Came here for dinner so my poutine obsessed daughter could get her poutine fix for dinner. She…read moreordered the Classic poutine as she usually does and a Virgin Blue Hawaiian drink. I ordered an individual size Baja Nomad Nachos. I also ordered a Virgin Witch's Rock drink. We also used up a few coupons that we had for free tacos and ordered Ancho Chicken Taco, Grilled Basa Fish Taco, and Garden Veggie Taco. Forgot to tell the server "no cilantro" so ummm...food wasn't quite as good as usual but I'm not deducting points for that cuz that was our own mistake for forgetting to say "no cilantro." (Big sigh) It's such a pain though to have to keep on remembering to say that everywhere we go. Why don't restaurants realize that not everyone likes cilantro and make it a policy to bring it up with customers? Why don't they remind the customers that there's cilantro in a dish and then ask if the customer is OK with it? Anyone reading this right now is probably thinking I should just get over it and deal with it. I'm really just venting I suppose. The cilantro problem is just hugely annoying for both my daughter and I.

Lots of Benedict's so I naturally had to have one. The good - the meats are really good especially the pulled pork. Very tender and flavourful. The bacon is decent. Altogether the Benedict's are decent though next time I'll focus on the pulled pork. The egg I asked for medium - not really runny. Though that's a really small criticism.

Everyone got the taco ($4.2/each) combinations, which got served with two different hot sauce. I'd say they taste pretty average to me, not enough variety of toppings and a but dry if you don't use the sauce. Beat thing was definitely the churros we got for dessert ($9), really crunchy with generous cinnamon sugar and dulce de leche dipping sauce. Service was good and they kindly helped us take some pictures. Overall, I don't regret going but would not go out of my way to come back.

I like the fun ambiance here, with bright colors and neon. The chairs are more comfortable than they look. It's nice that they have table service, not just counter service. The BTO (better than okay) margarita was quite good. Nachos were also good, factoring in that the cheese is movie theater nacho squirt cheese, not actually melted cheese. But the pickled jalapenos were real, and the addition of pickled red onions was a tasty innovation. Those pickled onions came on the Wilbur pork butt taco, too, although I would have liked more cilantro, too. That taco was probably the most authentic Mexican food I've had in Vancouver. It was served on two traditional small corn tortillas. Service was friendly and prep was very quick, due to the fact that we were alone on a Friday at lunchtime.

Had a friend visiting who had never had a burrito previously so off we went to this Quesada location...closest to my home. This location can be challenging for parking, and understanding this, I parked a few blocks to the east...always great to get free parking. I ordered the spicy chicken (yes again) and it was perfect with the toppings and sauces of my choosing. My friend had the regular chicken with her choice of sauces and toppings...and she enjoyed her first burrito experience. Hard to go wrong at $12.49 for two classic chicken burritos. It was a positive food experience and I look forward to future Quesada promotions.

I was surprised that the appearance and texture of the mushroom were actually rather meaty, similar to carnitas. It was a bit salty for me and my mouth was kind of dry afterwards, but I prefer less salty food so it could just be me; I don't think this was saltier than average fast food. The bigger issue was it was really saucy and made the burrito soggy and very messy. I got my burrito without rice so maybe rice would've helped a little, but even with rice I think there still would've been too much liquid in there. Despite those things, the pulled shiitake filling was tasty and I was glad I decided to try it. Prices are typical for fast food and offer decent (not GREAT, but decent) value for what you get. As for service and environment, the place was clean when I showed up shortly after they opened. There's a few tables and you can always count on seating being available. The person who served me was pleasant and checked in with me about what I wanted during every step of building my burrito.
