They have some tables out front, but they also have a small outdoor seating area that you can get to through the building. I ordered an iced hazelnut almondmilk latte and it was really good. I was not expecting a gourmet sandwich from a coffee shop, but that's exactly what I got! I ordered the Queen Anne Turkey Club. I expected the typical highly processed, thinly sliced Turkey that you can pick up in any deli. What I got, was thickly cut turkey breast, slightly warm, layered with lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon, between delicious brioche pretzel buns. It was GIANT and so good! I ordered it for breakfast, looks like the other half will be my lunch! The coffee was good too. I just had a latte, nothing special about it, but it was good, nicely balanced. I wasn't expecting much from this place. It's very modern looking and doesn't really stand out as a place that would draw me in, with the exception that there is a book store attached to, but not part of the Cafe. Once inside, I appreciated it so much more! They have partitions around each table that allows for an extra barrier of protection while eating inside. The tables were all full. Someone with their computer open, a small group of three, maybe 4 people conducting a meeting of some kind. So it's clear that this is a neighborhood go to. I can see why. The employees all seemed really nice and their espresso machine is built into the counter. It's kinda cool to see how yummy your shot looks before it's poured into the silky steamed milk! Rolled in this morning to get some hot chocolate (with real milk) that my wife likes. My wife was asleep when I left so I asked if this could be nuked later to warm it back up. The server offered that it would work but not be as good so could she warm it hotter to last longer and then offered to put the mandatory (!!!) whipped cream in a side cup so it wouldn't melt. How thoughtful is that early in the morning. This was all served with a beautiful smile and yes, my wife is pleased. Great start to the morning thanks to a thoughtful, kind young lady. Excellent coffee! I'm a bit of a coffee snob so I can say with confidence that this place is high quality. The baristas were very friendly and polite, and the service was pretty quick. Good coffee and nice situation right next to the Queen Anne Book Corner. My only suggestion is do not order the spicy eggs for breakfast. They still only serve in take out boxes and cups even if you are sitting inside. It is very difficult to eat a plate designed for a dish in a box. Queen Anne sent my taste buds on a new high! With fresh simple ingredients that pack a mean punch I must say they nailed it here! I got a turkey sandwich on a soft airy perfectly salted pretzel bun. My mother and partner got a breakfast sandwich on their perfectly baked bun as well. It felt great to be in a cute area, outdoors and enjoying that rare Seattle sunshine . I'm leaving my second 5 star review for QAC! I work next door to them, and I could not get through my work week without these folks and their tasty fare. This time, I'm going to share my favorite food items: 1. Vegan Delight Sandwich! I add cheese, because, well, yum! But it's fantastic on its own. I grab a bag of jalapeño chips, and the meal is delicious, satiating, and makes my day better 2. Greek Chop Salad! This is my new favorite, and I could honestly eat it twice a day. Yeah, there are many Greek salads floating around this city, but this is a fresh bistro take, with yummy chunks of tomatoes and peppers, and arugula mixed with romaine. The croutons are unbelievably good! 3. Challah pretzel bread! It's challah, it's pretzel, it's sweet, it's savory, it's magic! Visiting Seattle means I need to head to the cutest neighborhood - Queen Anne. Love the small boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops that one finds here. Today we decided to try a new place - it opened since our visit last summer. Decor is clean & bright. More modern feel than I typically like for a coffee shop but it works. Love all the windows and cheery feel. Very clean. Based on other yelp reviews I opted for the breakfast San on the pretzel bun - OMG so delicious!! My husband had a blueberry muffin & espresso- he said it was also very good. This cafe is also located right next to the Queen Anne book company definitely a plus. We will be back. read more

What a treat! I had a egg, cheddar & 2 egg sando (sourdough) & a sampling of their delicious gooey cinnamon buns! The eggs were perfectly cooked & gently nestled in between the cheddar cheese & crispy crunchy bacon- just like back home on the ranch. The coffee was nicely balanced & paired nicely. I like it here--I remember back when it was El Diablo before they moved--but to me it feels a bit overpriced? I'm not sure if it's because it's in upper QA or what, but on the few occasions I've been there I've been surprised by the total when I'm rung up. In any case, the coffee is good but I particularly like the chai--not sure if it's house-made, but it's delicious. More on the spicy side while still sweet! I'm not usually much of a tea person during the day, but their chai (especially iced with almond milk, in my opinion) is some of the best in town. read more

