But for residents of Weymouth and Quincy who want a quick dinner, without the bother of tipping a waiter, the takeout place on Route 53 is a good substitute. The decor, considering that this is just a takeout place is good. The service is friendly. My favorite dish are the Schezwan Imperial and which I usually order with Teriaki beef, Crab Rangoon or baked dumplings(Peking Ravioli) Someday, I'll pay the headquarters a visit. read more

Having had Quan's Hanover many times and wanting the connivence of delivery, I ordered Quan's Weymouth since I live in Weymouth. The one star is for how quickly the food arrived and how good the fried rice was. As for the chicken fingers, the breading around them was completely under cooked, mushy and gross. The crab Ragoons were bright green and mushy. No crispy outside at all. The General Gau's chicken was flavorful but not the usual spicy. Next time we will just order from another Chinese food place, as we will no longer get take out here. read more

The best Chinese food should be served on Christmas day, because they are pretty much the only ones open, right? So yesterday , Christmas day 2017, I ordered the Gen. Gao's Chicken meal with some substitutions, and they got the order right, but the food was horrible. The beef teriyaki was under cooked and certainly not hot enough, the fried rice literally had nothing but rice in it, and the Gen. Tso's chicken was cold and under cooked. The hot mustard was watered down and may have had water in it, be that as it may, I ordered extra mustard and only got one little tiny container. This is the second time in as many weeks I ordered bad food from this Quan's Kitchen. I will order from Peking Kitchen from now on, down the street and closer to where I live. read more

We use the delivery service and haven't dined inside as yet. The food is hot and is pretty good. Beef and broccoli was excellent there. We get appetizers as everyone wants something different but there's enough to share, of course. We enjoy the food at Chinese restaurants but we aren't really adventurous as far as ordering dishes that are very odd to us or that we are unsure about the ingredients. So far, we have ordered five or six times in the past year and have recieved prompt delivery and the prices are average for this style restarant. I would recommend it. read more

Quan's Kitchen is in close proximity to where I work; so when it was suggested that we order lunch from here, I thought: "Sushi delivery??! I have to try it." I ordered enough for two, and it included the Spicy Tuna maki and the Chef's Special maki. I also ordered a small cup of miso soup for myself. Low and behold, it was not so small, more like a bowl. Our total was $22.61, which isn't bad for sushi. I thought their sushi was decent, but I'm not positive that I'll be ordering from here often. It's a little pricey for just lunch, and I realized that I enjoy sushi more when I'm actually dining in a restaurant. However, the service was still really nice (meaning the woman who took my order over the phone and the man who delivered it). One word: HOT. In hopes of finding some good restaurants in the Landing area, we tried Quan's. We ordered using the website menu and the layout could use some work in addition to the missing prices. Anyways, we ordered the hot and sour soup, kung pao vegetable, and orange chicken and the food was ready for pickup in about twenty minutes. The soup was MY GOD spicy. I coughed and choked my way through a small helping and threw in the towel. The vegetable dish was equally as spicy and the chicken had a weird aftertaste that I can't really pinpoint. The "best dish" (I say that lightly) was probably the free green beans they included with the order, which was still raw. In all, I can't say for sure if any of it was actually good as the spiciness was overpowering all of my taste buds. Really 3.5 stars. After 7 years of loyal patronage to Asia Palace (formerly Panda Palace), decided to try a new chinese place. Given the volume of Mai tai/old man bars that happen to serve chinese food in the area, i rolled the dice and picked one. Based on take out reviews on yelp, we landed at QK. Food review based on order of.pu pu platter for 2, house fried rice, and chicken rice soup. Pros: unique ingredients that spice up the standard appetizer fare (ex. mozzarella cheese in the crab rangoons). Not overly greasy. Very clean front of house, professional/friendly greeter upon pick up of food. Good value got quality, quantity, and convenience. Fried rice was fresh, both the brownish hue rice dropped in a wok full of oil that looks like it was made yesterday. Cons: take out window only - other quan locations have restaurant but this one doesn't. No bar either. Always a plus to have a quick drink and game of keno while waiting for your food, but that's just me. Menu items look exactly the same as every other chinese joint in New England (a general complaint of mine - would it kill a place to offer something new??!). Quick to get your food out, but not so quick that it makes you suspicious. Soup was bland, as expected. Usually broth from thai places are so much better - maybe the lemongrass and galangal? I would definitely go back to sample other menu items. Prices are consistent with other places in the area but the cleanliness sure make them stand out. read more

I've been ordering from Quan's for about 5 or 6 years now and the food is consistently fresh (especially the crisp veggies), the staff is consistently friendly and courteous and their delivery is very fast. The only gripe I would have is the chicken in the mixed dishes always tastes a tad off, like rubbery or something. So I always order the chicken fingers or the wings along with a couple of veggie dishes like the ginger scallion lo mein, vegetable Kung Pao or the Buddha's delight. Their egg rolls are out of sight as well, with a taste of fresh ginger mixed in and never soaking in oil like so many other Chinese food restaurants serve. Food is always hot and fresh, the best testing for around. Was just in there tonight when a phone customer told them their chicken fingers were cold. The kids out front have us a free sample to try since the cook was doubting himself, and of course there was nothing wrong with the food. After traveling home after a 6 hour car ride with 2 sick kids in tow, I was not about to cook dinner. I got a rare craving for Chinese food and despite the mixed reviews decided to give this place a try because of it's proximity to our house and price of food. My husband ordered the general tso's combo and I had the sesame chicken combo. Though the portion sizes were sizable the food was very, very bland at best--not at all what you'd expect from Chinese food. The crab rangoon had a very thick flour coating and the inside was kind of runny. Also ordered the egg rolls and couldnt finish them because they were just not good. I got my expensive meal for my family with some duck sauce... the sauce tasted like vinegar and was watered down. I called and spoke with man who had told me that there was in fact vinegar in the sauce and it was watered down after 5 minutes of trying to tell me that there was no change in the recipe. We ordered take out from Quan's Kitchen in Weymouth MA, and we were extremely disappointed with the food. The rice was dry as hell - they said because they "reheat it" meaning it old and they reserve the food that isn't consumed. The chicken was absolutely disgusting - both the chicken fingers and chicken wings - wayyy undercooked! We will never order from this place again, most disgusting food we have ever had. To make it even better, both my wife and I have been visiting the bathroom every other minute, where the food goes through you faster than a speeding bullet.
