    Quiche Lorraine, croissant

Wow!! This place is a hidden gem. Cozy mom & pop shop. We chose to sit outside on the relaxing back deck, where we made a chipmunk friend! The menu had so many delicious sounding options but we were advised by the owner that their quiche was the best - and he was not wrong!! Both the Quiche Lorraine and Veggie Quiche were excellent. The star of the show for me was the almond croissant... it was unbelievably delicious!!! The owners were kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Seems like a nice mom-and-pop restaurant. Was a great pit stop on the way to Montreal and the quiche lorraine was great. I also had marmalade for the first time in my life and now I am addicted. Give this place a shot and you won't regret it.

    Key Lime Heaven!

A delightful surprise! Quiche Et Crepe features homemade, organic real food that is delicious. We stopped for lunch and it was like we'd been transported to a French bistro. I had the salmon and asparagus crepe--a wonderful combination textures and flavors. My husband had the bacon and broccoli quiche which was also delicious. The menu has something for everyone and there is light fair to steak panini. I highly recommend stopping to taste excellence and real care for delicious food. We enjoyed the key lime dessert. I forgot to take pictures of our meal but I've included the one of dessert. Magnifique!

Lemon meringue. Delish and so fresh. Couldn't resist and it didn't disappoint

Found this on Yelp and glad we stopped in. The croissants took me back to Paris with their buttery flakiness and softness. Lovely couple owns the place and I can't wait to return to try more. highly recommend.

They were able to take us with no prior reservation which was great! Really authentic ambiance, it feels like the place has been there for a long time. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and spoke both French and English. The menu also was in both languages which was uber convenient. We went with combo dinner that included (1) a choice of an appetizer, (2) a soup or small salad, (3) main course, and (4) coffee/tea. The pricing for the whole thing was very affordable - 38 to 52 Canadian dollars which is a steal if you are in the US. The desserts are at extra cost - 7-9 Canadian dollars... Both my friend and I enjoyed our food. The highlight was the melon with blue cheese appetizer - very elegant and eclectic dish that doesn't compare to anything I tried before. The rabbit leg with prune sauce was also unusual and a must-try. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area next time.

The vegetables were boiled to insipidness. Our waiter was up-beat and very attentive, describing the menu in glowing terms and making a valiant effort to raise our dining experience from the dead. But when you're dead, you're dead. We really wanted to like this place as a friend, who knows food, had recommended it. He enjoyed a meal there several years ago. I hope that they rediscover their glory days.

Our server, Gibelle, was professional, welcoming, and provided us (along with her team) a smooth dining experience from start to finish. She also made sure that there was excellent timing on service throughout the meal. The food was outstanding. My husband ordered Steak Frites. I had the Tartelette de Champignons. Both dishes were delicious (I got to share a bite of the Stake Frites) The Tartelette was rich with the medley of mushrooms, beautiful pastry crust, and a rich blend of of eggs and cream to hold it all together. For dessert we shared Mousse au Chocolate and Taste au Citrion en Verrin. The only downside was we were so full, we could not finish them, The space is open and light with tables spaced out and benches around the outside. The whole space was clean, modern and airy. This is the sort of restaurant I would come back to Burlington just to have dinner here! Yes - I would include this restaurant on my "I would drive out of my way to eat here" criteria.

Escargot was some of the largest and most tender snails ever. So good they concerted a non-believer. Lamb was cooked to a great medium rare with divine local vegetables. We were seated immediately upon arrival, and our server greeted us right away. Since we had another appointment to get to, we let her know we were in a hurry, and she did a great job expediting our order. Our food arrived surprisingly quickly. My oldest son ordered the beef bourguignon, which was very tasty, although the mashed potatoes could have used a little more salt. My youngest had the croque monsieur and really enjoyed it. My wife ordered the curried chicken salad. She liked the salad itself but wasn't impressed with the croissant it was served on. I ordered the steak frites. While the steak wasn't the best cut, it was cooked properly and well seasoned. Overall, the service was excellent and the food was decent, but nothing really stood out enough to make me want to return. There are other restaurants in Burlington that I would choose to try before coming back here.

I think they would have been better off if Remi the rat ( well for accuracy, a mouse in their case) cooked the food. Credibility would have been at least sub par. For our main courses I ordered their grilled pork chop but starting with their spring onion bisque. My wife decided on their hamburger without a bun. Our food was delivered, relatively quickly, just enough time in between our courses! The spring onion bisque was absolutely delicious! My pork chop was perfectly cooked and perfect. I've never had sautéed green onions before, but it was a great compliment to the pork chop as well as the Romasco sauce. My wife's burger looked tasty. She ordered it medium well and was delivered well done. We were too full to even considered dessert. However, that didn't stop me from having another one of those delicious Brooklyn cocktails!
