Came back again for more! Food tastes amazing, which is hard to find good authentic Mexican food in Portland!!! Great customer service! The restaurant reminds me of back home in East LA and has a home vibe to it!

TEN STARS! This place is so great it reminds me of the tacos from back in LA with the ambiance of Mexico. She makes the best hand made tortillas, marinades the meat to perfection, and provides very warm service to everyone. This place is a hidden gem on Williams

Amazingly delicious! Friendly and gracious. Our favorite burrito in town. . And try the carrot pickled condiments.

    Amazing salsa roja

The tacos were good, but not anything out of the ordinary IMO, but the standout here was the salsa roja - tasty w/ some serious heat which has been a bit hard to find in this town even w/ so many taco trucks. I also really like the ambience, plenty of tables to sit at, w/ a mix of self made coverings to give it an open air, semi indoor type of vibe. At $3.50 a taco, price is standard. May be back again just for that salsa.

This place was incredibly underrated. Do not sleep on this place! My sister and I were in the area to run an errand and wanted to grab lunch before we did. We parked around the corner from Loa, but we were hit with amazing smells. We followed the aroma to Quesabrosa, which was a food truck across the street. Maybe because I was hangry, but I was antsy on getting my food. I felt it took a while to make our food (more than 5 minutes to just make tacos), but I could see the love that went into making the food. Everything was made from scratch. Case and point: their hard taco shells, which were excellent by the way. They don't use store bought taco shells! Quesabrosa legit deep fried their tortillas in the shape of the shells, and they came out so crunchy. My sister ordered the al pastor in the hard taco shells, and I was lightweight jealous that I didn't order it. I got a fish taco and a veggie taco, and they were great. I could tell their tacos were made-to-order, the produce tasted so fresh, and the flaky, tender fish was lightly pan fried.

    Veggie Sope and Fish Taco

Quesabrosa is where it's at! Their fish taco is honestly one of the best I've ever tasted. Their handmade tortillas are to die for and the seasoning they use on the fish is mouth watering. The Veggie Sope was hearty and loaded with toppings. I definitely couldn't finish the two items I ordered. I was hoping for a tad more flavor on the Sope, but overall it was great! Service was so friendly and welcoming!

Had three tacos (steak, chicken, and carnitas). They were all good and meat quality was nice to where it didn't have much fat or gristle. Cart has a multiple spots to sit with some heated indoors and a little back patio. Both red and green salsa are really good. The tortillas were nice and didn't fall apart which was impressive.

You really can't beat 3 breakfast tacos for $10 w hand made tortillas. I love a fresh tortilla.

Can't beat the price compared to other places nearby. And tortillas made by hand! Delicious and support local small biz!

    Salsas are weak, decent tacos

Delicious! We both got wet burritos (one red, one green) and they were both very good. The salsas were tasty and unique. Would recommend!

It is the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable settling into. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, and the service was genuinely great throughout. We ordered the Quekas with vegan chorizo and black beans and they were SO good, honestly a standout. The chips and guac were also a hit, and I loved that the guac was actually cold. Such a small detail that makes a big difference. The Citrus Salad was super fresh, crisp, and delicious, which balanced everything out perfectly. I also tried the NA classic margarita and it was so refreshing. I loved the subtle touch of orange juice. Overall, such a lovely spot with amazing food, great vibes, and thoughtful details. Today my wife and I enjoyed scrumptious Tacotes, one chicken and one Bok Choy with house made salsa. Also, the Tetela de Requeson, maiz, beans and sprouting broccoli with a house made requeson - kind of like ricotta cheese - very beautifully plated and so delicious. Extra side of yummy and creamy black bean frijoles with sour cream, butter, tortillas. Instead of desert, the Mezcal, chile and lime was refreshing. Right now open for lunch Thursday through Sunday 10-3pm. No fixed menu, changes with what's fresh - the way chef Angel loves to cook respecting what is in season. Service and ambiance is friendly and knowledgeable about the food and its origin - another reason I love dining here so I learn about what I'm eating and how it was inspired. Yes, the food plated looks so good, I am inspired to dig in. There's a reason it was recognized early in its start by Eater, Portland Monthly and the Oregonian as one of the best restaurants in the city because foodies seek out and love to go where the food experience is special - especially the chef tasting menus in the past.
