Someone ordered in pizzas for a party and I got to try two of them - chef special and deluxe special. They were both good. The pizzas are the typical North American pizza with a thicker crust (not neopolitan or thin crust). They came piping hot and are fluffy soft with lots of filling. The toppings went almost to the edge of the crust which were nice. The pizza reheated nicely in both the toaster oven and air fryer. Not too greasy either. I generally prefer neopolitan style of pizza or thin crust pizza, so I'm pretty surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I won't have it all the time but it is good once in a while. It is definitely better than the generic pizza places here like Freshslice and Dominos. read more

$0.99/slice plus $1 for a can of pop In the area this is one of two places that sells pizza by the slice. The place is very hidden and most of their business comes from the local townhomes and apartments. Mainly a carry out place. Pizza by the slice isn't the New York style where it fills the entire plate. You're going to need 4 of their slices to really fill you up. Their pizza by the slice was very lacking. I don't recommend ordering them. As you can see from the photos the toppings was lacking and the dough didn't rise. Hopefully, their full size pizza would be more fair in toppings and sauce. The pizza here is not bad - ample amount of toppings and they've got unique ones such as the tandoori chicken and "the paneer special". I've had it on a few occasions because I was too lazy to go elsewhere. The crust/bottom of the pizza is always so oily. It's good "hangover" pizza but not a place if you are looking for a quality pie. The prices are very fair though and they do half-and-half pizzas. There is no delivery charge within 5 km. However, I wouldn't totally rely on their delivery time as I was quoted 10 minutes but it didn't arrive until 30 min later. Otherwise, a solid pizza joint if you are in the area. read more

Maybe I caught them on a bad night but my recent experience with Queensboro Pizza was very disappointing. I ordered one of the combos: a large Hawaiian pizza that comes with pan of lasagna and garlic bread. First off, it took over 1.5 hours for my delivery order to come. Note that my place is less than 5 min drive from the pizza place. My pizza was mediocre at most, burnt on a few slices. The garlic bread was okay (not sure how you can mess it up anyways) but the lasagna was very sad. There was barely any meat fillings, it was mostly all cheese. Most of the edges were also very burnt and bitter. The lasagna overall was also very bland and flavourless. I mean it is a pizza place so I didn't expect much. Unfortunately, there's not really any other options for pizza delivery around the Queensborough area. I much rather buy a frozen pizza from Walmart and have a better quick dinner than this. read more

Their pizza is usually great but tonight they had absolutely terrible service. When I called and ordered they told me it would be delivered in 30mins. After waiting for over 45mins I called to check on the order. They told me the delivery driver had just left and would be here in 10mins...almost 30 MINUTES LATE! I asked them why they couldn't have called me to tell me of the delay but the person on the phone just kept blaming the driver. This is one of the few cheap pizza places in east Richmond/ Queensborough. I pick up the "super special" from here every once in awhile when craving some grease wheels. Nice spicy sauce but the toppings and cheese are a bit synthetic tasting sometimes. read more

Factoring the price and service, they deserve my 5 stars. We always order the chef special and 3 cheese pizzas. They are quite generous with their toppings. The 1 dollar pre-made ones in the warmer oven are usually much thinner and dried up. Better to order whole pizza instead of the single slices read more

1. Prices are good..it's about the only shop that is still selling a dollar a slice (without tax!) pizza. ..but that's about all the pros there is. 2. Service is non-existent. You won't get so much as a hello, much less chit-chat, but who could blame them? Think of the price you're paying! I think that's fair to be honest. However, what really irritated me is, they couldn't even get their most basic service together, and that's providing the bare minimum of a customer's order. On three separate occasions and not very far away either, they have messed up my order, not once, not twice, but 3 times! 3 times! OH COME ON! The first time was a mix up with another customer. The second time they left out a topping (that I paid for!) The third time they added in onions (and I absolutely loathe onions!) So much that I've had it and I googled this review to give them a piece of my mind. And when you get an easygoing customer going out of their way just to rant about them, you know it's terrible. 3. Pizzas are burnt. Chicken wings are burnt. Lasagnas are .. can you guess? Yep, those are burnt, too. In conclusion, if all you want is a slice of cheap pizza that you can see and know exactly what you're getting, this is a great place for that. At first I had rated it 4 stars because they weren't consistent with the cooking times (we picked up but had to wait longer though we made an allowance of picking up 5-10 minutes late) and also a couple of times the crust was over cooked to a dark brown crispiness. There's something for everyone on the menu and being the only female in the household of males who love meat...from Meat Lovers to House Special, Hawaiian, Greek Special, Deluxe special, Pepperoni, Chef's and Queensborough Special, etc add their 2 for 1 special you can't go wrong. The toppings are generous and the combination of ingredients are compatibly mix, a tasty pleasure with each bite. I am happy to bump the rate to full stars since they've greatly improved in delivering on time and the quality consistency. read more

Love, love, love Queensboro pizza!! Not many places deliver to Queensborough so I gave them a try when I moved here a couple of years ago. Their pizza is consistently excellent, arrives hot and they are also very reasonable. Gives the high priced pizza chains a run for their money. They actually moved into a new location a few doors down and the their new place is 100% nicer and cleaner. Food is consistent and I have never had any problems with the service. Yeah, they have pretty much good deals like the med pizza 2 toppings with 2 cans of pop deal I dig for here an then. The pizza was pretty good better than the boxed pizzas but not much better. The dough was a little heavy and the cheese was plentiful. The best part was how quick it was baked and put in a box. The worst part was when the grease got to the dough and made it soggy a while later. Over all I would recommend this to anyone who likes a basic pizza. read more

Tasty pizza sauce, good price, and good overall taste. $21 for 2 large pizzas. I got a Hawaiian pizza and pepperoni/mushroom pizzas with 2 pops. Good value. When our ESL group at Bethany Baptist Church finishes classes for the spring, we have a Pizza Lunch to celebrate. The 4 large pizzas we ordered from Queensboro Pizza were ready by 11:30 am, and not a single slice was left when the 17 students and teachers were finished eating. The Supreme and the Mexican were my personal favorite with lots of jalapeno peppers, meat, sauce and cheese. We ordered 4 different kinds so everyone got to try the Supreme, Hawaiian, Vegetarian and Mexican. For a total bill of $46.00 the price was the best around. One main problem with some of the other pizza take-out places we have tried in the past is they are skimpy with the sauce and cheese. Not so with Queensboro, they do a great job. WORST pizza ever!!! Lived here 9 years ago and used to order as there were no other options. Been back in QUEENSBOROUGH FOR 2 years now and gave them another try. Just received our order and they forgot our pop, both pizzas have the wrong toppings, tastes like cardboard with a decent sauce. and my wings are 100% drumettes, what happened to the other half of the wing?
