Went there for my 2nd 3 hour gestational diabetes glucose test. No front desk just 2 lil kiosks where you sign in. TV playing Quest advertisements over and over. I had an appointment they were 20 minutes behind so not too bad. Everything went smoothly. Wish they offered wifi cause there is no signal in there or I must have crappy cell service. Other than that, it was a lil off putting that the young man taking my blood told me to knock on the door every hour as a reminder. I didn't mind because it was busy but I also feel like it's your responsibility to be on top of your patients who are there for longer tests, I shouldn't have to remind you. My issue is not with Quest itself, it's the unprofessional individual I encountered at this location. I came in for my appointment to do my glucose tolerance test. I was asked if I fasted. I said no and that I was told by my doctor that I didn't need to fast for the 1 hour test. This person then gets, I'm assuming a manger, and this person then insinuates that I'm going to fail my glucose tolerance test and need to come back for the 3 hour test. Excuse me?! That is wildly unprofessional and extremely rude. I was stunned by this response and I'm very disappointed by my experience at this location. If I could give Quest Diagnostics a -5 star review, I absolutely would--but unfortunately, one star is the lowest option. The only reason my family and I continue to go to this location is because it's literally across the street from our house. Pure convenience. Other than that, every single experience we've had here has been awful, and today was the final straw. I had an appointment scheduled for 11:20 AM. Knowing how busy they usually are, I arrived early at 11:00 AM, went inside, scanned my barcode, scanned my ID, and followed every single prompt on their check-in machine. I then sat and waited. After nearly 45 minutes of waiting without being called--while watching others go ahead of me--I finally got up to ask a staff member when I might be seen, especially since I had another appointment to get to at 1:00 PM. The employee checked the system and told me I was never checked in and that I "didn't do what I needed to do" to get my name on the board. That was incredibly frustrating because I absolutely followed all of their instructions. Being told it was somehow my fault, after doing exactly what their system required, was beyond infuriating. To make matters worse, the woman I asked for help was extremely rude, unkind, and clearly annoyed that I even approached her for assistance. There was no empathy, no attempt to resolve the issue smoothly--just attitude. The care was horrible. The atmosphere of this location is also terrible. The waiting room is tiny and completely impractical. There's barely room for people to sit, let alone for patients who come in with wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, or other mobility needs. It feels cramped, uncomfortable, and honestly not accommodating at all. On top of that, it always feels understaffed, which probably explains the constant chaos--but it doesn't excuse it. Overall, this Quest Diagnostics location is disorganized, unfriendly, and incredibly frustrating to deal with. This is my new spot for getting my Lab services. This location is perfect! I was greeted by the staff when I came in. I was already checked as soon as I came inside the door! I made an appointment before I came. I was called in by Kiana! She greeted me so pleasantly , took her time, and took my blood, NO problems, Kiana was straight to the point, such a sweet young lady!she was VERY professional, and I made sure that she knew that! This is the second time within 30 days that I have came in, doing a check in on my phone! I was at Quest no more than 8 minutes total! The PROS: Make an appointment, and keep it! When you open the doors here, have a seat, and check-In, that's it! You don't need to check in on "THEIR" machines, I promise, you! Kiana called me after sitting only 1-2 minutes! Although staff is typically friendly and professional this office can't seem to stay on schedule- I don't know why they even bother w appt times- scheduling first thing in the morning and we are here 45 mins in the lobby. I took my 82 year old mother to this location today as a walk-in for a routine lab test. We did not have appointment. We checked her in at 6AM. My mom was #3 on the Stand-by list at 6AM. I do understand that patients with appointments need to get seen FIRST. But they did not call the #1 on the Stand-by until around 7:30 AM. The #2 on Stand-by was seen at 9AM. My mother, #3 on the list was seen at 9:45AM. That was 3 hrs and 45 mins of waiting For the keyboard commandos, I know you will all say "next time, make an appointment". I get that. All I am trying to say here is that there maybe a better way to handle walk-ins (stand-by). Like maybe taking in at least 1 patient on the stand-by list every 30 mins? At least that is how it is being done at LabCorp (where I do my own lab tests). This is not in any way meant to trash Quest. Im just saying that there maybe a better or more efficient way to handle Stand-by patients. read more

