Delicious food. My favorite in town. Super burritos are always good. Wish they offered black beans but pinto are fine.

First time here, and I was blown away by how delicious and unique the tacos were. We ordered the Prime Taco Trio--three perfectly seasoned, tender cuts of steak with avocado, flavorful sauces, and crispy cheese. We also tried the lobster and shrimp tacos, which came with crispy cheese, avocado, and a buttery sauce. The tortillas were something special. They had a great bite and texture that really set these tacos apart. Even the tortilla chips were perfectly crispy, and the salsa was addictive. These are premium tacos, so expect to pay for the quality of the ingredients. I'm sure the rest of the menu is just as delicious, considering a line had formed and it was 8:30 p.m. Also, sure to try one of the aguas frescas or the horchata to wash it all down! read more

Landed in Vacaville and door dashed a super burrito and chips and guacamole. It arrived promptly. The burrito was huge. In the description it said it came with sauce on it. That wasn't the case. Also knowing it's a DoorDash order you would think they would include napkins and a plastic fork. Nope. Nada. It was still good. The guacamole was flavorful but the salsa was a little bitter. Had such a great and fast lunch with my friend here! We came in and were greeted and we looked over the menu and I decided on tacos and rice / beans. I have a gluten/ wheat allergy and they didn't know what had it or didn't and didn't take any extra precautions but I didn't have a reaction. The food was SOO good. Had so much flavor, packed full of meat and it was just delicious. I had the steak and pork street tacos. Inside the restaurant was extremely clean and ambiance was beautiful! This is my second time here... the gal working the register was super kind and patient while I made up my mind... the store was clean and easy get in and out of. I had their birria the first time and it was ok, but tonight I tried their breakfast burrito... I can't have eggs so I ordered without... it had asada, potato, cheese and sour cream a mouth full of flavor! It is huge so I cut it in half and saved the other half of it. The meat was tender, and full of flavor without all the fat... the potatoes to be fair was french fries lol but never the less it was good. The Birria tacos & their Carne asada burritos are sooo good! I have gotten takeout from here and eaten inside. Inside is clean, they are friendly and helpful. Didn't expect full service because you order at the front but they definitely gave it! Couldn't recommend this place enough. The tacos and burritos are stuffed with meat and ingredients. Finally got around to trying out Tequileros Taqueria today... we ordered off DoorDash because we are having a lazy Saturday, so I can't speak on the service. We ordered a carne asada super burrito (salsa on the side) and Birria Nachos, both to share. Our meal was delivered in a timely manner (20 minutes to our door, we live about five miles away for reference). Upon opening the bag, we saw the radishes and like in a bag and knew this place was going to be legit and not some white boy experience. Let me tell you, that burrito was fire! We both took our first bites and were like damn that's got flavor! The sauces on the side were amazing too. The nachos were good, but we longed for more cheese and could do without the beans, but they were still good. We will definitely order again, and look forward to trying some tacos. read more

The vibes inside are nice. If you do choose to dine here just know the wait time can be a bit long they do get busy. The michelada was good as well as the food. We got the steak fries and burrito. We both got the spicy salsa but if you like spice I personally think it wasn't spicy at all. The staff is nice and did let us know before ordering the approximate wait time. read more

Ordered take out from Tequileros Taqueria recently and was pleasantly surprised. The Super burrito, which I forgot to snap a pic of, was a fantastic deal for around $14. It was enormous and packed with rice, beans, cheese, and guacamole - so much so that we were able to split it into two full meals. While the two fish tacos were delicious, the fish portions were a bit small for the ~$5/each price. However, the grilled tortilla was a a nice touch. The mini quesadillas, on the other hand, were a great deal for just a few dollars! There was a generous amount of cheese in the quesadillas. Loved the chips and salsa but only wish the side of salsa was slightly bigger for the amount of chips. We will be back the next time we're in this area. Feed me tacos and tell me I'm pretty! I've eaten at the Tequileros locations in Elk Grove and Stockton quite a few times. I ALWAYS order ahead online, I recommend doing that to cut the wait time. If you're worried about modifications, you can do customizations when you order through their website. Between two visits I've gotten an asada burrito with double meat, a birria quesadilla, an asada quesadilla, and a horchata. The birria was okay, I'd try it again in a quesabirria or keto taco because that's what I should've done anyway - getting it in a quesadilla was an experiment lol. I haven't eaten inside, which is part of the reason I don't have many pics. I noticed that the asada at this location isn't seasoned as much as it as at the previous locations that I've tried, and the burrito seemed smaller (or less filled). This isn't my favorite location in the chain, but It's still good. It's definitely better than a lot of the other options in Vacaville. The food has tasted fresh, the customer service has been fine, & the parking is easy. I'm sure I'll be back for an asada quesadilla. read more

