These folks are by far the best in the business. The spices? Perfect. The freshness? You can literally taste the love, the quality, and possibly a divine blessing in every bite. Their asada fries ruin all other asada fries for me. I can't even look at another order without feeling like I'm cheating on Shula Kitchen. And don't even get me started on the hay burrito. I could eat that thing every single day and never get tired of it. If I had to choose one food to eat for the rest of my life, I wouldn't hesitate--just wrap me in a Shula burrito blanket and call it a day. And parents, listen: if you've got picky eaters, they've got you covered. They serve fries and plain nuggies, aka the universal kid language for "I'll actually eat this and not make a scene." After watching a food blogger on Instagram do a nice review on Shula's, we thought about giving them a try. We only go on days when they're at the Monte Vista location. They post their weekly schedule on where the food truck will be stationed on Instagram and Facebook. At times, they may not be there as scheduled due to unforeseen circumstances and it's best to check on Facebook with any updates. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a regular chicken burrito. The burger was very delicious with the right seasonings and toppings, and the fries that came with it are so good with a crispy and light crunch to it; sort of like beer battered fries. The regular chicken burrito was tasty and filling. We enjoyed our meals and will return often to get our Mexican food fix! read more

Seen the hype of shula kitchen about there quesobirria taco. So I had to go and try it . Im sorry I got no pics but im still going to review them. The quesobirria taco meet up to all the hype it was delicious. Lotsa cheese beef meat shredded onions and cilantro, with a side of consume which I found my self drinking after eating taco and dipping it in the juice. Service was as good as it gets from a food truck. Alert* do not eat in vehicle cause it's so juicy. I wound up getting out of truck and ate it standing lol.comes with a slice of lemon and grilled onions and a small container of salsa. My recommendation is to put some salsa inside of taco along with grilled onions and squeeze lemon on top and stand back and dip it in the juice and freaking enjoy . 9.5 out of a 10 star. Could of made a ten if I had a little salt. $4.50 for 1 taco well worth it cause they were stuffed with beef and i got full. Best taco truck in Vacaville hands down! It had been a while since I had them, so I broke down and ordered via DoorDash. The quesabirrias tacos are amazing! Crispy outside shell and tender birria inside with onions and cilantro. The consome is really good, but I think the tacos are good on their own personally. The consome is an added bonus. I would say the best thing they have is birra tacos. The service is also always fast and has nice people. I did try the carnesada fries once but then was disappointed when I seen they put nacho cheese which isn't exactly advertised, I'm not a fan but I've seen other people really enjoy them. My family's go-to quesabirria spot!! Each one is well sized and they do not skimp out on the meat portioning inside either! Love mine with extra onions and cilantro. Also got their fries for the first time, which was also good, we enjoyed that the fries were on the thinner side and had a god crunch to them. They're in a small empty parking lot with not much seating if you're trying to eat it right away, depending on the time of day, but they are on door dash so you can make ordering ahead and pick up easy! read more

Shula's Kitchen stays on the move!! I finally made it to this food truck for the first time tonight! The excitement is real :D I was warmly welcomed when I walked up and ordered my dinner. After about 10 minutes, the pager I was given, started to buzz. It was after dark, and did not opt to eat outside. I took my food home. There was a tent with lights attached, if you want to eat outside. I'll leave that for next time :) Tonight's dinner: asada fries, birria tacos, and horchata. Ordered a burrito, I heard good things about this place. Burritos had a high rating. I don't know if it was a off night, but Burrito was bland. There was no pico, no sour cream, no colors or flavor. It was basically a meat and rice Burrito. At least give me some levels of flavor. The guy at the front was cool, but not returning. read more

Let me say the food is great here. Great quality a taste reminds me of Tacos from LA. So much to say I had tried everything here but I am gonna say the Shula's burger. It is so delicious so much flavor. It's one of the best burgers I ever had here in Vacaville top 10 better than any burger I had in any restaurant for being in a taco food truck. The french fries are delicious and crispy. I can't stop talking about it. This burger has bacon, grilled ham, pineapple, bacon, cheese, and mushrooms. It just melts right in your mouth.... the only thing I wish they had more options of sodas, Mexican bottles, Dr Pepper, or Pepsi cans would go great with the food the burger comes with a special sauce that you put into it. It has a kick flavor to it so much flavor I will be back anytime I want a burger I go straight to them. read more