Pro tips: 1) Make that appointment! It'll only be a waste of your time if you don't. Walk-in, that's on you and good luck to you! 2) Keep arranged appointment! AND be early!! If not on either, now you're just wasting others time. Don't be that person. 3) Have all the pertinent information ready! Either paperwork or memorized. It helps keep the process moving. Don't delete any emails or texts. You'll need them, I promise you. 4) Please be patient!! The ladies there already have a demanding job to perform, so let them. And adding to their difficulties can be the check-in and/or internet system not working, and other visitors being uncooperative. I can't stress these enough! I normally wouldn't think to review a lab intake location, but why not? I had to get my routine annual stuff done and my Doctors office doesn't draw blood anymore. Anyway, went to this location two weeks ago and unfortunately due to an admin screwup at my doctors office, Quest never got the order and we couldn't resolve it on the phone quickly and I had to leave. The first time the phlebotomist basically had no personality, and like a lump of protoplasm just sat there. Fast forward to today.... I made another appointment after double checking to ensure the lab order was there. Got to this location did the quick check in and waited 15 minutes. As an aside, this location probably draws a lot of its clients from sun city and Aliante in general. I always feel like I'm the youngest in the room among the waiting folks (and I'm getting up there). But what strikes me a bit off is the fact that a good number of older folks seem to have a problem using the automatic check in kiosk dealie. I've had to help folks check in on several visits. I get that having a human at a desk is costly, but it seems like it would be an improvement here. Anyway, got called (the phlebotomist actually managed not to butcher my name), went into the drawing room and verified all my information. But lo and behold..... she (Crystal) actually had a personality and was cheerful and engaging and acted like she enjoyed chatting with a patient and not just dealing with an arm and a hard to find vein so to speak. Don't Blame Quest When making your appointment online, be sure to click "SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT". If you do not, then your appointment is not confirmed. (I once made this mistake. My fault, not Quest's.) Be sure to confirm that the doctor has sent the correct order to Quest. You can log-in online and see which orders have been submitted. My doctor's office sent orders with the wrong date, so it was a wasted trip for me. (My fault for not checking, not Quest's). Be sure to ask if the tests you are getting are covered by your insurance. I once had one that I was billed for later. (I should have asked in advance. My fault, not Quest's.) Be sure to check-in either via the text message that they send, or at the kiosk. (If you do not check in, it's your fault, not Quest's). Be sure to listen for your "real" name. A lady had been sitting there for over 30 minutes and her name was never called. She kept giving the name "Sally", but they couldn't find a record for her. Well, her real name was Sarah, but she went by Sally. (Her fault, not Quest's). Make sure you see your name on the electronic board. If you do not see it after you checked in, politely ask someone. Most of the staff members are courteous and kind. (A few years ago there was a woman who worked there who had a very negative attitude and a very unpleasant demeanor, but I have not seen her at this facility in the last 2 years.) read more

