    Entry into the shop

The service was very welcoming. It was the first time my husband and I had been here, and we were having a little bit of choice overload. The person behind the cash register was very kind and allowed us to change our mind not once but twice. They joked around with us and even gave us some suggestions on what to order. The nice piece about this is that there is seating both inside and outside. For ourselves we chose to sit outside, which actually turned out to be really nice even though most of the two top tables were taken. You're able to have a conversation with the person in front of you no problem. The food itself I would say the star of the show for us was definitely the Greek chopped salad. It was extremely fresh. The kalamata olives really brought the salad to life with the feta cheese. One tip that I would recommend, is for my turkey sandwich I got the side of the pasta salad. I took that pasta salad and put it into the chopped Greek salad and it was amazing. Now for the other two items. The turkey sandwich was nice. It definitely had nice thick pieces of Turkey, the bread was made fresh, and, the Panini press really gave it that nice chart. For me I would have liked a bit more of the herb spread because you could really taste the fresh herbs. The grilled cheese definitely used high quality cheese. It would have paired really nicely with a bowl of soup to help bring out the cheese flavor a bit more. Overall, a lovely place and I do want to try other things on the menu.

Iced vanilla latte, black ice tea, Thai milk tea

Stopped here for a quick pick me up drink with my siblings and we all enjoyed our beverages! I got a standard iced tea but my brother and his girlfriend ordered the Thai milk tea and vanilla oat milk latte! Service was quick and the ambiance seems nice for working and hanging out! We didn't stay to sit because we got excited about checking out the neighboring bookstore!

This was a great place to grab coffee and sandwich. We tried the spicy egg sandwich and BLT sandwich. Both were pretty good and flavorful. The coffee was great as well. Everything tasted fresh and the service was also quick. They had plenty of seating and free WiFi for people to work while enjoying coffee and food. The only negative part was that they give Togo cups and no plates for sandwich for dine in as well.

Tasty honey matcha and very kind staff. The ambiance kinda seemed like a neighborhood game night vibe. We didn't hang out too long because we had our dogs and you can't bring them inside, but I liked the unique twists.

Fast friendly service and cute ambiance- soy latte was tasty!! I was able to walk here from our air bnb and every morning was great!

We were in the area and wanted to grab some quick bites and decided to try this place. Personally, im pretty impress with the food here. Service is also very friendly. We ordered the veggie delight sandwich and the turkey sandwich. Veggie delight sandwich: filled with avocado, tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce. Each component was fresh and good, but it didn't go well together for some reason. It kinda just felt like eating each thing on its own. The bread was nicely toasted though. Turkey Sandwich: definitely the fan favorite. Not sure where they got the buns from, but the buns made such a big difference in the sandwich. Also, it's a pretty big sandwich, they were pretty generous with the turkey. It also comes with some lettuce and tomatoes and mayonaise as well. However, i think the bread was the star. Each sandwich also comes with a small side, so we got a pasta salad and bag of chips. The pasta salad was pretty standard. Overall, a pretty good place if you're in the area for lunch.

The experience exceeded my expectations, specifically for exceptional service! As we walked in the door, the hostess was super friendly. We sat at the large high-top table with the fire pit nearest to the hostess stand with a view of the water. Our server, Amber, consistently went above and beyond and carried herself with a bubbly and positive aura. She guided our selections of fries, fish tacos, salmon mousse, and tuna poke bites and frequently checked on us to make sure we were doing okay. Amber was also very professional and polite when she cleared plates and dropped off the drinks and food. Speaking of the food, every dish had great presentation. I wouldn't say the taste was out of the world but everything was still good and worth the price. The two hours we spent there flew by and by the time we decided to wrap up, all three of us were commenting on the great service (which led me to write this review). As a final gesture of hospitality by the restaurant, the hostess let my mom keep the bar purse hook that was given to her to hang her purse. I will definitely come back here the next time I'm in Seattle.

It's nice to watch the staff cook because it tells you that the food is fresh. I have high expectations for seafood in Seattle. However, I was disappointed with the scallops as it tasted raw and cool to the touch in the center. I'm not a scallop expert but this one missed the mark - the flavors were off with the sauce (tasted earthy). Presentation and color looked good, but this didn't taste good. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
