I usually don't write reviews unless I have positive things to say. However, so many people have given high marks to this place, which I think are undeserved. The service and environment were fine. Was hoping this place could become my "go to Chinese place" but unfortunately it is not. Stopped by for lunch, ordered sweet and sour chicken and sezchuan chicken lunch special with a hot and sour and egg flower soup. Soupss tasted funny asked what was in them waitress said she would have to go read the soup mix can for ingredients. Said they but it at the Asian market. While the Sweet and Sour was nice and crunchy the sauce was poured directly from a bottle and the green peppers and onions had not seen a wok being raw. The sezchuan chicken was over curried and pasty not very satisfying. While reasonable priced and not horrible it was poorly done and disappointing. We won't be back. read more

We drive over to Corvallis from Lebanon just so we can get the delicious Fish in Black Bean Sauce and hubby gets the same only with shrimp. This dish is amazingly scrumptious and served with a cup of rice. We love eating there and I highly recommend it to everyone who likes Chinese food. Service is outstanding too. read more

Best Asian food in Oregon hands done. Me and my wife moved out here from NY and this place can go toe to toe with any Asian restaurant there. My parents have lived out here for over a decade and they were singing the song of all the so called Chinese restaurants out here until last night when we brought them here. The food here was awful. The pork curry was watery and dull, and General Tso's chicken was tough and dry. Unlike the food, the service was great. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Given the terrible food, the price was unduly high. Our bill averaged out to around $14 per person. read more

We called in a carry out order. We were told 30-35 minutes. When we arrived we arrived 30 minutes later and paid for our order, we were told 10 more minutes. We proceeded to wait over 40 minutes in the restaurant for our order. We were never offered even a glass of water while we waited. Won't be back. read more

Wanted to try something new and was not disappointed. Food was delicious. Especially loved the beef short rib soup. It had a tiny touch of celantra. Sweet and sour was delivered with the sauce on the side so nothing got soggy. And Mongolian beef was flavorful and a perfect ratio of meat to onions. Will definitely order here again. read more

Went here for the first time with my family that was visiting. The food was okay... Not anything to rave about, but definitely not the worst food in Corvallis although it was overpriced. The service however was atrocious. We understood that it was busy when we came, but the waitresses looked visibly annoyed when we would ask them for basic things like chopsticks or rice. We never had our water refilled the entire time we were there. The wait time for food was nearly 50 minutes. A group of Chinese students who came in and ordered about 10-15 minutes after us got all of their dishes before us as well... It seemed like the kitchen was putting a priority on their food which is kind of messed up as a restaurant. Overall, I probably wouldn't come here again. I had hoped that this place would be my go to Chinese restaurant in Corvallis, but it just falls short in too many areas. read more

The food here is very good, even if the service can sometimes be hit or miss. I enjoyed the honey walnut prawns here as it is one of few places that offer this dish. Other food options are also very solid and worth the money even if it is slightly on the higher end for college students. The portion sizes are good enough, some dishes are on the smaller side. Some of the worst curry I have ever had. Ordered take out and not only were they out of steamed rice but the curry was so watered down it was almost transparent. Ok, so if you like more "Americanized" Chinese food, order off the regular menu. If you want Traditional, adventurous Chinese food, ask for the "SECRET MENU." I honestly can not say enough good things about this food. And I will say that the servers are so genuine and knowledgeable, patient, and welcoming....it can't be beat. Queen's Chopsticks would have to be the restaurant with the highest quality and delicious dishes in Corvallis. The prices are a bit high but you truly get what you pay for. The food and it's sauces are savory and delightful, vegetables fresh and tender crisp cooked ( not overcook and soggy). I had the Happy Family, which has a variety of meats and seafood, vegetables and tastes delicious. There are other good Asian restaurants in Corvallis but I find the quality of the food and how it's cooked is inconsistent, I think depending on whose cooking. The chicken with garlic sauce was so salty it was inedible. Even my husband, who pours salt on everything, couldn't eat more that one bite. I picked up 2 lunch specials to go, hoping to have food for 2 meals. The portions were quite large, bit we ended up splitting the general tsao's chicken (decent) and throwing out the inedible, over-salted garlic chicken. The hot and sour soup was only ok, and the brown rice was dry. Overall a waste of money and a disappointment. Does the chef not taste what he's cooking? Inedible. Wish I'd eaten in so I could send it back and demand the chef taste what he is making. read more

