Very poor service from both a patient and provider standpoint. They disregard requests for specific tests ordered by providers and simply run what they see fit; as a result the patient's infection can't be adequately treated because there may bi issues with resistance. Too bad better insurance companies think Quest is premier lab. Pts would be better if going to LabCorp -even if they have to pay out of pocket. read more

They relocated at 32251 Mission Trail Rd., Suite G-1, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530. You can find it next to Annie's Cafe & El Ranchito Taco Shop. They are open M-F 8am-5pm. If you're checking-in for drug screen, come between 10am-3pm. So when you enter, you need to check-in using the kiosk. After entering your information, you just have to wait to call your name. I came 8:45am on a Wednesday & waited for 10mins which was not bad. It took less than 15mins to get my blood work done. read more

Understandably for waiting time. Had to wear a face mask and temperature taken. Overall good experience. Had a 1 problem though. They did not informed me that i needed to fast before coming in. They should have informed me on appointment confirmation if i have to fast or not. read more

Just moved to the area. This quest is awesome well organized big and clean. I walked in there was 1 person waiting and another walked in at the same time as me. We got called before I could sit down. They have like 6 girls working everyone seemed pleasent. The girl that helped me had glasses didn't get her name was so nice I didn't feel a thing. Anybody that has something negative to say clearly has not gone to another quest in other areas. They are packed 3 hour wait it's awful this was the best experience. I love the kiosk so simple. This location is horrible. Walk in waiting for over 2 hours, now on the 3rd time putting myself on list as went to bathroom twice in the location and they took me off the que when I was at #4 upon going into the restroom for 2 min and a lap technician was the one who let me in. They are unorganized, and do not carry the butterfly needles in, or seem to allways be out when I'm in clinic, as I'm a hard stick with a butterfly needs and over 3 techs which all try at least 2 times or more to get a vein prick me and miss. Then tell me to come back when they have butterfly needles back in, as if I'm supposed to know when that will be. Trying a 3rd time now at locating and going on over 2.5 hours waiting, and have yet to hear if they have butterfly needles in and my name after speaking to representative just now, asked to out my name back on the list as no record of me being here. Will travel the extra 10 miles to a different location next time as this is pure bs read more

If I can give zero stars I would. I checked in on the machine via Express check in and chose to sit in my car because it was crowded in the waiting room and I didn't have my mask. The check in system gave the option of checking in with cell number and they would contact me when ready. I sat in my car for 5 min and had a feeling I should go back inside. I grabbed my mask went inside and never saw my name on the screen. I checked back in, saw my name on the screen, and waited another 10-15 min. After that time, I noticed my name was no longer on the screen and my name was never called. I asked an employee for help and she had someone come speak with me. The girl with glasses was insistent she called my name twice (I never heard my name) and refused to help me. There were people waiting longer than me also complaining something was wrong bc their names were also missing from the screen. I left hungry and pissed that I wasted my morning for nothing. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Shut this place down already. read more

Went to quest for the first time in 4 months. What a difference, and NOT for the good. They changed their machines to check in and there wasn't anyone out front any longer to assist. We were walk ins, which is normally not a problem. People with appointments have priority. We were number 3 & 4 in line. There were 4 people with appointments ahead of us. After trying to figure out how to use the machine, we had to wait almost 3 hours to be seen. I tried asking for assistance from three different employees, and they said they would be with me in a second. Each of them took another 15 minutes plus to assist me with a question. I didn't see any employees from my last visits of the past 6/7 years, and the new employees were completely disinterested in trying to get people through. They would NOT try to fit someone in even if they were waiting for an appointment. If I hadn't been fasting for the past 12 hours, I would of walked out and tried another day. If this is how they want to run their office, that's their right, but they should say NO Walk-ins. Show it on their website on the door or where ever. I guess lab corp it is. read more