I have ordered the Super Burrito on three separate occasions, and unfortunately, I have experienced the same issue every time. The burrito is advertised as including sour cream and the restaurant's special sauce, but both have consistently been left out. On top of that, I have paid an additional $2 for guacamole, yet the guacamole has also been missing from my order. Today, I ordered the Super Burrito again and encountered the exact same problem. After looking through other reviews, it appears that I'm not the only customer experiencing these issues, which makes me question why this continues to happen. I'm not a particularly picky customer, but when items that are specifically included in the meal--or that I have paid extra for--are repeatedly missing, it becomes frustrating and disappointing. Unfortunately, after three separate experiences with the same issue, I will not be returning. I hope the restaurant addresses this problem because customers should receive what they order and pay for. read more

Tequileros Taqueria is EXTRA in the best way! Their base taco, Taco Tequileros, is made "mulita" style (taco with seared chrispy cheese on the outside) for $4 each! MY FAVORITE NUT TREE AREA EATERY. My sis and I also tried their "signature prime tacos" but you can't make GREAT 'better' so save the extra $5 upgrade each taco, and just order MORE of their 'Taco Tequileros' and tip your kitchen and counter staff another extra dollar. read more

I show up and check in they let me know it's nit ready.i wait 10 min and check the app, not done, I wait a few more and the app texts me my food should be done. I go inside to get it and the lady tells me it's not done. I wait several more minutes and again ask the lady if she can see how far out it is, she check and says they have not even started making my order. Had a great family lunch at Tequileros Taqueria in Vacaville on a Wednesday afternoon! We got burritos and a shrimp quesadilla, and the rice in the burritos was perfectly seasoned. Loved the great array of salsa options with different spice levels--my kids appreciated having milder choices available. The portions are huge, and the chicken seasoning was spot on too. I used to recommend this spot to anyone in the area because they were pretty good. However, I can't remember the last visit my family was happy with the food. In the past 5 orders, on top of messing items in the orders up, the quality has just tanked. The burritos used to be good and they used to grill the tortilla and have a lot of meat. Now you just get a soggy tortilla, hard beans, a bunch of rice and hardly any meat. Fish tacos used to be bomb, now you get the smallest piece of fish I have ever seen in a taco. They also don't include salsa with any call-in orders, when you ask for salsa you get one or two if your lucky. Don't waste your time. read more

On Aug 27, at approximately 1430, my toddler son and I walked into this establishment. Since the staff looked busy, I wanted to take my son to the bathroom first to freshen up, prior to us eating. As we were walking towards the back the one lady (staff from the kitchen) chased us down, to tell me that the restroom was "closed". I told her 'we are going to be ordering tacos as soon as we wash our hands'. She then turns to the guy in the back and starts telling him the situation in Spanish. I caught a glimpse of his eye roll and at this point, I don't want neither one of them making my food, so we left and went next door to Raising Canes. Where I come from, sit down restaurants are required to have functioning bathrooms available. When you first walk in.. it is definitely aesthetically pleasing to the eye! Very cute social media photo vibes. Very clean place and music in the background wasn't too loud where you can talk with your party. You order & get a number and they bring your food to you. Our gal at the front was very kind & gave great recs which we did go with. Prices was reasonable for the amount of meat you get on the tacos. $3 per taco + $1 extra for (grilled cheese & taquilero sauce). I had three tacos, two were regular Al Pastor and one was carne asada made Tequilero style . Nice portions on the meat. Meat was tender and flavorval. I favored the Al Pastor over the carne asada.
