Decent nail salon! Nice parking! The service isn't anything to write home about, but the space is nice and remodeled! They get the job done. I don't judge them based on prices because every nail salon has gotten ridiculous. I went here for an emergency set because my regular nail tech wasn't available. I went in to get a regular pedicure, only one foot was scrubbed I didn't want to make a scene so I didn't say anything. I got a no chip manicure and the lady cut me and she was not wearing any gloves and proceeded to put glue on my cut and cured it wth the light to cure gel polish. As much as I wanted to say something I was in a rush and had already been there for 1.5 hours. I went to go pay and gave the lady my card and proceeded to scan and I asked her how much it was and she said $80 needless to say I will not be back. read more

I absolutely love my nails. I asked for square and that's what I got. The women called "moon" was very good at doing nails. She did file my skin a little bit but as soon as she noticed she did she went and filed the filer and fixed it and I was not burned by it again. Today was my first & last time coming here. I was originally trying to get a manicure and pedicure to get ready for my upcoming New Year's Eve date with my husband. The guy that did my pedicure dug one of the nail tools in the side of my big toes causing it to bleed, then he tried to hurry to put something on it to stop the bleeding but it was pretty bad that it kept bleeding. He was even kinda forceful with taking my feet in & out of the water. He was rushing doing my feet I couldn't relax to enjoy anything about especially after he made my toe bleed! After applying lotion on my legs, he had my feet on top of the tub and he proceeded to remove the plastic from the tub to clean it instead of waiting until I was completely finished! Right before he polished my toes I noticed that there was still dirt under both of my big toes that I pointed out to him that he didn't remove!!! I normally don't do reviews but I had to after being hurt and receiving poor customer service. This place is too busy trying to decorate the inside with their huge big flat screens instead of actually caring for their customers and making their experience an enjoyable time. read more

I was a customer for at least 10 yrs, I most definitely won't be back. I almost always paid with my credit card, but I would always tip the person in cash. I would definitely watch when paying with a credit/ debit card save your receipts. My total is always $40 I would write 0.00 for the tip then write $40.00 total I was going over my bank statement and I noticed there was A charge of $55.00 from queen nails?? Not only did this happen this week but once back in November and once in December, done by the same employee?? I called the owner and asked why was I charged a different amount then I signed off on?? He said let me check and I'll call you back?? A few hours later he sends me a text with a picture of my receipt showing that I signed off on $40.00??? Okay then why was I charged $55.00?? He said that was done by your bank?? Why would my bank add $15.00 extra on behalf of queen nails, that doesn't make sense?? Maybe that's your employee doing illegal stuff?? I really wish I could give this place a better review. We called, they were super accommodating. It was four of us, so I knew we'd have to wait, wherever we ended up going. Fine. Pedicures started ok. They were scrambling to get us all started, fine. They're not expecting four people to show up all at once. Pedis finished, let's move on to manicures. That's where things got bad. My nails were cut, soaked, buffed, cuticles cut, and polished. Ok, I don't usually stress about filing. What I do stress about is when they're cutting my cuticle and I start bleeding. And I was bleeding bad. Needless to say, we won't be coming back. That'll teach me to stray from my usual west loop salon, even if it is more expensive. read more

I'm not sure what happened to this place but it had gone downhill SEVERELY. I have been a regular here for years & so has my mother. I always get an acrylic full set, the polish chips almost immediately after getting them done. I got my nails done Saturday, 3 nails completely popped off on Wednesday. I went in & got them redone, they didn't charge me (as they shouldn't), and just had ANOTHER one pop off today (Friday). I take care of one 10-month-old for a living so they did not pop off due to excessive use of my hands or anything. For the prices they have and the fact they overcharge way too much, there's no reason their nails should be such poor quality. read more

