Horrible slow service. Also beware! Do not go with their service. When our family moved to another home within Las Vegas we decided to switch to COX. Quantum Fiber instructed us to return their equipment via UPS. We did that two months ago. Guess what? This morning we received a auto debit of close to $500.00 claiming that their equipment was not returned. Now we have to go through the hassle of proving we shipped the equipment back to them. My advice, don't go with them. Take pictures/video proving that you put their equipment into the box. It's a scam. I have provided you the red flag. Quantum fiber says they have a 24/7 technician available. this is not true they have 24/7 operator support that can do nothing for you. had my fiber line get broken, yes I know this is not their fault however I needed this fixed asap and when calling to ask for a tech to come out all they could do was schedule an appointment. Horrible service and customer service. I live in Lehigh Acres FL and unfortunately they are the only option.....which is sketchy in and of itself. Anyway, I cancelled them once and just went with my phone Hotspot which worked better. Running into data issues, I had to take them back. The underground line was cut by construction work and they told me it could be up to 30 to 45 days in Lee Co because they have to run a line under the road which requires a permit. The 3rd party fiber optic company just shows up, unannounced, 3 weeks later and say, oh no, we can run it from that box over there and be done today. Nobody knows what they are doing there!!! Misinformation. And then it took me 3 days, yes 3 days, to cancel my service as I kept getting the run around. After two years I have called and they have been at my house three times to bury the cable.Every time I call they come out and then they never come back. I live in Lake Arbor in Arvada. I posted on Nextdoor and several people are having the same thing happen in lake Arbor and communities around us. Some people even wrote they buried the cable them selfs . I decided to try Quantum Fiber instead of Xfinity from Comcast. I live in SW Portland, if that is relevant. On the plus side, the internet speeds are blazing fast, in our case 3 times the speed of our Comcast plan for 60% of the price. Now the negatives: We are probably cancelling our service. We still don't have a working Quantum network in our house. I'm so glad I kept Xfinity during the transition, so we can cancel Quantum with no interruption to our service. Details: 1) Customer Service is "helpful", but the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. One example (of several) is that a representative ordered a new router. However, two weeks later, it hadn't arrived. I called in and a different Rep told me that they can't mail a router, and that he would dispatch a technician with a router. They had availability five days later, which isn't too bad, and all of this is free of charge. 2) Poor results with the installation. The installation technician was in a big hurry to move on to the next job (presumably the pace is set by Quantum). Before he left, I had already ascertained that our internet speeds where tanking to 3 Mbps. Close to the router, they were 200 Mbps, twice what we get with Comcast. In retrospect, he should have been more involved in figuring out the problem, as he had two viable solutions at his disposal, and I had no options without his help. read more

We've had services with Quantum Fiber for over a year, and every month has been a game of roulette with our money. Are we going to receive the credits we qualify for? Will the issues we identify be made right? It seems the answer is generally no. QF has the honor of being the first company for which I have filed a BBB complaint. They responded, stating the issue was resolved, and they would be crediting us the money we shouldn't have had to pay over the last year... then proceeded to "credit" our account and DOUBLE charge us. With call hold times hours long and queues so large they can't even be accurately displayed, it seems their strategy is a war of attrition. No customer service? No problem! If you don't have the time to devote hours, days, or longer to resolving the issue, they'll continue to get away with what they're doing. The Facebook reps seem to be trying, but there is an obvious disconnect somewhere that I have spent an absurd amount of time trying to clear. To make matters more frustrating, they recently raised their prices, too. For what? I understand inflation, but since my services didn't change and the customer service from QF is some of the worst I have ever experienced, it's difficult to see the value in paying more. Unless you are a magical unicorn who somehow doesn't have to scrimp and save right now, I recommend you use ANY other internet provider until if/when Quantum Fiber figures out how to handle being an honest business. read more

Changed to Quantum fiber 500 mbps and it is not much faster than my old 10 mbps broad band service with Century Link. Only real benefit is fiber is $5 less per month. Don't know how dependable fiber is when there is a bad storm {broad band was terrible} because there hasn't been one since service was installed. read more

Installed CenturyLink's Quantum Fiber internet last month. Appointment scheduling was quite easy. Technician came within the scheduled timeframe, friendly, and explained things to me. The wired internet speed is 100%+ The Wi-Fi speed is around 50%+ Billing amount is exactly same as they told. No issues. I am happy with it so far. read more

