It is not recommended. Although the employees are good, the vet is unprofessional. I don't usually give bad reviews unless I see there's really something wrong with the establishment. It was a mistake to check in our cat, Annie, because the vet was clueless about the cat. I couldn't wait to bring it to our vet because it's the weekend. The vet here, I believe Dr. Patel? Also said the cat had an infection by looking at her teeth, which turned out nothing. When he said he would give us a quote, he left the paperwork at the front without coming back to us. Nice job, leaving us clueless of how long more to wait. We waited in the room, and the receptionist didn't let us know either. Hubby had to go to the front desk and ask, and that's how we found out about the estimate that the vet left for us. He didn't come back to us but left the paperwork at the front desk without informing me. So unprofessional. Never believe when the doctor tells you there's another problem with the pet until you do the bloodwork. We won't do Annie's bloodwork here because we questioned the integrity and honesty of the facility. I hope this review will help bring awareness and help them improve. This place needs to do a better job.

: Traveling an hour from BRONX to QUEENS while PREGNANT. HAPPY and RELIEVED that I was visiting my now permanent "VET" due to COVID I was struggling to find a TRUSTING place. My cat had a glass injury where she jumped on glass. I told them exactly why she had the wound on her paw. I paid for a Clip and Cleanse. PROFESSIONAL Clip and Cleansing will Clip, Disinfect, REMOVE FOREIGN OBJECTS causing ANY PAIN to the wound, Apply ointment and if they are nice enough. BANDAGE IT. (THIS PLACE CHARGES extra 50$, when medical wrap and gauze is under 10$) I was HORRIFIED AND SCARED which is why I went to a professional!!!!!!! I was too scared to grab her paw and check her myself. They "clipped and cleansed" her. I went home, relieved. I bandaged, wrapped, Vetrycin Plus, gave her GABAPENTIN for pain, and CAGED my cat . She wasn't using her litter cus of her wound so I gave her a Towel. I FOUND GLASS WHEN CHANGING HER BANDAGE THE NEXT DAY. IF YOU WANT TO PAY OVERPRICED FOR SERVICES THAT THEY DO NOT MEET, BE THEIR GUEST. I paid so I can do the SERVICE MYSELF the very next day. Btw, I called and let them know. The supposed owner "DR.RASLA" told me they did their job right. Wanted me to book an X-RAY so they can remove more glass (that i removed myself, when they failed to remove the glass originally) I told him I trusted them, And I'm very upset with their services. He told me I'm FRAMING them, I'm LYING, to NEVER COME BACK, and HUNG UP. My sister actually works at the ASPCA, I'm a former PETCO Guest Service Manager (attend to all aspects of cats and dogs customer service questions *this includes simple medical info too*) so this experience got me super super upset and I'm highly disappointed because he also tried blaming me for my lack of knowledge of aftercare. He stood quiet and got nasty once I told him I have years in experience on small medical knowledge and care in pets. And my sister works currently in the ASPCA. I'm upset in DR.PATEL WHO FAILED TO SEE THE GLASS. and UPSET with the OWNER DR.RASLA WHO ACCUSED ME OF LYING AND HUNG UP ON ME BECAUSE HE KNEW HE WAS WRONG. *CURRENTLY FILING A REPORT TO THE NYS VETERINARIAN BOARD DO NOT COME HERE.

Instead, he was given pre-anesthetic medications and anesthesia for a SPAY procedure. Dr. Cohen later stated there had been a mix-up with another patient. When my mother picked him up, she was told by Dr. Cohen not to inform me of the incident (I have been in the field for ~15 years) and was discouraged from seeking care elsewhere. No post-procedure blood work or objective assessment was performed to ensure he was stable for discharge. We took him to a 24-hour emergency hospital, where he was found to be dehydrated, hypokalemic, and in acute kidney failure. He has since required multiple ER visits for vomiting, lethargy, and not eating, along with ongoing monitoring that has cost thousands of dollars. Dr. Cohen also stated he would not be taking action regarding the employee involved, citing that she had been "showing improvement," and added that she is pregnant. Regardless, verifying the correct patient prior to anesthesia is a fundamental responsibility of the veterinarian. If others have had similar experiences and are considering reporting concerns to the state veterinary licensing board, I encourage you to document everything and follow the appropriate formal complaint process. No pet or family should have to go through this.

The doctor at this clinic is one of the most compassionate, dedicated professionals I've ever met. From day one, it's been clear that this isn't just a business--it's a place where animals are truly cared for, and where every decision is made with their wellbeing in mind. My pets have received nothing but gentle, thoughtful, and thorough care here, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with their health. It's upsetting to see negative comments from people who may not have even been here in person. If you're reading those and feeling unsure, I encourage you to visit the clinic yourself. Don't base your opinion on a single post or someone else's story without full context. It's easy to misjudge when you don't see the whole picture. Unfortunately, online platforms sometimes spread misinformation quickly, and not every review tells the full truth. What I can say, from direct and repeated experience, is that this clinic treats every pet like family, and their compassion is real. If you truly care about finding a vet who puts animals first, come see for yourself. I stand by this place 100%. A Truly Pawsitive Experience! I recently visited this pet clinic and was thoroughly impressed with the warm, welcoming environment and the attentive care both pets and their owners received. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that this place is thoughtfully designed with both comfort and functionality in mind. The waiting area is clean, spacious, and pet-friendly, featuring cozy benches and a variety of pet products neatly organized on shelves. The soothing color scheme and natural wood flooring give it a homey feel, which instantly put both pets and their humans at ease. In the first image, you can see a family with their adorable Corgi interacting comfortably with staff and other clients -- a testament to how relaxed the atmosphere is here. Throughout our visit, it was clear that this clinic values a sense of community. The second and third images capture multiple pet owners calmly waiting with their dogs -- from a friendly Golden Retriever to a beautiful Australian Shepherd -- all coexisting peacefully. That's no accident; it speaks volumes about how well the staff manage the space and the flow of clients. One of the standout moments was seeing a staff member or vet lovingly attending to a large Rottweiler in the last image. This level of personal care and attention shows their commitment to treating every pet like family, regardless of size or breed. The pet was visibly relaxed, lying comfortably while being gently examined. Highlights: Excellent cleanliness and organization Spacious waiting area that accommodates multiple pets comfortably Calm, welcoming environment for pets and people alike Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff Well-stocked shelves with quality pet products Whether you're visiting for a routine checkup or a more specialized service, this clinic offers a supportive and professional environment that puts your pet's well-being first. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any pet owner looking for exceptional care and service!

Long story short, the shelter was not clear or forthcoming about our boy's existing illness and without this clinic he would have surely lost his eye. I really appreciate the practice of being given a quote before any procedures are done. Their procedures are very reasonably priced (especially for this single mom!) But not at the expense of quality of care. I came in recently with a backyard cat we adopted. They let us come to the waiting room 15 min before closing to do a check for fleas, any major issues, gender, and a microchip for an existing owner. He checked out fine and we came back a week later for his first checkup. My 4yo (human child) was SO upset about our new kitty being taken into a back room so they worked to find a solution that made him calmer about his friend. It was so sweet and the care was comprehensive, I really appreciated it. Sometimes I've been hit with vet visits where the bills are astronomical and I don't understand what's happening, this was the exact opposite. The staff are so friendly and put us totally at ease. Also, if anyone cares, I compared the pumpkin and trupanion pet insurance for cats. Personally, I found pumpkin pet insurance covers quite a bit of care and is very affordable, in my opinion.
