Very convenient location as they're at the 505 and I-89 on Ramos nearby. It's walking distance from a hotel and has plenty of parking. The staff is very nice and I didn't realize it's a Chipotle business model where guy build it as you walk down the line. Que Onda offers MORE options than Chipotle when it comes to toppings so you can really get creative. The other thing that separates Que Onda from Chipotle is that they have traditional taqueria offerings AND daily specials!!! $10 for a torta on Fridays? Yes please! I decided to get a mango pico de gallo since I opted with the al pastor.and I'm not sure how the lady wrapped this ginormous burrito...true talent. You will pay up front after building your food and then there's a ton of seating in a traditional taqueria atmosphere. $16 for a burrito is a bit of sticker shock but you're getting taqueria quality good with the design it your way option so it's a worthy cost adder in my opinion. Whether you're headed back to your car or dining in, you will surely enjoy YOUR creation!

THIS SPOT IS IN VACAVILLE BY THE OUTLETS!!!! Good Mexican food In Vacaville. THATS CRAZY FOO! yo this spot is located near the Vacaville outlets. It's in a lil lot so there is parking, and has indoor and outdoor seating. They do have the OG food banners outside to help reel you in so you won't miss it. Let's start with the food, been here a few times and the food is always fresh and good. Everything has flavor, the Carnitas are good not too oily, Birria tacos on point and the servings are perfect. They have plenty of add ons to help color your plate, you can dress up your taco like a piñata if you want. Also a good selection of CAARRRNNNEESS!!(MEATS) the tacos and burritos are my mains. THE MICHELADAS ARE ALSO A BIG PLUS. Main thing you want at a Mexican restaurant is to not leave hungry...and this place has got that DOWN. Next thing I have to try here is the Pescado frito(Fried Fish) VIBE. SPANISH music on the speakers perfect for the atmosphere just adds to the taste of your Carnitas. The place is decorated nicely. Makes you feel welcomed, whatever and whoever you are they have an open seat waiting for you. The workers, the Manager has got the charisma "Sangre liviana" he'll start a convo with you and do his rounds, while he's serving up! Come check them out show them some love. You won't leave disappointed or hungry.

We went back to try it again and most of my original review stands. This time we got nachos and loaded fries. The fries were seasoned waffle fries which I wasn't expecting. But the nice thing is they hold a lot of toppings. The nachos were good, however I wish they had put more queso on. They did put some queso on the plate which was good. But half of the chips that were on the top were dry. Their queso is quite good so more would've taken the nachos to the next level. The portion sizes are generous though. It's definitely enough to share. I would not suggest getting the Jamaica. It didn't taste homemade. It tasted more like it was from a mix or something like that. However the self serve lemon and cucumber water is a nice touch. Service was good. When we were done eating outside one of the ladies was cleaning the table. When she noticed that we were taking some food to go, she brought us a bag without asking.

A must-try restaurant. Stumbled across this hidden gem. The food is fresh, hot and delicious. I love all of the options. We ordered burritos and the sign said, anyway you like them. So for the extras I put grilled jalapeños and Cajita cheese, and grilled onions. Try the carne Asada burrito. Also try the Chile Relleno. The staff was great, they build a beautiful burrito with lots of food. Can easily eat for two meals. The restaurant is super clean and they offer a complimentary lemon water.

Warm jimaica. I have never had it warm before and it didn't taste great.

I ran over here to grab a quick bite before visiting my mother n law. I ordered some flautas, quesabirria and tacos for the family. They ran out of guacamole and it was if as it didn't matter. I like guacamole on my flautas. Thankfully, the guy eventually found some avocados and gave me a few slices. I was so grateful. They gave me refried beans instead of the pinto beans I ordered. I was trying to tell the guy not to take my plate away, judt put some pintos in a container. He took the plate and said they would give me a new plate. I told him I didn't want my flautas to get cold. He did not respond. When he came back he did not give my plate to me, he put it aside. Again, I told him my food was getting cold and I didn't want to eat cold food. I finally asked the young lady who rang us up to kindly give me the plate as I didn't want my food cold. She gave it to me. By the time I got to the table, my rice, beans and flautas were cold :( I didn't even feel like taking them back. It seemed like it was going to be too much trouble. The Jimaica drink I ordered was warm. I have always had it from a running fountain where it was chilled without ice. I have no idea where this one came from and I should have returned it. It didn't even taste that good. I did not care for the service here tonight. I did not feel the kindness as a patron. If I were to use just this visit, I would not come back here again.

