I loved the outside patio area, which was enormous, but covered with both tents and amazing pieces of artwork. They had a pretty nice selection of beers on draft and in cans, and plenty of stations of water to keep you hydrated as well. The staff was extremely friendly, and one of the bartenders gave us a free "sample" if you know what I mean, haha. My one and only complaint is that the pizza was not very good at all, and my friend and I both said that it felt like it came out of a microwave when we bit into it. That's the only thing keeping it from a 5-star, perfect review. Overall, I loved this beer garden, will definitely be back, and highly recommend it! I just wouldn't count on their pizza being exceptional.

Great beer selection, good crowds, family friendly, and a really nice European beer garden vibe. Also has a lot of events on weekends, and a ton of TVs and a large projector screen for major sporting events. Cons: Frequency of $10 cover charges on weekends has gone up a lot recently, particularly for ALL world cup games. They also struggle with very long beer lines during events, and food is a bit overpriced for what it is. All in all, a unique place that I'd strongly recommend to anyone looking for a great summer hangout spot, or a nice Czech brew.

I got there early to snag a table, and the team was already hard at work with nearly the entire beergarden packed with fans. The hostess Jenna was an absolute rockstar all night - I don't think she stopped moving or smiling! Not only was she seating guests with poise and insane amounts of charm, but she was also running food and drinks to make sure guests weren't waiting for their orders - in fact, despite there being more than 250 people in the beergarden, we never waited more than 4 minutes for drinks and 12 minutes for food which is pretty impressive given how busy they were inside and outside. We were served by Lana, who legit might have been the nicest, friendliest, most engaging server I have ever met in New York City, and I am not being overly dramatic here. She handled her insanely large section with aplomb, took the time to actually learn our names and address us by names when asking if we wanted to order anything, checked in on us every few minutes even if we did not need anything, and despite likely being tired from all of the guests, the running of food and drinks, and the hustling, she was cracking jokes all night through her radiant and starry smile, and making our group feel like the most important people there despite the fact that we were just three regular dudes enjoying a basketball game. Her attentiveness and personality alone are worth requesting to sit in her section at all times. Food was solid on this trip - our table ordered a half-pound burger which was cooked and seasoned perfectly (came with fries and toppings), mozzarella sticks which were piping hot with a nice crunch on the exterior, waffle fries (had to get them again they were too good last trip), and honey BBQ wings, which although they weren't very meaty (not their fault since I am assuming they didn't butcher the wings in-house - could have just been a lean batch from the supplier), the sauce was addictive and delicious and I found myself dipping everything we ordered into it so it wouldn't go to waste - order the Honey BBQ! All beers came out cold and rapidly (Cobblestones uses plastic for half liter beers when the beergarden is saturated with guests, just be prepared for that - makes sense because of the volume). The rest of the staff was incredible given the chaos. Beergarden manager Pete made it a point to check in on us a couple of times and was very appreciative of all of the guests coming for the game, and you can tell he steers the ship effectively because everyone in the beergarden was focused, attentive, and in the zone during what many bars would be challenged to handle. One final thought - my two friends who came with me (who are NOT "let's go out drinking at night" type of guys) asked me when we are coming back for a Friday or Saturday night - they loved the atmosphere, loved the friendly service from Lana, and loved the food and drinks. The answer? very soon! Thank you Cobblestones!

You go through the line and pick what you would like and add it to your tray, paying for the total at the end, where the condiments and utensils are located. The bar is in the center of the place. You come in and seat yourself, and honestly, the TVs are everywhere, so don't worry too much about not getting a good table. You'll be able to watch your game from anywhere. The actual food was great-the brisket was beautifully seasoned and very tender. We were honestly so addicted to it. The wings, especially the dry rubs, were honestly perfectly done-they had a nice char and smokiness, but the flavors were strong. All the sides paired perfectly with the different meats, and THAT CORNBREAD??? Man, I could eat a hundred of those. I think my favorite sides were the greens and the mac n cheese, super comforting. Also, the pitchers they had were honestly great and perfect for big crowds. I would 1000% recommend this kind of sports bar for bigger groups of friends. Honestly, it's a great place to spend the evening when you don't know what to do or what to eat.

The food and atmosphere is great, but they really need to figure out crowd control at this venue. I…read moredo assume that the cover they've been charging during big sports games probably helps, but the last time I was here it was only half full and the line to get food wrapped around the entire place and was almost out the door. There has to be a better way to organize this. All that aside, Pig Beach is where you want to come when you're craving BBQ on a nice day. The venue is mostly outdoors with a few indoor tables and two bars. Drinks here are well priced and the specials are even better - I paid $5 for a tequila spritz last time I was here. The meat here is really tender and the sides absolutely slap. Even if you're coming here with a vegetarian there are solid options - the mac and cheese and cole slaw are my favorites. Also I never thought I'd be okay with paying $7 for pickles but the half sours here absolutely slap. Last time I went here I had the ribs which were huge and tender, and the jalapeno cheddar sausage that I def didn't need but it was so, so good. If you're coming here to watch a popular game, get here early to snag a spot.

Pick the place on Austin Street and go in and some guy in a baseball hat, jean shorts, Knicks jersey, who took public transportation here acts like he owns my town. Then the servers come to you acting like they arebdoing you a grand favor just by handing you a menu, and the food tastes like it came out of a cardboard box. But Manor Oktoberfest is different. I'm not even kidding. It's sitting right on Yellowstone Boulevard, about four blocks from my place, and walking in there feels really great. I'm part German myself, and the food there tastes exactly like the kind of honest, real meal my grandmother used to make. No fancy, phony presentation just incredible, hearty stuff that knocks your taste buds out of the park. They've got giant, warm soft pretzels with mustard and cheese dip, monstrous burgers that take two hands to hold, stacked tomato and mozzarella style appetizers, and proper tall steams of cold draft German beer in proper glassware that make you feel human again and possiblyin Dusseldorf. The guy who owns the place happens to be a buddy of mine, and he's an absolute terrific guy. A hell of a golfer, too not one of those slick, bragging phonies you see strutting around country clubs like they own the joint, but a guy who can genuinely hit the cover off the ball. If you're sick of all the fake nonsense in this town and just want a terrific meal where people actually treat you right, walk on over to Manor Oktoberfest.
