The electrical system, engine system, fuel system even the trailer. I called and left many messages they do not return my calls. The oil level was low, the trailer winch was bent (they must have overloaded the trailer with some massive boat) all the hardware is not the correct material I have rust everywhere I am going through the boat and replacing all the hardware to 316.

They went above and beyond when I brought them my boat to install the new motor. They drained the fuel tank to make sure there was no contaminated fuel, they went through my complete electrical system and fixed many problems, they detailed my boat , and they repaired by GPS as well. I needed to change my dripless while the boat was going to be out for bottom paint. I was told that I had two options. 1. Paying something like $500 to come in on the weekend or have their mechanic do the work at $160/hr +-. Either way it was a lose/lose situation. I really miss being down in San Diego.

This family owned and operated yard focuses on the customer and do their best to ensure a good haul out and repair experience. An unnamed shipyard in Alamitos Bay did not even call me back after leaving a message of what I was looking for in a haul out. A few days…read moreafter going through our boat, he wrote us a lengthy 1 page email detailing everything he found (down to missing screws on the cowling), things that needed to be replaced, things that should be addressed, and items that he found that he said we could do ourselves if we wanted. We took our boat in (which is a big deal since we store it in a slip) to have them do our yearly service. Like most boat owners, we do our best to keep it maintained but also are aware that the boat had some deferred maintenance. They gave us a reasonable quote for the service and we asked them to go through the motors and give us a laundry list of items that the boat needed- and like most boats, it needed a lot. What we appreciated most was that they gave us plenty of options. Foe example, our hydraulic rams were pitting and leaking during the inspection and he gave us options down to each individual piston whether we could rebuild them, replace individual pieces, or replace the entire system, and his professional opinion on both. He showed us how our T-stat housing gaskets would leak due to corrosion and showed us how they cleaned it up and used a marine gasket maker to seal it and stop the leaks. It's not a permanent fix but the motors are 20 years old and we're just looking to get back on the water- not replace an entire engine block. When we went to pick up the boat he spent 30 minutes with us showing us everything that was done and answering our long winded questions. Before we left, the nice girls at the front desk gave us some official Honda Marine hats. Anyways, 10/10 would recommend.

So far they have: - adjusted cleaning schedule around cruises - diver filmed underwater issues for me to forward to shipyard - pulled and reinstalled 2 propellers in water (also came back 2 weeks later to check for key binding ... I didn't even have to ask!!! -found a tiny latch hook I dropped in the water and put in my dock box... big Thanks for that one! -Stopped cleaning when they noticed I had fresh paint on the bottom. They are friendly and I know them by name now which feels good!