Eaten here once so far - and both my coworker and I enjoyed what we got. They've got the same layout as the previous restaurant- with a new menu. Food was good and we sat inside. They also offer outdoor seating as well. Easy parking and our service was friendly and quick. We both ordered burritos and they were filling. Worth coming by and giving it a try.

Not too darned bad! I generally prefer Michoacán (like mamma made, if the waitress said it's like mom made in Michoacán your getting the best) This was definitely a California stylized baha venue. But lots of the venue items had options such as black beans or refried beans. I got a wet burrito, carne asada smothered in onions, jalapeño slices, beans and cheese wrapped in a tortilla. The meat was a little over cooked, the sauce and peppers we were great. The sauce was spicy , which zi love but had a little tangy flavor maybe lime ? I cleaned the plate so it was DELICIOUS. I DO RECOMMEND. The staff was friendly, and helpful. Tables and everything was clean. If I was to recommend anything, I'd say drop the black beans, go with a more Michoacán style sauce. I didn't see a chimichanga option so the can't get a 5 star. But its worth stopping in!

Patio seating area is nice but can get very noisy since they are right next to a main busy street. They make corn tortillas fresh and rolled right in front of you. First time here and found it easy to see what toppings to add to my bowl. The birria is really tasty and juicy when dipped in the soup

As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted as if you are their special guest or family. There is such a wide range of food to choose from and you can customize everything the way that you want to. They have the slogan "Have it your way" and you can with over 30 different toppings to choose from like their delicious mango pico. I love their tacos and yesterday I tried their quesabirria. The quesabirria was delicious. I love their chips which are warm and fresh and not greasy. The food is amazing and authentic. Their sign says it all "All you need is Love & Tacos!"

Visited on a Saturday night with a friend, about an hour before closing. The staff was friendly and happy to offer suggestions when asked. The spot was clean and welcoming. We ordered the California burrito with carne al pastor and the flautas. The California burrito was easily among the top 3 I've had in Northern California. The carne al pastor was full of flavor and paired perfectly with the seasoned fries. The flautas, on the other hand, were just okay. The chicken lacked some seasoning, and the rice was a bit too dry, though the refried beans were excellent. Overall, the service was great, and if I had to recommend one thing, it would definitely be anything with carne al pastor!

Yet another epic meal, in a welcoming environment, and stellar service from both the gentleman making our food and the sweet associate named Mariah who rang us up, and brought us our food and drinks. Adore that girl ...and love Que Onda, time and time again (see precious reviews). HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I'm sorry to write this, but something has fallen off in the transition from the Peabody and Alamo…read morelocation and the Nut Tree location. My evaluation is based on the pollo verde--which was an outstanding flavor at the prior location. I ordered a burrito and there is no flavor in this sauce. It's practically inedible, honestly. Having been a regular at the Peabody location, this is a shocking departure, and I can only assume there was a loss in talent back of the house in the transition. But since a restaurant is only as good as its food, this is a significant loss. I hope something changes, it's wild to have to close the clamshell on a Villa Corona pollo verde burrito, but close it I must. edit: Thanking owner Carlos for his response, but I have to assume it's a different batch than the one I tasted Monday. I've been a big fan of Villa Corona for years and the Peabody location was my spot; but even then I had a strong preference for the pollo verde from that location over the Nut Tree. I'll stop in again for sure, but may have to try some of the sauce with chips before ordering.