Amazingly great food! Nice decor, not too bland and not too much flair. when I went there for the first time, we ordered platters of Pad Thai, Sweet and Sour Chicken and a large bowl of Hot and Sour Soup. The Pad Thai was exactly like it should be, slightly sweet and tangy. the exact same story with the sweet and sour chicken; crisp with not too much sauce and not too little. The hot and sour soup was pretty good considering that the restaurant was very busy(a little watery for my taste). The service was excellent, they were checking on us like every ten minutes and my water never ran out. Plus, you can also get spice trays. where else in Corvallis can you get spice trays?! After reading a lot of excellent reviews we decided to have lunch here today. Frankly we were both very disappointed. The lunch menu is pretty limited with very few beef options so my husband had to order Mongolian beef from the dinner menu.It was pretty pricy for lunch. I ordered kung pow shrimp with fried rice and hot sour soup from the lunch menu. The hot sour soup was absolutely the worst I have EVER had. It was grayish looking with zero taste. Just awful. And the fried rice was just steamed rice with a touch of soy sauce. That's it...no vegies or anything. My husband's dish came with steamed rice but he ordered the fried rice also. When our check came they charged him $1.50 for the fried rice. Never going back. read more

It was great while it lasted We are vegetarians and were delighted to learn that most all of the lunch menu items could be made vegetarian by substituting deep fried tofu for meat. We enjoyed many lunches there until about 2 weeks ago. We placed our order as usual and the server brought soup. Halfway through enjoying our soup the server told us that they are unable to substitute tofu for meat. The first reason given was that it was too busy, we had to point out to the server that there were only 2 other couples in the restaurant. Then she said that the chef said that "breading the tofu was too much work"! They have NEVER breaded tofu before, I don't even know if you can actually bread tofu! Then the final blow, the server said that we could order dinner portions of the entrees, with tofu, but we would have to pay extra for the soup we had already consumed. That was the nail in the coffin! We paid for our soup and left, sadly never to return. Good luck with that guys! read more

Easily the best Chinese restaurant in Corvallis, far better than standard Chinese American restaurant fare.

The staff was nice. The beef in my beef and broccoli was pretty slimy and odd tasting but the rice and broccoli was great!

I struggled between 1 and 2 stars for this place since the food itself tastes pretty okay, however the service is atrocious and I was charged $15 for some spinach and 6 prawns. Honestly don't eat here there are so many better options. Basically the main points are -food is super over priced -seafood sizzling rice soup has maybe 1 shrimp cut into about 8 pieces in it -had almost empty water cup the entire time with no refill -panang shrimp is $15 for 6 piece of shrimp and some spinach -our waitress forgot about us so we had to waive a different one down -when flagged down she was noticeably bothered and made no effort to hide it -I spent $23 and Im still hungry -when she took my card to pay she forgot about it and didnt bring it back Dont eat here read more

I was expecting some decent food considering the amount of great reviews. I don't know if it was an off night or what, but the food I got was terrible. The vege pad Thai was especially terrible... Consisting of a bland clump of rice noodles with barely any sauce and almost no vegetables. I could barely choke the garbage down. It was of the quality I would expect from my drug addled teenage nephew at best. When I went in to pick it up, they were all sitting down to eat with what appeared to be a group of family and friends... If they couldn't take the time to make my food with any care at all, I would have much preferred to be told that and avoid wasting my money and time​.
