Food was good, environment was superb, the low rating was because of our experience with a Karen who was also dining on the day. We were on the patio and it started to rain, my friend and I rushed our food underneath the covered bar area, the second I did that, she jumped out of nowhere and said "you can't leave your food here they don't allow that!". She said it with a tone like she just caught me committing a crime. I thought she was a waitress but she was just being extra. I said "we have to get everything out of the rain first, I still need to eat it." Then she gave me a hostile stare, I could care less. later she picked on something else I don't have a whole day to elaborate. We always like to seat outside and enjoy the breeze (not always the case in SF) the hubby ordered the oysters, I had the buffalo shrimp which is my favorite thing to order. For main dish I tried the new lobster burger, I was excited to try it but was not a fan. The bacon overpowers the lobster flavor. So it tasted a little salty for my taste. But then again, I don't use too much salt ever. Therefore for some people it might be ok. Next time I'll just stick to my avocado salad with mahi. Okay wow I was actually really impressed with the food and service here at Quarterdeck. I used to always turn them down whenever it was an option to go here but I will no longer do that. The view from our table was absolutely beautiful. Our server was Janton and he was really helpful with recommending some great options on the menu. We ended up sharing the lobster Mac n cheese balls. It brought 4 decent sized balls which were so good and that aioli sauce that they came with was amazing. For my entree I got the lemon pepper chicken pasta which was packed with flavor. The chicken was tender and juicy and very lemony which I loved. We were very satisfied with our food and the service was great. Will definitely stop by next time I'm at Dania beach. read more

We decided to come here for lunch since it's a beautiful location and you can see the Dania beach coast from anywhere. We sat outside to enjoy the weather and had the most phenomenal service by Emmet, our waiter. He made incredible recommendations for drinks and food. Everything was spot on delicious food and refreshing drink. I'll make sure to ask for him next time we come back for sure! This was a fun little beach place to check out while tracking through the area. First things first- not the cleanest place but I get it, it's a beach restaurant. But menus should be wiped down at the very minimum. We were the first table in on a Sunday morning and several menus still had food on them probably from the night before. That was a turn off. But, that said, everything else was great. Emmett was the server and he was knowledgeable and accommodating. Food was pretty good! Loved my burger, and the calamari and Buffalo shrimp was fantastic. The view is nice, the service is friendly, and the portions are large for the price. The tables were sticky and the food mediocre at best. I had the lobster ravioli and got no hint of lobster. Others had the coconut shrimp which was pretty good and large in quantity but the sweet potato fries were basically inedible...either undercooked or old or both. A chicken pasta dish ordered by my buddy was good. I don't think I would go again. The menu is not what I would expect from a seafood bar on the pier. This location is a such a huge plus. Really beautiful and right on the ocean. It was a Sunday so of course it was super busy. We arrived around 2:30pm or so. I was already starving. There was a wait for the tables inside and outside. We decided to just order by the bar with no wait to be seated. It was so backed up we didn't get our order until 3:15pm or so. I ordered the fish tacos and my friend had a hamburger. It wasn't specified that there was cheese on the tacos on the menu so unfortunately I had to take it back since I don't eat dairy. I can't say it's one of my favorites or a place I would ever recommend, but it is in a great location and that is what keeps me coming back. There are very few restaurants that are located on a pier. The view with your meal is unbeatable. The food on the other hand is just okay. I've never truly enjoyed a meal, taste-wise, at Quarterdeck. In fact the only food item that I've even loved is their clam chowder. Everything else that I have tried (sushi, dolphin reuben, burgers) has just been alright. This Quarter deck is a bar and grill restaurant right on the beach on a pier overlooking the ocean. They have the option of in door or outdoor seating. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I got the poke bowl. You can choose between rice or noodles, I got the noodles with the chose of tuna, salmon, shrimp and crab. I got the salmon and tuna. They had a variety of sauces it was so hard to choose but I chose the poke sauce it complemented the bowl very well. It was very good it was fresh and refreshing especially on a hot day. And if you never had a poke bowl it's like a sushi salad. After we were done we just went under the pier and joyed the rest of the day on the sand. read more

Updated today Sept 3rd. Placed an order yesterday. Spent $150 it was to go yesterday. Couldn't do it on any type of online menu (like every other restaurant) they are so backwards with their technology... I had to do it all over the phone. I must've been on the phone for 20 minutes explaining what I wanted how I wanted it. Then how many of them I wanted, it's ridiculous! I don't know how you can run a business like that and survive....With Covid people are wanting takeout food and your restaurant being at the mercy of lockdowns again, your website is primitive to say the least... So why don't you fix your website? Why not put your menu online so people can order exactly what they want and not have to pick up the phone and talk to a high school kid to place an order?