My. Friend suggested we try this food truck everyone at her job talked about. She thought it was located near Western Ranch but it wasn't there so I looked here to find them. We went with it and traveled to their location near Murillo's. To her surprise, they were there! Why would I Even bring this up?! Well, we were surprised that a food truck, which isn't a brick and mortar, would have their current location. Score!!! Anyway... They have a Tuesday special that allows you to try their quesabirrias and birria tacos for a whopping three for $10! Of course we chose to try it. The darn thing was so damn tasty and incredibly filling. I sent pictures to my family so my son and his friend decided to go to the location and try it. He agreed it was tasty and filling. What impressed him the most is how thoughtful they were to have a tent for them to eat under. It's the little things that means a great deal. My husband tried their asada burrito was torn if he would eat it all at one sitting or save half for later. He chose the latter. Shula's Kitchen was at Solano Brewing Company while I was attending an event for School of Rock Vacaville. The staff were nice and prices fair. However, a 25 minute wait for fries, churros and a Mulitas, was a bit long for not being very busy yet. After receiving our food, the Mulitas was missing cilantro and onion (as listed on the menu) and was in desperate need of seasoning. Wasn't awful, but don't need to have again. read more

Service: The nicest folks ever! Knowing it was our first time they gave us samples that were oh so delicious!!! Thanks again! Food is prepared to order so you have to wait but not long, and it was worth it. Food is fresh, flavorful and prepared with love. A couple snafus occurred like I didn't get a carne asada taco but the marinated pork taco was good. Hubbies chicken burrito was mostly rice. See pic. Not deal breakers because the service far outweighed these issues. We both liked the tacos better than the burritos but we ate the tacos onsite, and the burritos the next day. So having the food right then might have overshadowed the oven reheating done the next day. Its a food truck that travels and does special events. We'll definitely be going back soon. read more

best churros I've ever had! was passing on the drive from Davis to the bay and made a quick detour for food on the way and it did not disappoint!!! California burrito was soo good and fresh and the sauces also seemed really fresh and made in house. Good price point too! Also the portion size was insanely generous, it was the biggest burrito and churro that I've ever had. This is my new favorite Mexican food place for sure. My family loves Shula's. Everything is flavorful and fresh. My daughter (10yr old) says they have the Best Quesabirria and she always gets 3 of them every time we get Shula's. They also have specials that they release that is not on their regular menu. If you follow them on Facebook you can see all their specials like crispy tacos, taco salad, and chiquilles. Birria birria birria! Run, don't walk to Shula's kitchen! When I went, I had just had a long, hard day of moving house and I wanted a meal that would not only satisfy my tummy, but also my wallet. My usual spot has tanked in reviews since COVID, so I was pleased to see the positive reviews for Shula's. When I pulled up, there weren't many people waiting for orders, so I took a photo of the menu and sat down to consider my options. I decided on 2 California burritos, carne asada fries, 2 birria tacos and one mulita. I may have been hungry. When I approached the truck to order, the two women in the truck were smiling and friendly. I placed my order and paid with a card. I did noticed that it would be less if I had paid with cash, so this is something to keep in mind. After about 10 minutes, my food was hot and ready. When I say hot, I mean, don't try to sneak a fry in the car or you will burn the crap out of your tongue! Everything was fresh and clearly handmade. I had asked for no onions, but this wasn't a deal breaker as they were easy to remove. At home, we ate everything and it was still good after being stuck in traffic for 15 minutes. The birria was crisp and moist at the same time. How is that possible?? The melty cheese, the tender meat and the crunchy shell left me wishing had ordered 10 tacos. The carne asada fries had a cheese sauce, but it didn't taste like it came from a can or a bag. It was fresh, flavorful and oh so gooey. The star of the entire meal was the California burrito. This is the best California burrito I have had in the state of California. I was only able to eat half on the first night, so I decided to eat the rest for breakfast the best day. After 30 seconds in the microwave, the burrito tasted as if it had been freshly made! The fries did not fall apart, the meat (Al pastor) was still tender and the burrito wasn't soggy at all!
