JP was wonderful and sent a beautiful Tres Leches Cake to sort out the confusion. He's always friendly and trains his staff with precision. Sammy made a beautiful Mango Caliente Margarita drink and I enjoyed a shot of Casa Amigos Reposado with lime served neat. I can say it was relaxing to be there and enjoy the beautiful architectural elements of the bar and restaurant. My hope is the owners will add a little live entertainment to pick up the vibe and create some excitement, and renew the buzz.

The drinks were really good with fun names, it was hard to decide which I'd make my first! A great place to visit and enjoy a good drink.

She was rude and came off really disrespectful, and at one point said things that felt degrading. It made my boyfriend so uncomfortable that he actually left and went outside just to get away from it. Instead of calming things down, she got more aggressive and tried to intimidate me and my friend into leaving. She straight up told us to go and wouldn't even let me finish my martini. I had a long week and just wanted to relax, and that moment felt so unnecessary and frustrating. We still love Kitsch Bar, but that experience with Sofia was not okay and definitely left a bad impression. Hopefully it's not something others have to deal with.

As the night went on Kitsch Bar proves to be the hot spot I've heard about and I agree!

When we arrived, there was a short line, but per the reservation instructions, one of my friends went in to check in while we waited outside. Friend: Hi, I'm checking in for a reservation. Bartender: What time is your reservation. Friend: 10 Bartender: What time is it now? Friend: 9:45 Bartender: Then I'll see you at 10pm. Friend came back annoyed and explained what happened. The bartender didn't say it in a joking way, but with attitude and annoyance. Most staff would respond "Thank you for checking in, we will let you know when your table is available." We weren't going to let this ruin our night, so we waited and were seated by the hostess. The bar itself is dimly lit and very tight. The music was loud enough that we had to almost yell to hear each other. The waiter came by soon after and was extremely friendly. We said we'd been here a few times before, but it's been a while. He refreshes our memory by saying they specialize making variations of classics. They want customers to focus on the flavors and that's why the menu doesn't list the spirit in their drinks. Also, they only make drinks on the menu because their drinks are prebatched/premade. We ask for recommendations which he was happy to give. We each order a drink and a snack for the table. As we're talking (very loudly so we can hear each other), we lose track of time before we realize that it's been 20 minutes and we haven't gotten our drinks yet. For something that's prebatched, it shouldn't take long. Before we can flag down the waiter, he comes by and apologizes that they lost our order and had to put it back in. We appreciate the honesty and say it's no problem. 5 minutes later, our drinks and food arrives. He again apologizes for the wait and has a second order of our food that he's including for free. Honestly we were ok with just the apology, but extra food too? Hell yea. Sounds like it was turning around. The drinks were okay. Not amazing, but definitely above average 3.8 / 5. The snack, bread and butter, were surprisingly good. 4.5 / 5 When we asked for the check, the waiter brought the credit card reader and told us we can swipe our card any time and left it on our table. We look at the bill and realize the waiter not only gave us the 2nd snack for free, but comp'd 2 of the drinks also. We all agree this waiter is GREAT. So why the 2 stars? Well first let me say, I would leave it at 1 star, but the waiter definitely earned them another. We wanted to pay cash, so we waited for him to come back. Instead, the original rude bartender comes by and realizes we haven't paid yet. We ask if we can pay with cash. He explains that they don't accept cash. Friend: Are you sure? *Proceeds to try to insert cash into the chip reader slot* Bartender: You're pretty stupid, aren't you? Friend: Maybe if I swipe it instead *Doubles down and proceeds to swipe the cash through the magnetic strip reader* Bartender: Wow, you really are stupid. My friend is a 100% a goofball and having fun with the bartender. It was OBVIOUS that he was joking. Was it funny? A little. Was it stupid? 100%. But for the bartender or ANY customer service staff to call a paying customer "stupid", that's simply unacceptable. We're all pretty pissed at this point and simply swipe the card and the bartender leaves. As I said earlier, we've come here a few times. We don't live especially close, but when we're in the area, we would always consider coming here. Now, there's no chance. For any business, even if your drinks and food are great, customer service can easily DESTROY your experience and that's exactly what the bartender did. Note to the male bartender with no hair: You really shouldn't be interacting with customers. You were rude from the start and have no sense of humor. Could you be having a bad day? Sure, but that's not an excuse to be rude to customers. I know management saw my original post because it was removed, probably because I referred to the bartender by his hairstyle (or lack thereof) multiple times. If they rather remove my post than deal with their bartender, that's another sign to avoid this place.

