Loved this spot! It sits on the corner of Washington Avenue in La Plata, around the corner from the…read moreRosewick Shopping Center. Limited, but ample parking. Appeared accessible to get in with wheelchair use but may have some challenges navigating inside as it's set up like a house inside and there are plenty of tables packed in. I called to see if we could add our name to the waitlist, but they were only taking walk ins. Once we arrived, we added our name and waited about 5-10 minutes before we were seated. The menu is quite simple, but includes breakfast, lunch, appetizers, sweet and savory crepes. I ordered the chicken breast with potatoes and scrambled eggs. It also came with a biscuit. The portion size was good and I was super excited about the food because it was home cooked. As a person with special dietary needs this was the perfect place to come and enjoy a home cooked breakfast that wasn't full of salt. The eggs were real eggs and scrambled perfectly, the potatoes appeared fresh cut (did not come salted, I added my own), chicken breast cutlet with a crispy breading and a gravy or sauce on top. My food was served HOT!!!! Each table also had sea salt/pepper grinders. I ordered a Sunrise mocktail which was also very good. I enjoyed my meal and left stuffed! Looking forward to coming back again.

Here's what I didn't like about Number one see my picture, they served me the platter with a hair on it. I don't send food back but honestly that's not a very good first impression. Tells me a lot about the cleanliness of the place and their attention to detail Number two I really like pork sausage links which they don't have they have patties but not links. They do have salmon cakes which are very pricey and from the way the waitress described don't seem to be quite filling so I didn't order them. It would have been nice to see that on the menu as a side option but I didn't ask the waitress about it Number three. They charge an extra fee if you use a credit card. Plenty of off-street parking. It's in a nice location. Honestly I found this a little bit disappointing because I usually like supporting local restaurants as opposed to chains. I think I would have gotten a better meal had I gone to cracker barrel Price is okay give him the quality and quantity of food Overall I'm not too impressed with this place

My buddy and I recently grabbed breakfast at this First Watch and I realized I hadn't reviewed it…read moreyet. First Watch is a solid, ridiculously popular breakfast spot. Probably a 3.5 but I rounded up because their App is bomb and it gives you live updates on where you are in line. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you take advantage of the online wait list, TRUST me!! Farm to table food is always a plus, and that's what make First Watch such a hit. You can taste the freshness. The space they occupy used to be Bob Evans and I'm a fan of Bob Evans and was sad to see it go. First Watche's menu is just okay to me and I always get the same thing, the "Tri-Fecta". It's always good, especially the blueberry pancake, but I'd like to switch things up every now and then.. Oh well.. Lol! So if you're looking for a healthier choice than Cracker Barrel or some of the other popular breakfast restaurants, First Watch is probably the spot for you.. Just get in line online.. You're welcome!! :)

My omelet and potatoes was luke warm. I thought the veggies and meat would be scrambled in the eggs. The cheese was just lumped in the middle of the omelet. My French toast was okay but luke warm. What ever happened to getting hot food. Our server was friendly, so that helped. I do plan to try their lunch food and see if that's okay. But not sure of the hype about this place, maybe you can get breakfast anytime of day.
