Quans is probably the best Chinese food in the Area. Food always comes out fresh, and they have a nice selection of sushi. The restaurant itself is decorated very nicely and service is pretty good. It's a nice enough place that you'd feel good about taking a special night out there. The downside versus other Chinese in the area is the price. All dishes are a couple dollars more than most other places in the area. Also, there are no "dinner combo plates" so you'll need to figure out things that everyone likes, or you'll end up over-ordering. Just things to keep in mind. But overall, the quality of the food and the atmosphere make Quans a step above your typical Chinese food place in the area. read more

While I used to visit Quans Kitchen very often for lunch, the last few times I've been, the food and the service have been horrible. Many screw-ups and after the screw-ups were fixed, the food was cold. They didn't even bother to heat it all back up or make an all-new dish. Very poor! read more

My husband and I have been frequent customers of Quan's. Until New Years Eve. We went early in the day (1pm) and were given a very limited menu due to the holiday. When we looked at the menu and the prices, holy smokes! Almost all of the prices had been inflated and portions much smaller. My husband asked the reception staff for a regular menu which they would not share but he did manage to get a copy. When we compared the usual meals to the New Years Eve menu, almost all of the prices had been close to doubled. Came here for dinner with some friends and was pleasantly surprised with the food. With Chinese food you usually end up eating something mediocre or just flat out nasty. In this case the food was actually pretty good. It's also a very nice restaurant with plenty of seating. I had an order or spring rolls for appetizer which were pretty good. Spring rolls can typically be an easy strikeout if they're over fried or doughy, these were neither. Very lightly fried, fresh and served hot. I also had an order of general tso's chicken which is can also easily be a nightmare if cooked wrong. These were actually better than most places I've had it from. Not overly breaded and the chicken quality was good. Not the best I've had by any stretch, but it was enjoyable. Service was lighting fast which is always a plus when you're starving. Had dinner the other night. Had unagi maki which did not taste like eel. Also had spicy seafood maki. I could not taste any seafood or spices. It was a tasteless mush. My wife had orange chicken which did indeed appear to be a bird. Once again there was no taste either of chicken or certainly not of orange. Quan's Kitchen is upper end Chinese food. I've eaten in the dining room once and was impressed, it's strikingly well done. Their take-out is prompt and their delivery driver always arrives quickly. It's slightly pricier than alternatives but the difference in absolutely wonderful. I simply don't bother with other Chinese restaurants. I'm a little harsh on reviews but when a good one comes along I just gotta jump on here! We've ordered from Quan's 3 times now.. big orders that just got bigger with all the FREE stuff they give you! Wow. I create meals out of what we get for three days. Everything is excellent! I LOVE that there are actual cherries and pineapple in the sweet and sour sauce, the soups and rices are lovingly prepared with quality ingredients. The delivery ALWAYS comes before expected and the drivers are very professional and friendly. My only complaint is that they give you so many soy sauce packets and fortune cookies, we'll NEVER run out! I keep meaning to tell them not to send us any more. Also, it's very sweet that they want to include white bread with the order.. but.. why? I give it to the birds. They'll be our go to place always! read more

Our waitress was working maybe ten tables at the same time and she kept a good eye on our drinks. Worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The Egg Rolls were uncooked. Peeled off top layer and underneath wasn't cooked. Tasted horrible. Boneless spareribs were nothing but fat. We asked for Sweet and Sour Chicken and General Gau's Chicken. We did not get the General Gau's chicken. Of course we did not get any type of receipt with an itemized list of what was given to us. We realized that the one other time we had tried Quan's, they had also forgotten to give us some food. Wonder if this is routine for them. Food is going in garbage. Used to be our go to place. Ordered a large order for Christmas Eve. I knew what I was up against being one of the busiest nights of the year. Called it in st 1 pm and told them I'm picking up at 515. Was given a price that seemed kind of high. When I arrived there was bags of food in the lobby, not being kept warm. Hmm? Went to pay and asked them to check the price. Was told they're charging "Christmas prices"! Hmmm? Got my food home, it was cold as expected. Missing items, half full containers and no "chefs choice " that they throw in when you spend $30 or more. (I spent $116) . I know they were swamped but don't charge me extra for sub par food. I was a regular customer of Quan's in Mansfield but now frequent this one since moving to North Attleboro. The food is decent; as with the other Quan's I do feel the rice is much to light in color as is the gravies for some of the dishes like egg foo yong. The chicken lettuce wraps are very good. I recently ordered soup for a takeout order which I never do but just decided I wanted it. I ordered the roast pork wonton soup; the soup was surprisingly very good and I have to say for a take out order I was impressed with the presentation; the vegetables were very fresh as if they had just blanched them for that particular order; they were cooked but still had crunch to them and not soggy from sitting in broth. read more

