on hiring him in the future with a toilet that it is eventually going to be replaced by me. My crappy home warranty (review on that later) set this Company to come to my home and repair a leaky drain pipe. Not sure of the guy's name that came out this morning, but it wasn't William. He came, went under the house to look at the leaky drain pipe and came back up to say that it was wet down there and he wasn't supposed to do any plumbing work when it was wet. OH REALLY?! 1) IT'S WET BECAUSE THE PIPE IS LEAKING, HELLO? 2) IT'S WET BECAUSE IT'S RAINING? He apparently called his boss, I'm assuming William and said that he was told that he couldn't do the repair and he would come sometime next week and he walked out, just like that.
