    Mangonada
    Corinne C.

Plenty of seating inside! Came by after dinner for a treat. Got the mangonada. It was more like a mangonada flavored raspado. About 4-5 tiny diced mango cubes on top, and the rest was crushed ice and syrup. I did appreciate the heavily seasoned tajin/chamoy rim and the sour spaghetti candy in it added a terrific chewy texture, and the chamoy and takin seasonings made it nicely spicy salty sweet, but it really is very light on the mango (but maybe this is just how Colorado mangonadas are, since I normally only get them in California) so it felt a bit pricey at $10. Still, I'll be back in the future to try out some of their savory items and try another sweet treat!

    Strawberry horchata

I was excited to try the strawberry horchata (which was easily some of the best I've ever had)! The quesabirria was delicious and filling. The salsas were also fantastic. I finished the meal with a beautiful and decadent flan. Javier, the owner, was attentive to my needs and made sure that all customers who came in were satisfied. There were so many wonderful things on the menu, including Mexican street foods and brunch items (served all-day). I will absolutely be making this one of my regular spots anytime I visit Boulder!

    Torta

Great Torta- one of the best I've had. This is a new location and is really nice and clean. Very friendly staff and great salsa bar. Highly recommend!

Our first time here to this New Mexican eatery, and it's charming, delicious, and has super friendly staff. Upon first entering we weren't even sure they sold food beyond Mexican snacks, but we soon found the menu and had so many things we wanted to try it was hard to narrow it down. We decided on an order of Chilaquiles with 2 eggs over easy, a quesabirria, an elote en Vaso and Horchata. The sauces are flavorful and the shredded beef tender and so tasty. We took home enough for another meal as the Chilaquiles are huge. Everything was hot fresh, and delicious! More authentic than other Boulder Mexican restaurants and we will be back to try desserts like raspados (shaved ice) and more meals. Thanks for sharing your story with us as well! It is a family business and we wish all the best!

BEST MEXICAN FOOD I'VE HAD in CO!! Wow! Had the chicken burrito- so different than all the other sit down if fast Mexican spots. Reminds me of real deal homemade. Lime.m cucumber drink was awesome too and super friendly and fast service! Don't miss this spot and enjoy the sunny patio too!

This is a fun place to get Mexican style snacks. If you're in the mood for exotic sweets or salty, check it out! I want to come back for birria ramen which sounds amazing. It's a nice big place with a view west towards the Flatirons. Counter service.

Started out skeptical about getting good Mexican food. BUT, this place was outstanding. Employees super friendly and made several recommendations. The shrimp ceviche nachos were super tasty. Enough ceviche to cover every chip. The tortes (choice of beef, pork or chicken). It is so big two can share easily. Corn in a cup....wow, wow, wow. Birria tacos super good. The topper - Agua Frescas, can't go wrong. Your choices: Pepino, Fresa, Mango, Pina, Hochata, and Jimiaca.

No one is sad eating Mexican food. Came here based on a recommendation and I was pretty great. Tastes like they don't cook with a lot of salt which is nice. I added the green salsa they have at the counter and it brought my plate to a whole other level. Good stuff! I'll try it again.

This place is really good and the perfect in between to fast casual and a great sit down Mexican restaurant. Wasn't sure what to expect first time going in but was impressed and have been getting delicious burritos there over many other options. I brought my coworker the Birria ramen and he loved it. All of our work crew keeps going back for lunches. Definitely go try them out. Its in a very overlooked location next to Five Guys. Its been pretty empty whenever I go but Boulder needs these types of mom and pop business, go support them!

    Quesabirria tacos

Stumbled on this place while shopping. Almost didn't want to leave a review because it's so good! I got the quesabirria tacos, definite must. It's like a super cheesy Birria taco. I'm blown away, I had two and going back later today for more! The service is phenomenal too, the staff helped me grab the best combo of hot sauce!

We had to wait about 20 mins without a reservation on a weekday - im guessing weekends are busier. The menu is influenced from countries along the silk route and has a dish from various different countries. We tried the swedish svamptoast, malaysian sambal curry, indonesian peanut noodle, choo chee salmon. Everything was flavorful, a little spicy, good quantities and the value for money was also great - each dish was $20-$23 range which is great for such an ambience. We also tried their chai - which was lightly spiced and one of the black teas (pineapple chilli) - and these were delicious too! We had kids with us and they were super friendly and nice towards them and accommodating to menu changes based on preferences. Overall - highly recommend this place!

This was such a fun tea service! We had heard great things about this spot and decided to make a…read morereservation for their afternoon tea service on a Monday afternoon. We were surprised to find it very crowded at 4pm when we visited. There's a small area at the front of the restaurant and a lot of folks were gathered there waiting for their tables. It took several minutes before the hostess checked us in and let us know it would be a few minute wait. A bit later we were guided to our seats. I appreciated that they took trouble to make it feel like a special experience - with white tablecloths, decor and the cutlery. They seemed a bit short staffed that day so our server was helping out many tables. He was very helpful in explaining the menu, though we did have to ask specifically to receive the full tea menu. We decided on a few teas to share - a spiced white chocolate white tea, rooibos chai, and a hibiscus cooler (iced and non-caffeinated). The spiced white chocolate was fantastic. I wasn't as much of a fan of the rooibos but if you like less sweet teas this is a good choice. The hibiscus cooler was delicious and refreshing, and I liked that they let us take it to go! Our amuse bouche came out first - a delicious pumpkin seed savory small soup and it was fantastic. We eagerly awaited our tea tower - and it certainly did not disappoint! We are still thinking about the delicious spinach and artichoke pinwheel with olive tapenade - it was our absolute favorite. The savory sandwiches were also delicious. We especially enjoyed the clotted cream and lemon curd with the scone, and the desserts were delectable. We were stuffed by the end of our teatime! Our server was very helpful and despite it being very busy, we felt taken care of. I think this is a very worthwhile experience - the tea, sweets, and savories are all delicious and definitely worth checking out!
