Less than zero. My account was moved to quantum with no notice. When my modem quit working, I was forced to talk with Quantum even tho I had been paying century link. Quantum made me sign up for their services AND pay before they would even schedule an appointment. I am 86, no reader phone, no computer or Facebook, no tv and they can't fit me in before a 12 day wait. Two days before my appointment I got text that said I got rescheduled for another 8 days because they don't have the resources and there is Nothing They Can Do. Their contractors are terrible, they strung the line overhead, ala 1930 They're invasive to our yards, they left a lot of trash behind. This is literally the worst internet service I've had in my life. I've had Quantum Fiber in Portland, OR for 6 months and have been consistently unsatisfied with my service. I feel completely conned into switching from Centurylink and now I cant switch back because Centurylink isbphasing out all internet customers to Quantum Fiber. They teyband convince you its an upgraded service, but Im paying more for my internet now only to get significantly worse service. I experience consistently slower speeds, and recurring down signal... videos often get stuck buffering after the first 10 seconds, or the browser will straight up tell me Im offline/my wifi will say Im connected with no internet. I have to turn my wifi on and off multiple times a day to try and get it to reconnect, and at least once a week I have to hard reset my router. As soon as theyve sold you on the service, customer service is basically non-existent or completely useless. They've been absolutely no help in diagnosing or fixing any of the issues I've tried asking for help with. If you actually get anyone on the phone the only thing they do is tell you to reset your router. They seem to have no clue about any previous communication, or notes on your account either so they are disconnected and disorganized. Oh and also you're forced into autopayment, they dont accept checks or payments over the phone which makes it impossible to accept payments from 3rd parties/someone paying on your behalf (like a roommate/ family member/housesitter). You cant even change what card you want your bill to be processed on without setting that card up as your new autopayment. Just a small annoyance on top of everything else. read more

They randomly suspended my account WITHOUT NOTICE, and each of the four customer service agents I've spoken with have all given me a different reason and no solution other than to wait 24-48hrs. This is the second time within a month that my internet has been shut off despite paying my bills on time. If you work from home or have a smart system for lighting, I DO NOT recommend Quantum. Have had QF for 2 years - overall wasn't terrible, pretty solid connectivity. SInce this AT&T buyout, speeds are being slowed down every day. Now I'm at 12Mbps upload and less than 2Mbps download. If you are new to QF, or are thinking about them - don't. Go back to tin cans, WAY better !! read more

I had ordered the new quatum fiber in June 2024 they spent a month installing the fiber cable, they dug my yard up installed fiber cable up to the house and said another tech would come out to connect that took two weeks the tech said that there was a brake in the cable upon installation so he ran another cable across my driveway and threw my yard. the service was coming slow in calling support was impossible you wait an hour and half waiting to talk to somebody they say there going to fix the problem. I spent all of September and now in November to cancelI have sent there modem back now I have a charge where they took $299out of my bank account and can't do anything about it! read more

I'm getting 10% of advertised? I pay for the 940Mbps. I have never receive more than 200Mbps. I consistently get ~100Mbps. I understand that most companies exaggerate their numbers, but come on. The other big option for me is Spectrum, which is a worse ISP with frequent connectivity problems as well as overall shutdowns - Quantum Fiber is better than Spectrum IMO because it is relatively stable, but that doesn't make up for the fact that they only give me 10% of what I'm paying for. QF has had maybe 2 outages in the 11 months I've used them. I would give them more stars, but it's a really dick move to restrict my internet so that they can portion out my 940Mbps to 10 other customers who are having the same issue. read more

I just moved into a new Neighborhood in Mesa, AZ, and was forced to get Quantum Fiber (a subset of CenturyLink) because there was no Cox hookup available. Cox is a lot of things, most of them bad, but the Wifi connection was decent. With Quantum Fiber, the company often lacks communication when there is an outage or system update to their website, leaving paying customers without Wi-Fi. When you visit the website, a message is displayed stating that there is no outage issue. Not to mention, when attempting to contact CenturyLink's customer service department, an automated message states that the call volume is too high and they are not accepting calls. It's diabolical! All the gaslighting to find out later there was an outage, and they did not notify the customers or update the website. Would not recommend. read more