This review is for the Lake Elsinore location specifically, not Quest Diagnostics as a whole. Overall, I've been happy with my encounters at other Quest locations, particularly those in Temecula. However, I've had repeated negative experiences at the Lake Elsinore location on Mission Trail. Most recently, I had made an appt in early July for blood work. I made an appointment online and showed up 10 minutes early. I noticed there was a line of people outside in the sun (mind you, it's over 100 degrees that day). I go inside to check-in and a woman was standing at a kiosk right within the doorway. I informed her of my appointment and she said to "wait outside". Uhhh... sure, but I first asked if she could confirm my doctor's orders had been received. No point waiting outside in the 100 degree heat if they didn't have my order. She replied they would check AFTER they checked me in. So, I had no knowledge if they even had the electronic blood work order my doctor sent over & apparently my appointment was useless since I was told to go to the back of the line. I walked outside to go to the end of the line and there were about ten people outside waiting. There were maybe 3-4 chairs, so everyone else was standing in the 100 degree heat with their face masks (thank you, COVID) and there wasn't even full shade. I'm sorry, but that is INFURIATING! Many of us were there because we are sick or injured- why would a healthcare company think it is OK to have sick, weak, & elderly stand in the sun in triple digit heat? It's also worth mentioning, I was getting blood work because the heat/sun was causing my joints to swell horribly, so I wasn't even supposed to be in the sun for more than 10 minutes. After about two minutes, I decided another flare-up was not worth it and left. Oh, and just so you know, the entire waiting room inside with the wonderful AC was EMPTY! No chairs, nothing, except for the receptionist and kiosk by the door telling us to go to the back of the line. So, apparently they couldn't even let the sick or elderly sit inside six feet apart? Complete BS. Anyone that's been there has seen how large the waiting room is. By the time I left, not one person had been called in. My heart broke for all those waiting in the heat and sun to be called in. I checked online and saw there was a two minute wait at other locations in Temecula. I drove out there to the Temecula Quest on Jefferson. No one was outside when I arrived. Odd, I thought. I went inside and lo and behold, they had chairs distanced six feet apart AND people were allowed to stand inside to wait. They checked me in immediately & verified that they had my doctor's order. I asked if it was standing operating procedures to make their clients wait outside? The woman checking me in looked shocked and said No! She said some people choose to as a precaution due to COVID, but they never forced them too unless they were over capacity. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes. Going forward, I'll drive an extra 20 minutes to Temecula where they actually care about people. Shame on the Lake Elsinore location. read more

This is the worst place to get any lab work done. A simple drug test should take about 10 minutes or less. But not here, it takes 2 hours just to be called in. Would not recommend this place at all. read more

I'm only giving 2 stars because the supervisor still did a glucose test for my pregnant wife. But the woman working that had the brown and blonde hair today was a nightmare for my wife. So my wife scheduled a glucose test required by her dr on the quest website for 3pm because that's the earliest they had. She does a mobile check in at 2:51pm today and sits and waits for her name. The woman comes out, calls my wife's name, and brings her back as if she's going for a normal blood draw. When my wife corrected her, she says rudely "well I have to ask my supervisor if we are even going to do this since we close at 4". The supervisor says "yeah.....draw her blood". So the woman is clearly annoyed and starts paperwork for my wife. At this time my wife says "while you do the paperwork I can start on the drink I'm supposed to have before the test so we can not go over your time if you'd like". The woman says "no, you can wait until I'm done"......wow, pretty damn rude. So my wife gets the drink she needs and the woman decides she is going to sit across from my wife and stare at her until she finishes every last drop as if my wife was there for a drug test. Then my wife is so uncomfortable from the the ladies attitude, that she tries to make very little small talk while she does her test, but all she gets is 1 word answers. I'm not saying it's required to make small talk, but as a care provider, or ANY customer service job, wouldn't you be a little nicer? Or atleast not show that you are miserable or agitated? My wife states "I chose a time that was on your site, Im sorry it was close to closing time". The woman responds with "no you didnt".....just like that. The fact that my wife even thinks she has to apologize to this woman is ridiculous. As my wife leaves she tells the woman "have a good weekend". But the woman flat out ignores her. I don't know what's going on in her life nor is it my business, and I'm sorry if she is going through something. But this was totally uncalled for. Rant over thanks read more

This is my experience with Quest Diagnostics. As a low income medical consumer in Lake Elsinore, you will have no say in where you are sent for diagnostics work. It will be Quest Diagnostics.They have a monopoly in the area. Lake Elsinore Family Care Center contracts with Quest for most of their medical diagnostics work. Try and go somewhere else even if you have to pay out of pocket. If you must go to Quest, don't go alone. Take a witness and have them stay with you during any diagnostics work. Well, to start... they took all the walk ins first before they took a scheduled appointment... what is the point of making an appointment if I have to wait for over a half hour? Secondly, the phlebotomist was really rough inserting the needle and really rough when taking out a vile and inserting a new one. I had to fill up 5 viles. Then, I had to give a urine sample and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I had to use the hard paper towels! OUCH! TOO TOUGH! There was another lady waiting to use the restroom and when I got out I told the lady to wait, that I had to let the staff know that they were out of toilet paper. I went to tell the receptionist and she told me to go tell someone else. RUDE lady! She was not busy at the moment I told her. So I had to go interrupt another staff member who was busy with a patient that they were out of toilet paper and there is an elderly lady waiting to use the restroom..making me a rude person for interrupting. read more

Having read other reviews, I was hesitant about going to the Lake Elsinore location. But, having wasted my time going to the Wildomar location only to find it closed and out of business, I went to the Lake Elsinore location. I was a walk-in and waited 25 minutes...not bad. I must say that I hate getting my blood drawn and dread it so much. I was extremely pleased to have JOANN as the phlebotomist. She was quiet at first, it was her first day at this location but she has 20 years of experience. I was so relieved to have no pain, no bruises!!! It did not hurt and I am extremely thankful to have Joann make my visit less stressful. read more
