This place was terrible. It was our first stop on a girls trip, and started our trip very low. As soon as we got there we asked the hostess how long it would be for a table, and if there was anything available outside. She told us no, and we asked if there was anything else in the area, and the response was "you're not listening to me, I said you can sit inside, but there's a wait for the outside." We wanted to sit outside and asked for that from the start. So we head inside to see what it's like, and walk to the back of the restaurant where there's more outdoor seating.... Surprise surprise there's another hostess, and she was very nice! Sat us right away at an open table. Now we're outside, ready for drinks and good meal! Our waitress was no where to be found.... Poor girl was all alone for the back and was swamped with work. We ordered our drinks and got margaritas. They tasted like gas.... The margarita that has burned sage, or something similar to it, stay clear. All you taste is the gas fluid. Onto the food. Cheese fries are a joke, literally microwaved cheese on top of fries (and to add on it was maybe 10 fries). Calamari was chewy and not fresh. Only good thing was the Buffalo shrimp, and the spinach and artichoke dip was decent. I wouldn't recommend this spot, to be quite honest bring a lunch with you to the beach or travel a little ways further. read more

Bartenders here do a fantastic. Job at service in a friendly manner. The food was on point and wide selection of bar type foods as well as options for Poke bowls or sushi. They have a sushi station in the back inside. The views here are amazing and for the price of drinks and food you can't beat it in south Florida. You simply cannot beat the location of this place. I'd grown up going to Dania beach and there was always some weird restaurant in this location, so I was thrilled when Quarterdeck moved in because it is a down to earth, local joint where people can actually go and enjoy themselves after a day at the beach. Being out on the pier, the restaurant has big windows and every seat has a fabulous view of the ocean. The back patio is surrounded by ocean so you feel like you're on a cruise ship deck. They also know how to make drinks. When I was there on a Sunday afternoon their house wine was a double pour, and their pina coladas are heavenly. Smooth, not too sweet, oh so yummy.. Their sushi chef at this location is great, so the sushi is amazing and fresh. I always just get the veggie roll and and avocado roll, which isn't on the menu, but they can do. read more

Unfortunately, the place is kind of ran down, so the atmosphere is not as good as it could be. Food and service are good, and they have a good sushi menu in addition to the standard seafood fare. I've been a big fan of Quarterdeck and this location has a big plus.....it's right over the ocean at the Dania Beach Pier. There is a huge parking lot and parking is about $2.00 an hour. They have indoor and outside patio seating with a full bar inside and out. You can walk right up the pier ramp or catch the elevator that brings you right to the front door. It's a great place to bring out of town guests and drink & dine with beautiful scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Dania Beach. For our recent visit it was a beautiful fall day & we wanted to eat outside. There were several empty outdoor tables & high-tops; however the hostess was really frazzled & she told us she had no idea how long a wait would be. She also was complaining to any nearby staff that would listen how there needed to be 2 hostesses outside. We went to the bar and ordered drinks on our own. After we had drinks we went back over to the hostess area, and she told us to just sit wherever we wanted. Our server, Dylan, was quick to approach & bring us some water. Our party of 4 all ordered food. 2 people ordered sushi that came with a ginger salad. Another ordered an entree salad, and I ordered a side salad and edamame. I requested my salad cone out with the other salads; however my side salad and edamame didn't come out until everyone else had received their entire food orders. The side salad was just ok and the edamame was an ample portion and pretty good. My husband said his bento box sushi was good and he really liked the ginger salad. They did have my favorite beer, Bud Light Lime, but the service and food were good; not outstanding on this visit. What keeps Quarterdeck at Dania Pier a solid 4 rating is the location! read more

Service and food were great, however this place has a musty odor and needs a good cleaning! During my visit there were mostly locals. Ordered the jambalaya and it was well seasoned and full of flavor! Also had spinach dip and it was also pretty good! Drinks were pretty good! read more

You have to pay for parking, and its worth it! I have been a few times and its always been a great spot to stop in. Last weekend was no exception. We had been Kayaking most the morning and decided it was time to eat and have a drink too. There is a couple other spots on or near the beach, but Quarterdeck seemed the place to go. We knew they didn't open till 11am, so no breakfast, but we timed it right that we got there as they opened. Outside was nice, but the Air conditioning at the inside bar was where I wanted to be. We owned the place as they had just opened which was nice. there was a lot of people working the place already, and all were in good spirits and joking around. it's always a good sign when despite working early on the weekend people seem to be cool with their work environment. the view was really nice, even though we sat inside. We could see the people fishing all along the pier, and just soaking up the sun and spray in general. I made a mental note to take out-of-towners here next time people flew in. I got the Turkey club, which came out in just a few minutes. it was fantastic, not to mention the crispy goodness of the tater tots. it was one of those meals and moments that was darn near perfect. We took a friend yesterday at 1:30 for lunch, got the menu and asked for the lunch menu. He stated the lunches were on the menu and no lunch specials. I wasn't in the mood to argue since I have ordered off the lunch specials before so we ordered a burger and turkey club. The burger was decent but overcooked and not nearly as good as their sister company's hamburger. Very disappointing when I went on their website that clearly showed the lunch special menu. read more