Kevin's work is great if he isn't tired. The younger women are good too... Other than that this place is trash. My complaint is for the nosey older woman with the painted-on eyebrows and glasses. She doesn't take her time, and for $32, I had to ask for alcohol on my toes after slathering my feet with lotion; clearly she didn't give a poo about my polish lasting, she always finds an opportunity to nick you whilst clipping your cuticles, and she has horrible polishing techniques. Then after $45 Dipped Nails by Kevin, I asked for my feet to be wrapped to save my pedicure, Kevin insisted that I'd be okay leaving out of their establishment with the flimsy flip flops on, since I'm going right home... This is probably the worst nail experience in my years of getting my nails done. I requested a pedicure and gel full set. So the young lady did a good job with the pedicure portion---the polishing horrid---she missed a noticeable section of my big toe you can't even tell there is glitter on that toe. Ok, so let's move on to the nails...two hours! It took him two tries on several nails because white spots kept popping up. He put the gel on so thick no blending---the tips and gel application sit on top of my nails---very gaudy. If I could give them zero stars I would. Do not do it! read more

Needed a pedi in the worst way. Walked in, no wait. Nice place, clean, polite people, chairs merely ok re massage. Started out well, told her I needed serious work. She seemed thorough with nippers and such, didn't scrub much, no credo crape, but I was talking to my chair-neighbor and didn't notice, looked ok; lame and brief foot massage, Polish fine. Next day though, I noticed nothing had really been scrubbed/buffed. Whole foot still scratchy, cubicles were not pushed back or nipped enough, blister residue still on one foot, heels still rough. The lotion hid it for a few hours but I paid $25 plus a $5 tip for a very mediocre pedicure. Where does a gal have to go to get s descent one? I do a much better job myself for free. I went here for the first time last Saturday, for a pedicure and polish change on my nails. It was around 12:30pm and I thought I'd have to wait a while since I did not have an appointment. I was greeted immediately, and was asked how I can be helped. Told him what I wanted and was then asked to select my polish colors. I only waited, at most, 5 minutes before my feet were in the water. The pedicure was very nice, scrubbed my feet for just the right amount of time. Was very gentle and did a great job on both my toes and nails. Very reasonable prices! If i could give a zero I would....first off, nobody is ever there on time when they open and when someone is its 1 person, they dont have enough help and most of them can only do pedicures. This last experience i had was horrible. I got my no chip done last wednesday and i had to go back 5 seperate times between then and sunday to keep getting them fixed. Not once did they say sorry and they had me wait behind everyone else when i had already paid for my services and been back several times. The last time the guy cut my cuticle too. This was my first ever pedicure. I went with my daughter and we each got a no chip manicure and I got a pedicure. It was $75 with 2 coupons. I tipped $15. They were nice but nobody spoke good English. The p,ace was very dirty. I went into a couple of places in the neighborhood. They all were dirty. I needed my feet done quick for my trip to Florida. The staff was friendly and nice and my manicure came out super nice but my complaint is with the way the existing overlay was removed from my nails. I didn't want a fill in, it was just time to redo the overlay and the guy that did my nails did not soak them to remove them as has always been the case wherever I go. Instead, he cut them a little and the placed a fake nail between my nail and the overlay and basically pulled it off that way. It was pretty painful and whenever it hurt I'd tell him and he'd apologize but then kept going. I don't know if he did this to save time or what but he broke two of my real nails and it was painful. The place is a mess. The floors look like they haven't been cleaned in forever(gum stuck to the floor in several spots) extremely gunky and dusty work stations, pictures on the walls are all crooked. Christmas decorations still up and it's June. Completely unorganized and my no chip looked horrible. If I could give them no stars I would. They suck. I went to get my nails done on a Sunday, they had one person working and she only knew how to do pedicures. So I waiting for 30 minutes until someone came in to do my nails. THEY WERE SOOOO UGLY. When I said DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY I mean it. My nails came off after three days and it didn't even hurt when they came off. They weren't even done right they would bend if I pressed down on them with my fingers. Eye brow shaping/waxing is AMAZING! Attention to details. I have made the mistake of going elsewhere in a bind and suffered the consequences of having spock like eyebrows that I needed to grow out, I even had to cut bangs to hide them. I highly recommend for eyebrows - best I ever had. read more
