Her comment immediately created tension throughout my visit, to me, she didn't seem to consider how her words might affect someone already dealing with health concerns. There has also been a recurring tone in her interactions that makes me feel as though my care isn't worth her time or that I'm not paying "enough" for her service. Patients should not walk away from a visit feeling dismissed or judged while seeking medical care. It is clear to me she needs to learn or relearn basic bedside manners and rethink how she communicates with the people she is supposed to be caring for.