Will not stop charging your account after you cancel service. We had outages weekly so we cancelled our service and moved to another provider. I've had 4 calls with customer service every couple weeks trying to stop them from charging me and nothing helps. They also sent out an email about how everyone is getting "free" equipment upgrades. A week later they sent out another email that the monthly charge was going up $10.... That's not a free upgrade. read more

1. Due to Quantum Fiber's back-end issues, my partner and I had to live without internet for an entire month while both of us work from home. During that month, we contacted customer service multiple times, but each time they deflected responsibility, repeatedly saying "it's being fixed" with no actual follow-up. The issue was only resolved after we strongly demanded that a technician be sent to our home. 2. Their online customer service is unacceptable. If you truly want your issue resolved, you have to call in the afternoon when a local specialist might answer, instead of dealing with outsourced support. The online chat agents seem more focused on wearing down your patience than on providing real solutions, and the chat always ends with them leaving the chat. 3. I've only had the internet service restored for three days, so I can't comment on its quality yet. But after a full month of endless back-and-forth, I am completely exhausted. If you decide to go with Quantum Fiber, just hope you never run into any issues, because their customer service clearly does not care. read more

Great internet, but terrible customer service. One of our wireless pods stopped functioning. We realized it three weeks ago. The agent on chat was great! Complimented us for doing all the tests he would have done and told us a replacement would ship the next day. Three weeks later ... We contacted chat again 2 days ago and they told us it would be expedited and "contact us again in 24-48 hours." Contacted them today, nothing has been done. I actually called the voice number and was told nobody even opened a ticket 2 days ago, and that there is no way for me to escalate. "Call back in 24-48 hours" I was told again. BE CAREFUL - DO NOT TRUST! On 11/04/25 we made an appointment service installation on 11/10/25, and paid the $80.00 fee. On 11/10/25, the appointment was cancelled by Quantum Fiber, stating they don't actually service the area, but not worry, it's coming soon. As this was an urgent safety matter, we asked for a refund. They told us they'd be out the following week and to call back if they cancelled again. Essentially, they refused to refund the money. We installed the internet from a different company and have tried to procure a refund from Quantum. As of 12/03/25 Quantum has not refunded our money. We've spent over 90 minutes on hold over two calls, and been disconnected prior to speaking with a representative both times. This seems like insane behavior from a large company; not knowing they don't service the area before taking a payment for said service, and refusing to refund money when they don't actually have a plan to install the service anytime soon. Calling the city confirmed they do not yet have a permit for the area, so it's certainly not "coming soon". It's obvious fraud, but why? It's very strange, and not worth spending anymore time to resolve, but we think you deserve to be told! read more

I highly suggest ANYONE except quantum: 1) Price has steadily risen in less then two years of serevive 2) service goes out constantly. if your service goes down you HAVE TO REQUEST A REFUND. Incredibly predatory tactic 3) my service was down for nearly two entire weeks. I got a service appointment scheduled to fix it. After waiting several days, the tech came out and tried all day to no avail. After my service was NOT FIXED, I was told that I would have to reschedule with another tech. I received no priority and had to be thrown back into a queue with everyone else. What kind of crap was that? I had to wait again for several days for a tech to come back, and then had to re-explain everything. After the service came back, I contacted them and received a refund of $26. Yes, for nearly two weeks of no service and terrible customer Service, we only got a $26 credit. What a joke. 4) terrible Equipment and terrible app. i can't customize anything and many of my devices constantly dissconnect. No techs or CSRs have ever been able to help me with this issue. I have "changed" it 3 times so far and have had 4 chats and they don't see my change even when I provide several screen shots with time stamps proving that I didn't and submitted it and that it was accepted. It was an amazing service until I was sent equipment to do a mandatory upgrade. I'm in Arizona. I have Quantum Fiber at my business. With the upgrade, my smart thermostat is no longer able to connect. After being on hold to connect with tech for 3 hours yesterday and over an hour today, I have to have an electrician reinstall the old thermostat so that there's AC to my business! After this experience, I'll be switching to another provider. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