Executive Chef Miriam Ramirez brings to light the finest Northern Italian cuisine, tailor-made for California palates. They even stock my favorite Cognac Hennessy XO." All drinks are Masterly crafted by mixologist Ron. I Love his Espresso Martinis! He's extremely talented and one of the nicest bartenders around. I love how he always makes us feel welcome. I have been an employee at Quattro cafe for over ten years now and I can honestly say I would not work for a company or manager I was not completely behind or proud to represent. I regularly read our Yelp reviews because I care what our customers have to say and are willing to make improvements where it is needed. Sadly people are more likely to write something negative than positive. But we all try to get those positive ones and it's really great when we do. I felt the need to write this review because reading a recent review from A former colleague didn't sit right with me not only do I think it's not right to tear down someone's character it's not right to do so when you don't really know that person. Dominico is the reason a lot of people come in and feel at home he puts his soul and energy in that place and has a huge heart for his employees. I can say from experience he has given me chances when no one else would and I consider him family. Anyone who comes into Quattro and knows him knows that those statements are false. But if you don't believe me please come in and see for yourself I know me and dominico would love to serve you! read more

This place has truly LOST ITS LUSTRE. I used to come here all the time with my family or friends while shopping, and the italian dishes used to have such amazing flavor, and the service used to be quite impressive.The last two times I came here, the food was lacking flavor and no longer tasted the way it used to. The food came out late, cold and totally flavorless. The service was also lacking, and the waitors were inattentive. One of the employees who picked up plates from our table ended up spilling tons of olive oil and vinegar all over and inside a shopping bag with brand new clothes. The manager was hardly receptive, and could hardly apologize for the incident. She insisted that we "just take 'em home and wash 'em and see what happens." She even had a sour attitude and a lack for customer service. We will never come back there, and i would definitely not recommend this place. PERFECT place for lunch or dinner!! The service was quick and the staff were all nice, friendly, and clean (I'm a clean freak/germaphobe) . Although the restaurant is small, I still felt like I had enough privacy to catch up with my friend without the whole world knowing our business. The bread they serve at the beginning was very good with or without the dip that they bring with it, and even better was the Spaghetti Bollgnese that I ordered. I can eat for days so of course I was still hungry and asked to see a dessert menu. Turns out they only have a dessert cart, so our waiter rolled the dessert cart over and our jaws literally dropped. We couldn't settle on one, so I got the Flourless Chocolate Cake and my buddy got the Tiramisu. BOY were we in a food coma afterwards, but it was so worth it. I went here with a group of friends tonight for dinner. I had the calamari which was good, then the filet migon for dinner which was also decent except for the fact that there was a hair in my food. I gave this such a harsh rating because I was so disappointed with the service. I asked to speak with the manager because of the hair in my food. This took him at least a good 20 minutes or longer to come to the table (which also made me more upset) I do not blame the chef, or the server (The poor kid probably felt so horrible and stressed because the manager took forever) Let me add that the restaurant was not even busy! So I have no idea what took him so long, unless he was scared to speak with me but hey, it is your job! would not come here again. I would suggest Maggianos which is across the way. read more

Quattro and their staff are racist!!!!! I would put zero stars if there was an option. Don't go. They are racists and their hostess Bianca or Blanca is racist too with an attitude!!!! This happened on 11/21/20 Long story short, my mom and I were waiting to get seated, were told it would take 15mins but noticed many people after us (non asians and including parties of 2) were getting tables before us. When asked why people who got there after us were getting seated first, the hostess Bianca or Blanca said I could leave if I didn't want to wait and walked away. WTF She clearly looked down on us because we are Asians and didn't even have the decency to explain politely!!! It's unacceptable that such a business is at South Coast Plaza and hires such ignorant people to work there. read more

the food is decent, but not enough to bring me back after the horrible customer service. had a server who i think was named pascual who was so inconsiderate! I WOULD NEVER GO BACK because of this server. completely rude and rolled his eyes at me when i asked for more bread! I used to work in restaurants before and i always try to be extremely kind to my servers but i honestly would not go back because of him. on top of that, one of the managers came to the table and did absolutely nothing. i was so disappointed that i wanted to find who the owner was to complain further. but i think it does more justice if i NEVER return and give a horrible review on yelp. to give you all a heads up, the food its good BUT over priced and the management and that one server are horrible. read more