Service is good i guess but customer service and processes need a LOT of work. I sold my house and moved accross country. I was told to take the pods and ship back to them and leave the rest of the equipment for the new buyers. I received a QR code for the pods, shipped them in the time required and here we are a month later I get notified they charged me $325.00 for the equipment that I returned. Of course you can't get a person on the phone, like every other company these days so I use the chat system. They ask me for the QR code THAT THEY GAVE ME, and say "oh we updated your account with the tracking number so we will refund your money in 8 days" okay so YOU are the ones who gave me the tracking number so why not check that BEFORE charging me $325.00 so you can CLEARLY see that it was delivered on 7/29/25. That is some crooked practice. Come on Quantum. Seriously? luckily I have plenty of money in my account to cover this but I can't help but think of the people who don't, what this could do to them. One star because I cant have zero stars. We have a "no soliciting" sign on our door that we have had to point out to all 5 reps who have come knocking. Most recently, the rep said "oh, well internet is a utility so this isnt soliciting". Whoever trained this guy needs to be fired, and this company should get a slap on the wrist. Not reliable! New service in Seattle was operable from June 2025 to Aug 2025. After 1.5 hours of troubleshooting an "offline" situation on Sunday Aug 10, they set a first available service appointment for Aug 18th. I have no internet, I will not have internet for 8 days, assuming they can get it working on the 18th. I work from home, I had to get Xfinity for a backup, they set up new service in just two days and their service is working great! read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. Century Link recently "migrated" their customers to Quantum Fiber telling us we didn't need to do anything and that services will switch over automatically. LIES. As soon as the "start date" comes we immediately start noticing slower speeds, longer loading times, etc. We call them just for them to ask us what equipment we have in the house so they can send that information to the programming team to update our service to quantum fiber..... Shouldn't they already have this information?? Maybe I'm crazy, but shouldn't this information be in the customer file? And shouldn't the programming team already have updated everything needing to be updated before rolling out whatever service to the customers? Insane. Terrible customer service too. They couldn't answer any questions about the service or give any timelines or even help troubleshoot any issues. We were without internet for three days! In 2025! Horrible customer service agents. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Due to an error on Quantum's end, I keep getting notifications about the return of equipment even though. This is after calling in numerous time. Last time I called in - spoke to Marcia who hanged up on me after an hour on hold and after me asking to speak to a supervisor. Marcia clearly mentioned to me that she is not allowed to transfer me to a supervisor or a manager. If I could give Quntum's customer service ZERO starts I would. I live in Clermont FL. As of Oct 16, 2025 at 1250pm, we have had no internet for over 20 hours. When it went out on the 15th, I received 4 texts messages each giving a later time that they figure our service should be restored. When it works, the speed is lousy on my phone. I get better service if I leave my phone on 5G. If you have another option in your area for fiber internet, pick it because Quantum Fiber is terrible.​ read more