The 2 Stars given, is for the atmosphere. The food was terrible, and not very wallet friendly. The diet coke I ordered even had a watered down taste. We ordered the Sesame Chicken, Chicken fried rice, and the Peking Dumplings. Let's start off with the Sesame Chicken. It smelled wonderful, but I quickly learned that the aromas were very deceiving. The chicken, presented itself very well, again deceiving. It was bland, rubbery, undercooked. Moving on to the Chicken fried rice. Bland, bland bland! I love fried rice, but it was very disappointing. Last but not least, the dumplings. They were OK, but nothing to brag about. I've tasted better at UMI's. Chris: The first thing that hit me was the atmosphere- high celings, lots of mirrors; very comfortable eating environment. True to many high scale dining establishment. Arrived half-an-hour till kitchen closes and they were nice enough to offer full menu not including sushi. (Will definitely go back for sushi.) Menu looked impressive but chose to stick with standard szechuan dish. Lived up to expectations- shrimp, beef and chicken with hot peppers and peanut sauce. It's opened my mind to the rest of the menu and will have to visit again to try the Chef Suggestions. Tute: As above, I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant which immediately felt inviting. I ordered calamari as an appetizer and a Shrimp dish. we did come 30 minutes before closing so the waitress gave us our appetizers with our meal to expedite our dinner. The calamari was fair, not what I was expecting. The pieces were large. I ended up eating Chris' food as mine was served less than warm. Went here today with my my bff. I had the Kung pow chicken , it was very good, fresh peanuts, and had real chilipeppers. The won ton soup was very good, and the spring rolls were wonderful. My friend got the the general Tao shrimp, but even though I told the waitresss I'd pay extra to make it a lunch portion, she said it only would come as the dinner portion, no biggy because the shrimp were huge, and delicious (she is annoyingly picky) and she loved it! Been to Quan's a few time. Always get sushi and it's always pretty dang good. Service has been excellent as well, fast and friendly which makes it great! We like to get spicy tuna and the sweet potato roll. Nothing crazy fancy, but it's always good. They also have really good tea, which I can appreciate! Quans was ok. The spring rolls and fried rice were great. Our food was served very hot! Service was marginal and the boneless spare ribs were super fatty. We told the waitress but she just said she "likes them like that". I also wasn't a fan of the fact that you can order a dinner combination plate for take out but not if you dine in. ok, this is the straight deal, i gotta get out of dodge be4 the t or treaters come and freakout the dog, so here we go. ok, i had an urge for some awesome wonton soup, and let me yelp you all, if it stopped there, this would have been 5 stars, but it wasnt.... so we got there at 9pm, we had some other plans first in cumberland, but as we were just a throw away, we came a calling. mermer wanted some curry (ew) but hey, she likes it. so up to the desk we went and order a spring roll, veggie curry with most of the present veggies negated, an egg roll and some of the bomb wonton soup. 24 bucks. yup, not cheap swill by any means. no noodles either, minus one star. so the spring roll was obv very hot and she wanted to eat it in the lobby be4 getting in the car, that makes sense, however, i didnt want to eat it in their lobby as they were probably curing in chinese at us for doing so. well i tipped them on a to go order, so they can deal. i ate my egg roll oh, about at gillete on the way back up, it was cold and really not all that good, still better then golden temple, but this isnt about them. we got home and wifey went right for the curry to find out they didnt give her any rice for her 11 dollar curry, double boo and minus a star, minus two actually cause you angered the wifey gods. so where are we. yes two stars. well as you can see its three stars and thats only cause 1) im writing this not wifey and 2) oh boy the best roast pork wonton soup with yummie roasted pork, soft and tasty wontons and not too salty soup itself. Went here today with my boyfriend for a late lunch. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, vegetable chow mein, spring rolls, and non alcoholic strawberry daiquiris. It was all very good. Nothing was greasy at all, which is just the way I like chinese food. I don't like to feel like a grease pit after eating a meal. Our waitress was really friendly, and the dining area is a pretty comfortable atmosphere. My only problem with this place is that its a half an hour from my house! read more

Food's halfway decent, but READ YOUR CHECK! We ordered brown rice, which they charged $3 for, but there was also a $4 charge for "WR." I asked what it was, and she said "white rice," which we did not order or get! I then saw that on the two sushi items we were charged $2 more each than the menu price. Amazing food and beautiful interior. They have so much to offer, the typical Chinese food but then they also have an entire sushi menu (which by the way is fabulous, try as many as you can)! The portions were huge but the food is so good you'll want to take it. and there is always enough to share. Been going to this location for the past 8 years and sad to say it has been going downhill recently. Never had any issues with delivery but as for dining in the last two times were horrible. About 6 months ago we go in with friends and when we went to pay we told him to pay down with cash (20 dollars) and the rest on the card. He thought the 20 was his tip even though he repeated that the 20 was to pay down the bill. I'm sorry but a 20 tip on a 50 tab? Um no. Tonight we go in at 8:55 (How do I know? I checked to see that they would be open at least an hour later than we got there. I used to wait tables so I feel bad if its close to closing.) We are greeted immediately and sat at a table along with another couple with a child. The other couple was in another section and had a different server who immediately got them drinks and got them food. Meanwhile nothing from our server. After 15 minutes we left.
