This place is unprofessional. My husband called this morning to ask if he can drop off our unused mini fridge. The person who picked up the phone confirmed they would take it and that it's donation only, which my husband said its fine because we don't use it anymore and just wants to recycle it. My poor husband hauls the fridge over here 5 minutes after the phone call, and then they said the don't take fridge. We told him that we were just on the phone 5 minutes ago and the guy just shook his head like tough luck, we cannot help you. It was a waste of our time and energy. read more

I went a couple months ago & again a few days ago. The crew is always so helpful. Like come straight up to the car and jump right in to lift out anything I am unloading. I'm grateful for it bc some of the card board boxes etc have been huge! Thank you!! read more

This was definitely the last time I will bring my recycling here. These people swooped down and downgraded my copper and brass after one of their guys had already gone through and separated it. It was the most ridiculous clown show I have ever witnessed. Downgrading a beautiful piece of copper pipe because they can tell it had a piece of tape on it at one time, just wow. First time here, I'm a fan! As soon as we drove in someone was directly us to a spot and brought us bins to put our recyclables. Chuee (not sure how to spell it) was soooo helpful, directing traffic but still answering all our questions since it was our first time. He saw us pushing our bins to the house to cash out and jumped right over to help. They weighed our recyclables and cashed us out so quickly. Also the pay out was higher than other places I've gone. I have been looking for a recycling center for plastic and glass bottles and aluminum cans since most have closed during the pandemic and most have not reopened. I had accumulated a lot and Quality Recycling just off the 78 in Vista. They promptly answered my questions on the phone, are conveniently located; when I arrived there was no waiting, they were organized, were very helpful. I was in and out in no time. They were great. This is a very well organized and managed facility with friendly staff. There's adequate parking at the front. My advice to save time would be to separate your recyclables by cans, bottles, plastic etc. before you arrive. That way all that needs to be done is to pour them into the various bins provided. read more

When my husband and I were starting to recycle bottles and cans, we were trying to find the ones who would give us the most money for our recycling. Many places rip you off. This place not only helps you if it's not so busy but they are very good with customer service. Plus they give you your money's worth and you don't need their coupon either. They add it automatically. I've been coming here for about a year and a half now. It's pretty busy at times so you have to wait your turn some days. They're closed sundays. When you live on your own, especially when you're in your 20's, you tend to throw a lot of parties or have people over from time to time. Typically, there are good amounts of alcoholic beverages when said social gatherings are taking place. Now depending on how awesome that particular night was or how often you have company, those soda cans, plastic water bottles, and beer bottles tend to add up. What to do? Some people will throw them in their city supplied recycling bins. While I find that very Earth conscious, I find it mind boggling that one would not get something in return especially living in California and paying for the CRV. Enter Quality Recycling. They do just as their name states and offer a quality experience when you're "closing the loop". (If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're too young. Ask a parent before venturing to online social sites.) Most recycling places I've been to make sure you sort your bottles (separating colors into separate barrels) and do not accept plastic bottles with the kids attached. Also, you have to fill your own bins and then lug the junk to them. So you can imagine my surprise when I came here and they didn't care about any of the aforementioned annoyances and did everything for me. They actually insist! So if you're looking for a place that gives good prices for your old party favors and don't feel like getting dirty, come here. Great service and an actual working sink station to wash your hands. This is a good recycling center. Every time I go there is a staff member ready to take my recycling and put it into bins for me, which I really love and appreciate. They also take milk cartons too, which is awesome. Downside, the parking is AWFUL. If they are busy you will be waiting. read more

They often have to areas open for recycling, easy in and out. The workers are friendly and help you with unloading (actually they will do it all. I think they have a tip jar, but it's not on your face! I give at least a buck each time directly to who helps me. Best of all you don't have to remove the caps from the bottles, I stopped going to waste management because of that. So yes 5 stars!!!!! read more

I always find them very helpful and cheerful. Things move along quickly, you are in and out and I love the $2 bills. I know I pay 10 cents a bottle/can CRV when I buy the stuff and don't get nearly that much back when I recycle it by weight, at least I'm rid of the stuff and feel good about myself. read more

My favorite place to recycle. Even though last time I went, there wasn't as much help as usual. A person finally came up to me, no smile or one word out of his mouth. He just brought it over to the scales. This is not the usual so hopefully they will train their new employees to at least say hi and explain the procedure. If I was new there, I would have been lost as to what to do next. read more

This recycling center is really clean (for a recycling center you cant expect much) and the service is exactly what it should be. You simply park your car and they will unload it for you and help you put them in the bins. They walk you over to the weighing station and give you your receipt to get paid. It's easy, not as smelly as other places and their service is great. read more

Very disappointed in this recycling center. I had a bundle of number one copper. It was clearly number one copper. They decided that it was number two just because they said it was. I will not be going back to this place ever again they lost my business. I have been coming to quality recycle for months now with no issues. Now all the sudden there are issues and I will never go back. I'm a heating and air-conditioning contractor that used to give quality recycling a lot of business. no more. For months I have dropped off all of my old furnaces and air conditioning units. Not only did they try and downgrade my copper from number one to number two they would not take my air-conditioning unit after months of taking my air-conditioning units with no problem. Also, the woman who wears the straw hat is super cool, as well as the dude who wears the football shirt, another dude that's cashier when flag dude mask isn't(usually), and another dude who helps out in the lot. read more

If i could i would give 0 stars but the owner was a jerk all my friend was trying to do is use her coupon which if they didnt accept it she would of been ok with but he said in a rude tone of voice that they didn't accept the coupon and that he didn't gave to take her cardboard she called back wanting to let the owner know about the rudness and her point wasn't about not taking the cardboard but how rude they said it unfortanally the rude person WAS the owner and once again was rude with her on the phone she was trying to let them know how she felt so no other person would experience just bad service but he ended up yelling at her on the phone well point is go else where read more

What has happened? I was unable to receive help as a physically impaired person. This is a service I could depend upon in the past several yrars. The service was very slow and disjointed. Another disappointment that is a reverse of past service. The bisiness seemed understaffed. Staff appeared hurried overworked and frantic. Smoothest recycling process I've ever experienced! I had a truck load of mixed paper and cardboard. They bring a huge container to your car for you to put the paper in and then they pick it up with a forklift when you are done. The forklift driver gives you a receipt and you take it to the cashier and they give you cash, including a two dollar bill! read more

I do all my recycling here and have been for years. I guess a lot of other people do as well since it can be crowded sometimes. They opened an upper receiving area so that helps. And I love the $2 bills they pay with. Really cool. read more

customer over 20 years, I always go to the station on the right side. the guy on the left is rude and at times combative! I do not know why he is so angry, but I do my best to avoid him!!! today I pulled in and a girl tried to direct me to the left side. there were 3 open spaces on the right so I pulled in there, so then she decides to slam her fist into the side of my 35 thousand dollar vehicle. I am totally unprepared for her rudeness!! but the gentleman with the beard calmly diffuses the situation!! being a Christian man I prefer to be nice to people. I want to thank this man for his professional customer service!!! It must be difficult dealing with rude co-workers.the next time I have problems here I will consider going to another location. customer service is everything!!!