We have waited 3 months to get a temporary line buried. we were told on 4 different occasions that we had a date and plan to have it buried and each time it never happened we would call and be told there was never a request submitted for it. It's unbelievable I don't know how we will ever get it buried. We have to mow around it, our neighbor has to mow around it and are not happy about it. I recently moved out to Washington from Arizona where I have had Centurylink for the last 5 plus years with no complaints. When I spoke to the manager of the Townhomes I was going to be renting from she told me that they have Centurylink as an option. So I kept my locked in amount and I was just transfering. Then I find out that here it is not Centurylink it is Quantum Fiber which I was told was their sister company. So I contacted them on 1/6 and the Customer Service person was very nice. I requested a tech to come to my home on Friday 1/10 the day I was signing my lease so no down time with work from home not out any money. To my surprise the CSR - said you dont need a tech those townhomes have instant wifi. No clue what that meant but it was explained that when I got there I would want to go and search for the modem, and log in like normal. Ok that sounds easy. She told me she had disconnected my Centurylink and charged me for the first month of Quantum. (I found out when looking at my bank account that she did not disconnect Centurylink so they took out the January payment - I only spent 10 minutes on the phone with them and the money was already back in my account) When I arrived on Friday with movers and people everywhere I was tryng to get online so that I could work from home later or in the morning - since that is what I do. Well I could not find the modem so after several hours on chat and on the phone with another CSR I am told that they needed to send someone out, which is why I scheduled this ahead of time. The soonest that they could get someone out was 1/15 - may not seem like long but when you work from home it IS. I asked if I could pick up equipment or use my own and was told that there was no office and no it had to be their equipment. The girl kept saying "I understand and I am sorry" - really stop reading from a card and just help me get this fixed. I got mad and frustrated so I thought that I would wait until the next morning and calm down. Saturday morning - I get up and get on the phone with them - I was on for 60 minutes and finally I requested a supervisor - to which I was told there was not one and then after about another 3 0 minutes and my explaining loss of income to this CSR she agreed to transfered me to a supervisor - the phone rang 2 and then said that the voicemail was not set up and it hung up on me. I went to a Xfinity office picked up the modem and was installed within 1 hour of hanging up with them. Then on Monday morning I went onto the Quantum App and found that they still had an appointment scheduled for a technician to come to my house on 1/15/25 between 12:00 AM and 4:00 AM. WTF who is going to let a stranger into their home in the middle of the night? I got on a chat with their support people and she kept telling me that she would cancel my service on 1/14/25 and then she said 1/15/25 . I asked her if she had read what I typed before that my service was never started why would I have to pay for anything? then she told me that it would 7-14 days and I would receive a check in the mail. Again I said no you took money out of my account before my service was even scheduled to start and now why should I wait this money need to be back in my account now (it is still not there 3 days later). This is truly a joke - instant wifi ----NOPE Since I still do not have the money back I am going to file a complaint with the FCC. read more

Speed is good only when it works. When it doesn't work you might as well bang your head on the wall. They either don't know what's wrong, don't know when it will be fixed, give you a made-up time it will be fixed, give you another made-up time it will be fixed, or ask you for more info and then ghost you. Customer service is only available from heavily accented overseas operators who read whatever script is in front of them. Techs apparently don't work on weekends. When digging for their lines the were incompetent. They hit our underground utility and knocked the power out for several hours. The local power company had to send several trucks out to fix what they broke. When the power came back on one of my major appliances did not come back on. The foreman stated it was their fault and they would replace my appliance. After filing a claim the company decided they will not be responsible for their actions. My line to my house has been broken twice, I have repeatedly told them that the line is too low (11' 8" ) . Yet they keep putting it back the same way. I believe the code is no less than 14". I called i. december 3rd to cancel my service as of December 31 and they confirmed the cancellation only to charge me a full month on December 20th and when i asked if id be getting the partial refund after the deactivation they said no, so I had to choose between paying 60 dollars for just 11 days (most of which i wont even be home) or deactivating early and hoping they actually process the refund for the full month. Its f'd up because people arent just going to move out on their billing schedule and arent going to want to pay for a whole month if they are moving out. Highly suggest change from this company. As others have said-- when the service is working, it's fine, the price has stayed consistent like they said-- but when it comes to scheduling ANY kind of work, it's just bullsh**, bullsh**, bullsh**. I had a power outage two days ago-- all the 360 pods that were plugged into the wall just stopped working entirely without explanation. The tech on the phone was an idiot and completely unhelpful. I might also add, that his very thick accent made him nearly unintelligible-- and I say that as someone who is pro-immigrant. Today, I had the fourth pod that was still working just quit on me, without further explanation. Is this planned obsolescence? How can all 4 pods they gave me stop working within the same span of 2 days? I f***ing hate Comcast and went with Quantum just so I wouldn't feed the greedy and notoriously antagonistic Comcast, but Quantum is nearly just as bad. The worst internet service I've ever experienced. They managed to make Xfinity look good from a customer service standpoint. We were forced by Century Link to switch to Quantum Fiber 4 months ago. Since then I average 10 hours a month with customer support, service techs, and intermittent service. Today their customer service told me 'This is your first warning' after I expressed my frustration with thier service being out, AGAIN. Sure, you get super high speeds to the modem, but the practical setup and signal within a house is significantly less (still fast, but no where near advertised speed). I get 900 mbps to the modem and an average 100 mbps usable wireless signal on thier WiFi 7 pod setup. If reliability is important (do you ever work from home?!), then avoid Quantum internet at ALL costs. read more