Quattro Cafe was the perfect spot to recharge after a day of exploring and shopping. The staff was attentive and kind, and the food... oh, the food was absolutely incredible! We indulged in a freshly made Margherita pizza and a flavorful Bistecca Sandwich--both were simply to die for. The pizza was prepared to perfection, and when I shared my compliments with our server, they went above and beyond by relaying them to the chef. To my delight, Chef Miriam herself came out to greet us at our table! Such a personal and thoughtful touch made the lunch outing even better. A heartfelt thank you to Chef Miriam for running the kitchen like a well-oiled machine and for creating dishes that are both delicious and memorable. Ooooooooohhhh...the food is so good here, but the service can be a little hit or miss. Especially with the guys who have worked there for forever. I always feel like they're doing me a favor by letting me in, and I've been eating here since it was Armani Cafe about 10 years ago. Maybe that's why there's never a wait? Either way the filet mignon keeps calling me back, and they have La Crema Pinot Noir on their menu, which is so yummy! Just make sure to ask your waiter to bring the check with your entree, and think of ANYTHING you might possibly need when you place your order. Totally worth it if you know how to work around the staff ;-) And the creme brulee rivals the creme brulee at Gulliver's, which I think is the best around!! read more

Went in for the second time. 3 tables(6 people) got up and walked out within 5-10 minutes. When you walk in you are not greeted or acknowledged. We waited 10 minutes for a menu. They weren't even that busy. I've waited tables/tended bar, they were not "slammed" by any means. After waiting for about 15-20 minutes for our food, we decided we'd just like to take it home. Not a huge request. The server didn't even put our order in! And the manager, an Italian guy with attitude. By the way, this is the second time this has happened at this location. We walked out after that. The food and prices are average, but the service is probably some of the worst I've experienced. This likely is a problem the starts at the top. read more

I ordered the linguine with clams and was delighted to find that the clams were incredibly fresh and added a great flavor to the dish. The sauce was delicious and complemented the tender clams perfectly, and it was great that all the items I ordered weren't too salty. The calamari was also cooked nicely, with a crispy exterior and a tender interior. The risotto was creamy and filled with flavorful ingredients, and the portions were generous. Me and my husband have been coming here for quite a few years now. We actually got engaged at their sister location Antonellos, another great restaurant. But Quattro is definitely my favorite because it is a little more intimate yet casual without loosing the great dining experience. Staff is always amazing. Everyone out on the floor to the back of the house where all the magic happens. Dominico is always the best host of making sure everyone is taken care of. Food always meets our expectations whether we are grabbing a quick bite, date night or dinner with friends. A must try at the end of every meal is their espresso martini. I recently had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant for the first time. This is South Coast Plaza gem ! I am so glad we decided to eat here because the calamari here is amazing and I haven't stopped thinking about in ever since we ate here last week. Our waiter's name was a younger guy (maybe mid to late 20's) named Jose. He is the perfect example of how great customer service should be in any restuarant. He was professional, courteous and quick. My first review on YELP! My experience was that amazing I signed in. I went to a special cooking demo event with 24 other women and it was indescribably wonderful. The host and entertainer Domenico led the evening of festivities. He demonstrated how to make stuffed mushrrooms, vodka pasta chicken Picatta and most delicious Tirimasu- we were able to take home the recipes. He sang between courses and there was a wonderful guitarist playing. We all worked off the calories at the end of the evening by dancing in the middle of the restaurant! So I have now been to Quattro Caffe` 2 times. Both times have been a complete disaster. I was terribly surprised by how awful the service was. So sadly and woefully disappointed! I had been looking so forward to my birthday dinner here. I'm crossing this one off my list. It was all about the service -- or lack thereof. I went to this restaurant for lunch on Saturday, and I must say, it has become my new favorite place. The lunch I had was fantastic. Our server, Boubou, was very welcoming, attentive, and helpful. She guided us through the menu and gave us some great suggestions. The customer service was exceptional, and towards the end of our meal, the manager, Dominico, came to say hello and check on us. He was very pleasant and made us feel special. The atmosphere, staff, and food were delightful, and I can't wait to go back again. read more

We decided to stop here since we were already in the area, and unfortunately we wish we hadn't. The food tasted old, as if it had been prepared days in advance. While the service was initially friendly, the server made an error on our bill and tried to cover it up instead of being upfront and correcting it. The salads were not fresh, and to top it off, I was charged $50 for a basic lettuce salad with salmon. I've never paid that much for such a simple salad. First of all, let me just say... From the moment you walk or call in, you're greeted with the most amazing customer service. Since Italians are all about family, there's no lack of family environment here. They make everyone feel at home and comfortable. The food is always top notch! I do not know why this review has been removed, I hope yelp would understand that customers should be free to tell their experience Well...Used to be my second favorite restaurant in Orange County. With the menu and staff... Had a reservation. Took people without a reservation before us. Horrible processes. Left before eating. Very arrogant people. My guess...one has to be "important" to be treated as a patron. The manager was terrible and did not give us good service. read more

The pasta was al dente which is critical for any pasta dish. The sauce was well seasoned, rich, and creamy. Overall, the food was delicious and the service was attentive and knowledgeable. She was lovely, very apologetic, and clearly doing the best she could under the circumstances. She explained that they were very short-staffed tonight. The hostess was also incredibly sweet and welcoming. I completely understand that staffing issues happen, and I don't blame Camryn at all, but waiting an hour for cold food and having drinks and basic service overlooked made for a pretty disappointing dinner. Hopefully tonight was just an off night because the staff we interacted with were genuinely lovely. The patio was nice, and they allow dogs outside. Unfortunately, we're stopping for food on the way home.