It has been a couple of years since my husband and I have had dinner here, and I'm happy to say that this most recent experience was even better than the first! I was unaware of being able to order several items that weren't on the physical menu. It was great for me because of food allergies. I ordered grilled mahi mahi, a side salad, and french fries. Delicious!! My husband loved his dish as well. Also, we really appreciated the attentiveness of our server, Sydney. She said she was new at the restaurant, but she seemed to do quite well in covering all her tables and making sure everyone had what they needed. Hello to the best lunch view EVER. We came here in between leaving a cruise and catching a flight 7 hours later. I knew I wanted to be near the beach and grave a bite to eat and stay a while.... well this choice was one of the best I ever made " on the fly " !!! Right on the pier at Dania beach is where it is- a wonderful full bar and nice sized deck that totally overlooks the ocean- it's the next best thing to bring right in the water! The view and atmosphere itself would be enough to bring any beach lover here. But the actual bonus is, the food drink and service were just as amazing. First of all, our waiter had a great personality, he was kind and very helpful with any questions we had about the menu. Also, we stayed seated on this deck ordering little bits here and there for hours, as we had a long way to go for our flight and were just enjoying the view so much - he did not mind AT ALL and we were just having a great time. Food: we got the smoked fish spread which is our favorite Floridian appetizer! We asked for a side of jalapeños and chopped red onion to make it how we normally get it in St. Pete. Excellent ! Next we got grilled shrimp, very nice.. we subbed out grilled shrimp for the fried buffalo shrimp they had on the menu- although I wish we would have just gotten it as it was supposed to be- another table next to us had it and it just looked awesome. We tried the conch and octopus app, that was pretty good if you are into that.. and for dessert we had key lime tart & chocolate mousse pie. (The menu says there is something chocolate and something key lime every day- exactly what it is will vary!) As far as drinks, we had a bucket of something like a rum runner, tried different beers, and then this amazing blue green drink that I forget the name of. Enjoyed my first visit at this location for a date night a few weeks back. I went to a different Quarterdeck many years ago and didn't find it so memorable. However, this location was impeccable. If I were to complain about anything it would be that you have to pay for public parking, due to the restaurant being on the beach, which runs you $5 an hour. Only complaint about the actual restaurant was that the portion for the calamari was a bit underwhelming for $20. Otherwise, we received great service; the hostess added our name to the waitlist only causing us to wait for an inside seat for about 15-20 minutes. The waiter was warm and friendly. The main course was to die for, the lobster Mac n Cheese as well as the Ribs were marvelous. I consider myself a connoisseur of ribs and let me tell you, these were fall off the bone, perfectly melt in your mouth, flavorful ribs. As you can tell by the picture I didn't even think to take a picture until they were already devoured. I got half a rack of ribs with half a dozen shrimp; the shrimp were average-sized, fried and breaded. The shrimp were nice but no match for the ribs, but I decided to get them because I like having a variety. Nevertheless, the ribs were THAT good that I will be getting just the full rack next time. The Lobster Mac n Cheese, which my partner got, was absolutely scrumptious and hot. The sweet potato fries were excellent and to top it off my salad was fresh and tasty. This was one of my best outings in quite some time. The location is beautiful and you can even walk out to the pier for a few bucks afterwards or on the inter-coastal for free. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't give this Quarterdeck a go. read more

The service is horrible here. We were only a party of two waiting for one table. The hostesses and servers were extremely rude. Additionally, they almost refused to clean one table, then said that the waiter was not available, when she was right there. We ended up leaving because they said that they were going to put us on a wait list after we had already waited a while for a table to open up. People that came after us and had larger parties were already getting seated. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

I haven't been there since before covid. We always try to find water settings to eat at while we in Florida and this one fits the bill. Emmet or server was rock star! The place was busy with wait staff hustling and he didn't miss a beat. Food was great koolaids were fantastic. They had changed the back patio since u was last there, instead of open sky and umbrellas they had a roof which didn't take away from the scenery at all. Great few of the water and the beach! What a nice view; this place is located right before the fishing pier starts. Went here for drinks and ended up bailing quickly due to the lack of social distancing at their outdoor tables. There were people sitting almost on top of each other; it was very uncomfortable for us. Perhaps we will try it again at a quieter time, or when the pandemic calms down. read more