I stopped in here one day after checking out the rad bookstore next door. We ordered a chai and a BLT with chips on the side. The service was fine, the interior was cute and bright. Outdoor tables available without umbrellas if that's useful to know. The BLT was FANTASTIC! I had one half immediately and heated up the rest the next day at work and added some avocado. So.. the world's best cinnamon roll and chocolate bread (because that's a magical thing?) are both at this place! I have no words at the level of freshness, deliciousness and fabulousness for these two pastries. Get them warmed up, and they'll melt in your mouth. The cinnamon roll is just the right size, with the perfect soft center, and can be eaten with a fork because of it's saucy freshness. The chocolate bread makes your inner kid giddy as you rip off a piece and eat the soft fresh bread with bits of chocolate dripping off it. I mean COME ON! oh yeah, the coffee is good too ;) and the place is very modern, and clean with good service... well and Queen Anne prices. I love coming here to work because it is so warm unlike other places where I have to wear my coat the whole time. I usually get their americanos but today I splurged on a chai latte. I paid for an 8oz but they were out of that size so they upgraded me to a 12 free of charge. That is amazing customer service and that's why it has been a my first choice as regular study place for me out of all the other coffee places in Queen Anne. Bless them for being open on a snow day! I love that it's connected to a bookstore. Plentiful street parking but I usually walk here. Lots of outlets too and large windows for people watching. They have food here but I haven't tried it. There is usually one if not more than one interview happening at a nearby table. Seems to be popular for that sort of thing. They have a gender neutral restroom that you go outside for (it's right on the side... very close). You do have to go up a couple steps so I'm not sure if there is another accessible entrance or not. read more

Ambiance: New and modern coffee shop! The interior is clean, bright, spacious, and chic and there's even a cute covered patio in the back. Kind of reminds me of a humble version of Kardashian's kitchen! Definitely way more refreshing than many of the typical dark, old, stuffy cafes all over Seattle. It's a perfect hangout spot during the day and has plenty of space for strollers as well for those who want to take their babies or kids. Food & Drinks: Excellent rich and creamy coffee! They even offer hemp milk, which seems to be the craze these days. All pastries are freshly baked in house and they are DELICIOUS. Must get the pretzel brioche (with salted honey butter) which is so perfectly soft and moist inside. While they've only been open for a few days, they will soon offer salads, sandwiches, snacks, healthy meals for kids, and even dinosaur cookies! read more

Found this place through Yelp, labeled as "Hot and New" so definitely had to check out what the hype was all about (And I couldn't believe this was where El Diablo used to be! 6 years ago that was my go-to study place during undergrad!) Absolutely ADORE their very bright and beautiful "aesthetically pleasing" interior with really chill music playing in the background (this is super important! I personally don't like it when music is too loud and blasting while i'm sitting at a cafe). ALSO, their outside area is super cute! String lights and all! Can't wait for spring and summertime! (Or just non rainy and not too cold days). I was welcomed by a very friendly staff who was willing to help me find the exact drink that I wanted! (SERIOUSLY, their staff is very sweet and friendly and genuinely want to ensure you enjoy everything). They sell BOLD and DARK roasts (no medium or light roasts). I enjoy my South American medium roasts so was a little sad they didn't have any - BUT... the kind barista helped me find the perfect drink - their SUMATRA COLD BREW! I actually really enjoy it (slightly bold but very smooth). The espresso was a little too bold for my taste, so wouldn't come here for espresso drinks. COFFEE CAKE: moist on the inside and crumbly on top. Not too sweet and really nice texture SPICY EGG SANDWICH (+turkey - needed some protein): crispy sourdough bread, slight kick from the spicy egg, and dang, their garlic aioli sauce. Great new coffee shop on top of Queen Anne - in the old El Diablo location. Was a bit of controversy on how the previous tenants were treated by the landlord, but I love what the new owners have done. Clean, white environment with (so far) excellent coffee. Fast 300+ Mb internet connection is a plus - makes for a great place to work remotely. Only recommendation might be to soften up front patio with some nice planters, japanese trees, and color. Old trellis with wysteria was removed during remodel, and the patio can feel a bit stark and bright. Highly recommended, and well worth trying. I hope El Diablo fans won't take out their dislike of the sketchy landlord actions (evicting El Diablo) on the current very sweet and helpful owner. Try it! read more

Stayed in Queen Anne while visiting Seattle and stopped here for a quick breakfast. Baristas were warm and friendly. I ordered an almond milk lavender latte and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Drink was great and sandwich was good too, especially the crispy but not overcooked bacon. Could've used ketchup or hot sauce packets to add on the sandwich for extra flavor. The food: All of the pastries/food items are made by the owner using the best ingredients and recipes (many of which have been passed down thru her family). Particular food highlights include the cinnamon roll (the BEST in Seattle), challah rolls, and turkey sandwiches (which you can even get on a challah roll). Everything is remarkably good, and prices are reasonable for Queen Anne (and a good deal given the quality of the food and care that goes into it). The coffee: I don't drink much coffee, but my girlfriend loves coffee from this place (and I get to snag a cinnamon roll on the side). The staff: warm and friendly. The owner, Bri, is a wonderful member of the community and passionate about her shop and customers. She clearly has baking/culinary talent and we're lucky that she decided to open up shop on our little hill. Location: inside is very bright and modern, but still feels cozy. It's in the perfect spot on top of Queen Anne and shares a front patio with Queen Anne Book Store. Pop in, grab a coffee/cinnamon roll and hang out while your kids browse books. Parking is generally plentiful out front as well, and it's worth the trip. Negatives: I get sad when I eat any other cinnamon roll (which I used to really enjoy) because it's not nearly as good as Queen Anne Coffee Co. Pro-tip: many of the pastry items can be ordered in advance in bulk and/or ready to pop in the oven. In addition to the front patio (shared with Queen Anne Book Store), there's a more private veranda. read more