I have been coming here for a few years. I've always been able find an appointment online for whatever date and time frame I needed. I check in on my phone or on the kiosk in the lobby when I get there and my name pops up on the waiting list screen right away. I'm usually called right at my appointment time. I've only been called once after my scheduled time and that wait was only 10 minutes. The phlebotomist (especially Kristina) finds my veins right away. My veins are very hard to find. I've had experiences in multiple hospitals where it took a team of people to find a vein. I have many chronic illnesses and need labs frequently. Awful experience. Made an appointment for 9:10am. Arrived on time and the service in this area is really bad. Couldn't check in on my phone. Used their iPads to check in and they don't work very well the buttons are sticky but after several minutes I was able to check in. This place was PACKED at 9:00am. I thought it wouldn't be an issue because I had an appointment. 9:45am passes and I start noticing people coming and going that weren't there as long as me. There's no one there to help all the staff is in the back unless they're calling someone's name. I am making this review so that quest sees it and responds like they have on other reviews because I have been waiting for their office to contact me since 1/22. I logged into my account and made my annual routine bloodwork appointment, and after scheduling, it said that I had an outstanding balance that I needed to take care of, and there was a form to contact customer service/billing, and I filled it out asking for someone to reach out to me because I don't know why I would have a balance. I come in once a year for my routine bloodwork and my insurance covers it at 100%. No one ever reached out to me and my appointment was this morning 2/4, so I show up for my fasting labs, and the lab technician takes me back, enters all my information but then turns me away and says I would have to pay the $200 balance; and I explained that I left a message for billing to contact me because I don't know why I have a bill. She says the last bill was $1000 and the insurance paid 80% and I owe 20% so I owed $200 and I said that can't be right because my insurance pays my blood work 100% once a year; and I pulled up the email to show I contacted billing but was still waiting on billing to contact me but still she would not take my bloodwork unless I paid the full amount owed, yet there was no one I could talk to there about billing and the online billing office was closed, this was 7 AM. It was just an inconvenience that could've been avoided if they did what they said they would do and contact me about my billing issue. Regardless, it's still a poor business model that you would turn someone away over $200 if the insurance is paying $800 and you have a contract with that insurance company. You shouldn't allow us to even make the appointment in the first place and then you should do your job like you said you would in the email and contact me so we could resolve it. The whole situation was very unprofessional and a sad representation of healthcare. read more

I was super early to my appointment about an hour and only waited about 20 minutes before I was seen. Once I got in the phlebotomist took all my information again, she took about 7 Viles of blood. Once she started looking for A vein she found one quickly and drew my blood with no pain, she was a professional. From the beginning it started off bad. The tech, I bel8eve her name was Terry, must be some kind of dominatrix. I ask for the lites needle and that is were she became the dominate one and tried to belittled me for requesting it. Then she couldn't find the vein, after I told her as I sat down I probably didnt have enough fluids. After digging in my arm with the needle, I had enough of her irrogance. I ask it to be removed and gather my things to leave. Of course as I am leaving she said a remark " next time drink more water". Which I replied "that wasn't the problem". Quest diagnostics opens at 6:30am. From my experience I always like to go early to avoid long wait. So I show up at 6:20am. There's already three other people waiting. When you walk in there's two computer like machines that you have to check in for. You can make an appointment but you can also walk in. I didn't make an appointment but it is first come first serve. You can check in on the quest diagnostics app. So this man who was one of the three that was waiting before it opened, walked in sat down and a minute later got called back. I checked in. You enter your phone number and It scans your drivers license and your insurance card. Then you sit down and wait. It's different and weird to not have anyone at the desk checking you in. It's just the machines. A minute later I was called and got my blood work done. I was in an out in ten minutes. The staff was friendly. read more

The staff is completely unprofessional, I only had to come in for a work related drug panel test but they couldn't see me because I didn't have an appointment. The appointment system was down but I checked online and it said walk ins were welcome. I came in 30 minutes before closing and added myself to the list of 2 other people. They had me waiting for 30 minutes for absolutely no reason. The 2 people before me were both helped but then at closing time they finally came out of the back to tell me they will be closing now and I just wasted my time because I didn't have an appointment. Terrible! I should have checked Quests reviews before coming here. This review is for the one in Walmart's Pharmacy on Losee- they don't have a Yelp for them so I'm doing it here since it's Quest. I went to get tested for covid and still no results. It's been 5 days. People need to know in order to go back to work. It says results provided in less than 2 days on their website. I waited in the drive-thru for my scheduled appointment time and I still had to wait 30 min in my car- I waited behind 1-2 cars and had to wait at the window. They also make u drop off your swab in a box that everyoneee sick or not sick touched, and they don't provide a wipe or hand sanitizer like other places. They are increasing the risk of transmission of Covid here by not providing those things! read more

