I have visited two of the three sites in my area and have found them to be exceptional in these ways: got it done with only one needle stick, got professional and skillful people. Of course I have criticisms but that is not part of this review. The overall care experience is a rare bird these days and I want to share that here. P.S. I arrived at eight on a Tuesday morning without an appointment. The waiting room was full and there were four young women behind the desk loudly discussing what they had eaten that weekend. An elderly man inquired as to when he could do his urine test and the receptionist loudly rebuked him for not telling her he was only there for a urine test. So shaming and unprofessional. When my turn came I went back with the tech who was so surly she couldn't be bothered to say good morning, what arm do you want to use, get ready for a prick, etc. she jabbed the needle in so hard that I'm still very busied two days later. I have never even had a mark after a blood draw. Absolutely zero humanity. Also, their restroom for urine samples is in the middle of the waiting room. Awkward, sad, unprofessional. Not the normal PDL.

I have "rolling veins" that are very difficult to draw blood from. I have been sent away from both other labs after multiple pokes without them being able to draw any blood. Pacific Diagnostics only ever takes one poke. I have been told I had to leave and come back, and the girl is really good at what she does. Never leaves any bruising, never any pain or discomfort. Also the office is very clean and they get you in and out very quickly. THANK GOD FOR THIS LAB!!! If you have any difficulty drawing blood or have "tricky veins" go here!!!

Free parking is very close by, the staff are uniformly professional, it has windows with pretty views, instead of a dungeon like space, Eila is exceptionally patient and kind, as I'm skittish about needles. On 5/12, I arrived at 8am, waited 15 minutes, then asked the pharmacy personnel if anyone was there, and they confirmed no one had come in yet, and that no one ever showed up the day prior. I tried to contact the customer service 800 number, but there was no way to speak with anyone to ask what's going on. Also, the mobile app wasn't working right, even after updating it. I'll be moving my lab business elsewhere!

I greatly appreciate the absolute professionalism, skill and efficiency of Liliana! She works alone, doing intake, checking insurance info, identifying the referring doctors, then drawing the blood samples so expertly and painlessly, that even in a busy morning with lots of patients, we were all on our way out within minutes of arrival! That said, this tremendous and hard-working young woman could surely use a co-worker to assist!

I had such a great experience at Labcorp in Santa Maria thanks to Brianne. You could tell she was under pressure, but she stayed happy, friendly, calm, and professional the entire time. I had an appointment and was worried I might not make it to my client's house by 9 AM. I even asked if I could come back later if the wait got too long, and she kindly said yes, of course. I decided to stay and let my client know I might be 5-10 minutes late. But Brianne worked so efficiently that she got me out of there with enough time to make it exactly by 9. It's rare to see someone handle stress that well while still making people feel comfortable and cared for. Great employee, great experience, and I would absolutely recommend this Labcorp location because of her.

I have made two appointments for this facility using their online system. Got confirmation texts…read moreand everything. Both appointments were scheduled for 3:15PM. BOTH times I showed up and they were closed early. No text to let me know, no notice to reschedule. Do not believe the online scheduling system because if they leave early it doesn't let you know and they will not contact you.
