Best taqueria in town, hands down! Since my wife and I tried this place, we haven't gone back to other ones, not even the one that's a 2 min walk from our house! Best carnitas I've ever had. My go to with super carnitas burrito and I make sure to get extra of the red salsa. My favorite salsa of all time, sometimes I stop by just to buy a container of salsa. Staff is always super friendly and welcoming too! My only complaint is their operating hours are a little inconvenient. Closed Sundays and the only days they're open past 4pm are THU-SAT, so I can only really go on those days with my work schedule. Still no way I give this any less than 5 stars. We came because my mom was in town and the yelp reviews said they have enchiladas Michoacanas, my mom's favorite. Her aunt made enchiladas in Michoacán, Mexico. I had a chile verde burrito and my husband had a burrito. Of the three of us, my mom loved her food the best. We did have a good dinner here and the ladies who brought out the food were kind and friendly. My chile verde burrito didn't really have much of the Chile verde sauce I was expecting. I ate part of the burrito and saved the rest for later. My husband ate it later and really liked it. They have some really interesting things on the menu and we would like to go back and try them out. I will note that it was a really hot day (over 100) and it was exceptionally warm in the restaurant. We should have taken the food to go. But everything was so good, we will be back! read more

This place serves some great tacos. I tried a few of the quesabirria tacos as well as some tripas tacos with the tripas cooked extra crispy. The homemade tortillas are great and the tacos were also great. There maybe could have been a little bit more consume with the quesabirria but still was a great meal. read more

Vacaville has no shortage of Mexican restaurants, but very few of them are good and authentic. Los Arcos seems to be both. Even though the menu is pretty standard for a taqueria, everything that we tried was fresh and tasted great. I've had their quesabirrias, which are surely among the best in town. Since this is downtown Vacaville, the parking can sometimes be scarce, but most of the times it's not bad. The only downside is that the location is very small inside and more suited for warmer weather. I will be back in few months and update the review once their patio is ready. read more

My son and I loved our burritos here. He had the veggie, I had the standard (with chicken). They were among the best I've ever had, and for mine it was partly because the chicken was cooked perfectly. Not too dry. If you don't like cilantro, ask them not to include it. The place is authentic. A college football game was playing on the tv, but the announcing was in Spanish, which my son and I loved. I stopped in Vacaville looking for quick bite. I love Mexican food. I located this nice little spot with outdoor seating on a quiet street. Counter service was quick with eat in or take out. I had street tacos which were delicious. A bit pricey though. Super burrito $15, tacos $3.75 each. Pros, fast service, outdoor seating, ample parking, and most importantly very tasty. I got home and was really impressed with both items! The shrimp tacos weren't skimpy on the shrimp like a lot of places. Had a nice 'cheese crust' on the taco shell. This is a really cute little taqueria and the staff is super friendly. The food was delicious, however, I couldn't give this place a higher rating because the first bite I took of my burrito there was a long black hair in it. And I get it, things happen, but that's also why they have things called hair nets. I came here on a road trip to get a last taste of civilization before heading into the wilderness, and the vampiros and and gorditas were an awesome way to say goodbye to city life. The place itself is very clean and looks exactly like a taqueria. If you picture a taqueria, Taqueria Los Arcos looks like it. They have Jarritos, Mexican coke, and all the typical tacos, burritos, and platos you'd expect. What caught my eye were the aforementioned vampiros (basically a grilled taco with cheese inside) and gorditas (stuffed fat corn tortillas). I was also happy that they had lengua (tongue) and suadero (brisket) on the menu, which are typically signs of a more authentic place. If all they have is carne asada and pollo, well, that's questionable. Anyway, I got 2 vampiros and 2 gorditas and wish I had also ordered some sopes and maybe a burrito. Because they were really good. The food totally hit the spot, the service is great, and the cost is appropriate. The meat was all cooked properly and well seasoned, and overall I'd definitely hit this place up a lot if I lived anywhere near Vacaville. They take credit cards and have a good sized parking lot so there's no real issues here. I could see seating getting a bit tight when it's crowded, but that's just what happens when a place is legit like this. If I'm coming back this way I'll make sure to starve myself first so I can eat even more off their menu. read more