I walked in around 230 and was seen immediately without appointment. I was very blessed for that due to most places having long wait times. My phlebotomist was Anthony and he did an exceptional job. No pain with blood draw which is not common for me, and he was very patient with explaining other collections needed. 10/10 recommend them and this facility. read more

Aliante is the worst location! if you can go to another one I would highly suggest you do! they are always running behind and even with an appointment you will wait at a minimum 30 minutes! the techs arent friendly and treat you as if your the problem, they seem to be upset because of the delay when they are the ones causing it! Had no appointment signed in on the kiosk was told it could be anywhere from 30-60mins for a walk in as soon as I sat down they called me back there was a women setting everything up she let me know up front what my insurance might not cover and gave me the option to go forward, and a guy who actually took my blood I let him know ahead my veins are super different (always let ppl know as I hate being stuck a bunch of times, after the second try I will leave) he looked at one arm seen he couldn't get it and went to the other arm he got it on his first try seriously appreciate him not just trying the first arm! As far as covid protection, I wouldn't say there is anything in place. There are chairs lined up on the outer edges of the small room which are not 6 feet apart. When you arrive with an appointment or not, it's all walk in basis. First come first serve, so not to sure why I was even given an appointment time. There are iPad like devices to check in when you arrive which everyone touches on and they are not wiped after each use. The phlebotomist was very nice. read more

I came here as a walk in. I had to wait approximately 10-15 minutes for my turn. The waiting area is spacious enough, or you can wait in your car and they will text you when it's your turn. There is ONE option that will lead you to "talk to a staff" BUT no answer and voicemail is NOT SET UP. Good luck getting help if what you need is not in their automated messages already. As a walk in, go at your own peril. All I needed to do was drop off a specimen but was forewarned by my provider to make an appointment. I did so online three days before prior to the day I wanted. There was already limited times. I checked 12:10 and, on the date, arrived 10 minutes early. I went to sign in at their kiosk but I was not in their system and did not have an appointment. There is no one to talk to at this facility, just an open room with two kiosks, two tvs (only one was working), and numerous chairs. And no bathroom. I signed in anyway as a walkin and waited. I finally interrupted one phlebotomist and they said they would look me up. They came back and asked if I had a confirmation on my phone or email. I had to admit I did not and must have messed up somehow. So I waited two hours before finally giving up and leaving. Two hours of total boredom as there is no internet coverage and I could not use any apps on my phone. Please be sure you have a confirmation when scheduling online. Do not use this particular location as a walkin. It is very busy and the wait, as a walkin, is interminable. read more

I am fairly new to the area and this was my First time to Quest Diagnostics, N Aliante Pkwy! Had an appointment, walked in, completed user friendly self check-in, sat down and within 5 minutes was called back! Carrie was my phlebotomist and I'm telling you she is wonderful! After patiently listening to me explain my past history with bad veins and bloodwork, she proceeded to draw blood on the first try with no pain! Barely felt the needle go in! I have a high tolerance for pain normally but NOT when it comes to drawing blood! I want to recognize Carrie for her exceptional skills and care! There are good stickers and bad stickers! She is definitely one of the BEST! It takes special people to work in healthcare and she is one of them! Nice clean environment and everyone there was very friendly and helpful! I will definitely be using Quest Diagnostics, N Aliente Pkwy and highly recommend them to others! read more

Walked in yesterday at about 3:15...not knowing that they closed at 3:30. SO glad I made it! I was ordered to have blood work done 3-4 days before my kidney stone surgery, and this location was the closest to my house with the highest rating so far. I've had blood drawn a million times. I've NEVER had it be completely painless like this. I wish I'd have gotten the name of the girl who helped me, because she was amazing. She was personable, she was quick, thorough, and I LITERALLY did not feel a thing when she stuck me. I've had easy sticks before, but this was on another level. I was in and out in 9 minutes. Absolutely amazing. Couldn't be happier with my experience, and if I need more blood work, I'll be coming back here. read more
