A wonderful addition to the neighborhood! My roommate and I are obsessed with the scones. They have great sandwiches too. The baked goods are phenomenal, everything is made in-house. I just found out you can pre-order birthday cakes and pies, so I can't wait for the holidays!! The owner is lovely, and staff are all super friendly. Highly recommend. read more

So happy to have this cute little spot in Queen Anne. It's the new resident of the old El Diablo space but with a much different and modern look. Like everyone said, the challah bread pretzel with honey butter is to die for. I wish they served the bread warm and butter softened. Also had the breakfast sandwich and it made a decent breakfast meal (nothing extra ordinary though). The coffee drinks hit the spot too. read more

Don't let the rather cold colors of the interior fool you. This place is warm in lots of other ways! 1. It is actually warm in here (even on very chilly winter mornings). Lately, I found myself shivering in other coffee shops on Queen Anne Ave, but never here! Love it! 2. Very friendly service, not 10 different barista's - but always the same, welcoming faces. 3. And yes, their pretzel buns are the best I ever tasted. Queen Anne Coffee company is starting to grow on me. I still feel they should do sth to make the interior more inviting (maybe warmer type of light, instead of blue white) - but it's becoming one of my favorites! read more

We found this place by accident when we took a walk in the neighborhood. This place is very lovely and quiet. The coffee bean is a little bit dark roast but the barista makes latte out of it excellent. Their music is very chill which I think it is good for a gloomy day in Seattle. read more

This is a quaint little shop. It's probably 3.5 stars; I can't fault it for anything in particular, but it's not memorable or anything really special for the price. If you're passing by and looking for a nice coffee and pastry or breakfast sandwich it'll hit the spot. But I wouldn't go out of my way for it; great local coffee places are a-plenty in Seattle. read more

Cute coffee spot next to a quaint bookstore! Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and was helped quickly and efficiently. Their Almond Milk Latte is on par for a Seattle local coffeeshop, which is to say, excellent, and was a great pick-me-up in the middle of a slow afternoon. read more

Clean, bright, friendly, and most importantly: excellent coffee and food. I think a measure of a good coffee place is how well they can do a plain espresso shot: this didn't disappoint. (Lighthouse Coffee, I think.) Scones, cinnamon rolls, and as mentioned, the challah pretzels--so much better than you-know-who-on-every-corner. Love supporting a small woman-owned business. So good! Must order the breakfast panini. My friends and I had breakfast here and we each loved our meals and desserts. I got the spicy egg sandwich + avocado which was a little less expensive than the other sandwich options (it was $9) and it was super delicious. Their challah bread was also amazing. Update: they contacted me with incredible customer service immediately after my review and offered to refund me for the cinnamon roll situation and said they'd have another waiting for my kids the next time we came in. The fact that they recognized on their own that my kids were probably disappointed helped my household mood quite a bit. LOL updating stars to reflect their excellent customer service! Old review: Honestly I could tell the poor barista was working as hard as she could but the 3 customers who were behind me in line that got their order before me...well, it's covid so anything goes. ;) We ordered a huge cinnamon roll and asked that it be cut in half for my kids. When we got home the halves suddenly looked like 1/4 pieces so my kids pieced them together and it only made a half of a cinnamon roll. But I paid for a whole. If you have 3 young kids with you (like me) don't order any cooked food - it takes forever just due to the nature of less staff and longer wait times. Just get a pastry...but make sure it's a whole pastry. ;) read more

I came early morning to try this new spot and I'm glad I did. I ordered an espresso and a pretzel roll with honey butter. I'm telling you, you can't leave this place without trying the pretzel roll with honey butter, it's ridiculously good and freshly made! Their coffee is even better, if possible. I really dig their espresso setup and modern sleek design. The service was vibrant and friendly. I can't wait to try some of their other items and coffee selections. read more

So this coffee shop is in my top ten favorite coffee shops and these are the reasons why: 1. Customer service is just great, consistently positive and friendly who makes me feel like I'm not just another annoying customer. 2. Bringing some cultural food into the cafe scene such as the challah. This Jewish pretzel is just perfect in finding a balance of sweetness and saltiness. The side of honey and butter definitely plays that part as well. Also the first time I ever had this pretzel, it will forever change how I eat pretzels now. LOL 3. For using lighthouse roasters(local roaster)which roasts darker then most, their espresso was just perfect in finding a balance of both smoothness and rich flavors. Using a Mavam machine with the OCD tool probably helps in this process and is just damn beautiful to see in action.(sorry I'm coffee nerding) Considering how new they are, I'm so excited to see what the future holds for them. If they were to follow the coffee trend of lighter to medium roast coffee to see what kind of flavor direction they choose to go down or cater to the older generation of coffee drinkers and stick with lighthouse who definitely falls behind in the coffee scene but still has a cult following. At first I questioned if we need another coffee house in QA. But this place is unlike the other typical Seattle-style coffee shops on the hill. Its modern, super clean and bright, just a really nice design that I want to live in. The music and ambiance are very pleasant to either hang out with a friend or get some work done. The WiFi is strong, coffee is excellent but slightly pricey. What I'm most excited about are the lovely food items: had a fantastic BF sandwich one day, a nice little salad another day. Ingredients are fresh and nicely prepared. I HATE pre-packaged dressing, these dressings are obviously home-made with quality olive-oil and herbs. We absolutely needed a place like this in QA, just didnt realize it til it got here. Oh and a cute nicely-landscaped patio that will be awesome next Spring/summer. I've been in here a few times and always have an excellent experience. Their coffee is great and pastries taste really fresh. The baristas are always very friendly. Most recently though, one woman working there who I would assume is the manager went out of her way twice to open the door for me as I was struggling with a stroller.