Nevertheless, the restaurant was gorgeous. Our server however, was a bit short and left us waiting quite a few times to the point to where we had to ask other servers to assist us. Nothing major but we sat without things like utensils, napkins, etc. We'd also ordered a few drinks and waited a while for those to come as well. Our order was also wrong when brought out, but we didn't make a fuss. Also the restrooms were super small and crowded as well as SUPER humid. There were also these weird pictures of men sitting on the toilets which was pretty disturbing to be in a women's restroom. Idk it was pretty distasteful especially considering this is supposed to be a nicer restaurant. It was a nice spot for aesthetic IG pics. Overall I don't think I'll be coming back, but it was a cool spot to try I guess.

The pappardelle funghi is our go to along with the rigatoni buttera. I really enjoy the creaminess of both sauces and the variation in taste. Although I'm not a big fan of sausage, the rigatoni buttera is so good that I'm willing to order it regardless. As for desserts, the rosemary lemon pannacotta here is some of the best I've had and I enjoy getting a cup whenever we order here. Would highly recommend stopping by if you're up for richer flavors.

Think of this as a full service night out. Caveat: I got caught in the OC Fair traffic which wasn't fair at all. Once I Wazed to the parking lot I walked in and a Staffer measured my level of angst and suggested I take deep breaths while he lead me to my table in a small cozy dining room. The Decor: An enlarged map of the Autostrada where you can go really fast while dining really slow. Thankfully, there was no blaring loop of Dean Martin telling you what happens when the Moon hits your eye like a big Pizza Pie. Water and wine are offered as soon as you've made your nest. Settle in as the frenetic rush remains outside. You're on Italian time here. This family owned place emphasizes enjoying a leisurely lovely meal of dishes you'll recognize. Filomena's is an O. G. style Red Checkered Table Cloth restaurant with no table cloths. Why should the owners pay for endless laundry even if it is next door. So, when you splash Sunday Gravy (Marinara with meat and plenty of meat drippings) that will never come out of your fancy scoop neck blouse no matter what you try and how much you cry. So, come as casual as you can without being indecent. Who're dining with you? Regulars and those who haven't been regular in years. The Staff: Efficient. My guy took my table's order before going to handle the Girls Night Out party of 22 in the private dining room. "If we don't put your order in now the kitchen will get slammed and you'll wait half an hour for your appetizers and then write a crappy review". The Food: There is an ambitious menu here featuring all things an Italian family would enjoy. In fact, any family would enjoy the classics served here. The large menu offers the usual suspects. All the pasta is house made along with all the Sauces, albeit, most of the Sauces are laced with Cream. Go ahead, show your arteries who's really runnin' the show. The Calamari Fritti was a solid choice. A good sized pile of hands, feet and rings served with Lemon Wedges for the purists and a cup of slightly spicy thick Marinara. The Calamari kept is crackling crispy crunch from the first tubular slice to the last tentacle that reached out. Often Calamari Fritti is good for two bites before it turns into a soggy sponge. Not here as the fry cook knows how to make this just right every night. The added plus is that the portions are heroic and suitable for any Roman Centurion. The Pappardelle with Bolognese consisted of long wide nicely cooked flat noodles with a serious pour of meaty Ragu over the whole works. If you're a giver, there is enough to share with two others. The Wedding Soup came in a bowl you could bathe a German Shepherd in. It began with Carrots, Celery and Onions, floating in a Consomme along with a handful of small light Meat Balls. Forget the wedding night, and just order a second bowl of Soup. The Garlic Bread that came with the Soup was nothing to write home or you about, for that matter. The Bread is outsourced and best for mopping anything you've eaten before the busser shows up to collect the plates. The Linguini Vongole featured Manila Clams in the shell and lots of Clam bits. The Linguini was perfectly cooked and stood up well to the the pleasant Clam chew. This version is what Clam Pasta can be and most often falls short of the mark. The Chicken Parmesan was a Breast pounded thin, breaded, fried and then buried under a chunky Maranara Sauce with a layer of melted Mozz as thick as your favorite flannel shirt. The whole thing was the size of a hub cap. At Filomena's you'll eat like battalions of Italians. I'll be back and I Filomean it.

Our table ordered a variety of menu items and cocktails with our meals. Everyone enjoyed and shared amongst our group.