In early December, my elderly in-laws asked for my help because their CenturyLink DSL service (both phone and internet) was down. When I connected to their Wi-Fi, I discovered a CenturyLink splash page bluntly informing them their service was being discontinued, and they'd need to switch to Quantum Fiber, CenturyLink's supposed "sister company." Without warning, CenturyLink had already cut their service. After examining their modem's setup page and confirming the service was dead, I called Quantum Fiber on their behalf and scheduled an appointment to install fiber at their house. The earliest available appointment was December 18th. When the Quantum technician finally arrived, they took one look and declared, "Oh, we're going to need to dig a cable to the house. We'll do it after the holidays." No firm date, no follow-up plan--just a vague "after the holidays." The holidays came and went. Still nothing. In the meantime, I reached out to CenturyLink to at least reconnect their phone service, as my in-laws--both elderly and not comfortable using cell phones--had no way to make calls. CenturyLink flatly refused, despite their old modem showing the DSL status as "connected." A manager dismissed me with a hollow apology: "As much as we'd love to help, we just can't reconnect the phone now that it's swapped over to Quantum." Weeks later, my mother-in-law called CenturyLink directly and was told, "Oh, this isn't right. We can reconnect your phone until Quantum finishes the install." That was two weeks ago. Despite repeated assurances that it would take no more than three business days, nothing has been resolved. To add insult to injury, Quantum already has their payment information on file from the initial setup process, yet they've done absolutely nothing to deliver service. This entire experience has been a masterclass in incompetence, finger-pointing, and customer neglect. CenturyLink and Quantum Fiber are two sides of the same broken coin, and neither company seems capable of basic communication, let alone providing reliable service. I wouldn't touch either of these companies with a 10-foot Ethernet cable. If you value your time, money, or sanity, stay far, far away. We have no Internet for a week and Quantum does nothing to fix it. The most unreliable provider ever! We had few technician visits scheduled this week, every day staying at home waiting for this imaginary technician, but nobody ever showed up, and then my husband calls support and they apologize and reschedule for the next day and same thing happens next day and that's how week passed. Today again no one came to fix it. The lady from support team said she couldn't reach the assigned technician because he is still in the previous location, but she left him a message, and he will call us as soon as he finishes there. After being forced to accept Quantum fiber, from Century Link, we have encountered numerous upgrade outages, we were not informed about at sign up, and each update of outage status dragged out for days. We had no offer for business type services, which we run out of our location, and we have working college students who rely on internet to complete their homework and projects. We have been forced to take up a temporary residency at a local library to complete our daily tasks. Until the 'upgrades' are complete, and who knows beyond that, we highly recommend other means of internet access. read more

I got Quantum Fiber earlier this year - $50 for 500mbps up and down. The first several months were great, fast, reliable. Over the last 3 weeks it has been total rubbish, with avg. test speeds in the 130MB Down and 35 Up, but as low as 117 Down / 11 Up. I restarted modem and devices multiple times before contacting customer service. The lady helping me was nice, but in the end she couldn't help me. She said I needed a technician to come assess and that the earliest appointment I could get was one week out! I am shocked... I used to recommend Quantum, but this experience will have me pushing people away from it. Even Xfinity/Comcast would be 2-3 days max. Now I see they're raising rates too from the $50/mo I agreed to. Horrible slow service. Also beware! Do not go with their service. When our family moved to another home within Las Vegas we decided to switch to COX. Quantum Fiber instructed us to return their equipment via UPS. We did that two months ago. Guess what? This morning we received a auto debit of close to $500.00 claiming that their equipment was not returned. Now we have to go through the hassle of proving we shipped the equipment back to them. My advice, don't go with them. Take pictures/video proving that you put their equipment into the box. It's a scam. I have provided you the red flag.
