Definitely, definitely go someplace else. The older man that works here is an unapologetic, aggressive liar. He presents unfinished work as "savings" while attempting to charge more than the full work order. Read on for the rant if you like, or just go next door. I brought six curtain panels to be cleaned and re-hemmed, he would not quote a price. A week later when I pickup the same man greets me with "great news, we saved you money, the hem on two were intact, we only did 4." With my savings: $250 for 6 curtain panels. I express that this isn't an acceptable price without a quote. He remembers not giving me a quote, but refuses to compromise. He's holding the pickup receipt. His volume increases, he immediately gets personal by asking if I have "ever been to a cleaner before." My volume admittedly increases now too. I asked him to show me this price documented on the pickup receipt, he keeps it from me. Shouting back and forth, directly mocking me to other customers. He is still holding the receipt. A woman employee steps in. She wants to go to the cleaner next door to validate their price of $25 a panel, I call my old cleaner and get a price over speakerphone, an unprompted $15. We compromise on $150. $60 (their tailor's price) for the hem, $90 (my cleaner's price) for the cleaning. Great deescalation, I feel better. As I leave she says "you pay $60 more than expected, we lose $60, it's okay." Quick math: this doesn't make sense, they compromised $100. I'm not going to argue. I admit it's to my benefit, and the card has been swiped anyway. I want to get out. I just looked at my pickup receipt a week later. The man refused to show it when I asked to see a the price, but the woman returned it with my credit card receipt. There was a price on it after all: $210 for 6 cleanings and 6 alterations. The man was charging me $250 after my "savings" of only requiring 4 alterations. Their business model: don't complete the work, jack up the price. read more

Took my suit in to get it cleaned and was told I need to wash my suit before they would clean it for me...... Am I missing something there??? Wash my clothes before I have them dry cleaned?! That's some major BS wouldnt reccomend this place to anyone. I used to come here whenever I needed tailoring (they can hem pants but dont expect the hem to be perfectly straight....) but after coming once to try and get my clothes cleaned I wont be returning and hope no one else does read more

Sunny and her husband operate two dry cleaning businesses so they know what they're doing and always offer great service! Sunny works out of this location. She leaves her business open until 7 p.m. during the weekdays so her customers can come by after work to pick up their dry cleaning, which I think is very thoughtful of her. I came in with white jeans and a white skirt that needed to be refreshed, and they came back sparkling white! Sunny also has a fantastic seamstress on site who can tailor all your clothes (she was the previous owner). I got several jacket sleeves hemmed very nicely for a very reasonable price. However, the seamstress gets kind of displeased if your jacket has a lining or the sleeves have a row of buttons on them because, obviously, those are harder to hem/tailor. But she still grudgingly did mine. LOL In short, Quick & Clean is SOOOO much better than Fashion Cleaners that is just down the street, across Fremont Avenue. I stopped going to Fashion Cleaners several years ago because when I picked up my dress shirts, they still had stains on them. I asked the worker what they did since it looked like all they did was iron, but not dry clean or launder, the shirts. She had nothing to say and didn't have the best attitude either. I ended up washing the shirts at home myself and ironing them...I did a better job than these supposed professionals at Fashion Cleaners. So since these two dry cleaners are literally in the same area of town, I highly advise you to get your dry cleaning done at Quick & Clean with Sunny! read more

If I can rate this lower I would. I went in for a quote and the male employee informed me that to alter my garment it would be 30$. The next day I receive a phone call informing me that the garment would not be 30$ and it would be more that the price given to me was incorrect. I spent a half hour on the phone letting the employee know that I would be paying 30$ and picking up my garment on the day and time I inquired. When I picked up my garment not only was it not in the bag, it was not ironed and the hem was not straight. I will definitely be taking my money to a different establishment from now on. read more

This is my favorite dry cleaners! They do a GREAT job with alterations and are very reasonably priced. They always tell me up front when there might be an issue with a stain or a crease or something, and they never complain when I forget to pick up my clothes for a few weeks (oops). Stay away. I live 1.2 miles from this place. I walked there to pick up the first thing I had them clean, a sports jacket. When I arrived the lady said, "it's $8.50. (should probably be a $$$$ rating for price) It seemed high but I offered my debit card. Although she did not mention that I'd need cash when I dropped of my jacket, she now said there's a $10 minimum for cards, cash only. I told her I walked and wanted to return home with the jacket. She said, "you can pay the $10 minimum". I think $8.50 is already high, and was unwilling to give these people any extra money. The lady was extremely nice, like a christian at church nice, but the man (her husband?) was mad. He glared at me like an enemy because I was trying to get my jacket without cash. Trust me, if you live in South Pasadena, try Halverson's across from Trader Joe's, or go across Fair Oaks to Fashion Cleaners. They're less expensive and won't send you home without your clothes because you don't have cash. Don't waste your money on this place. And since I wasted however long it takes to walk 2.5 miles (twice) I feel confident telling you to not waste your time, as well as the money. --- I JUST NOW I PICKED UP MY sports jacket. And to be fair, the christian lady said that if I had charged the $10 minimum,I could have deducted the $1.50 from my next cleaning bill. What do customers expect from a cleaner? Quick and Prompt services! I am not the kind of person to leave a negative review, but i need to this time about this cleaner. Unlike their business name, the women at the counter pretends to be friendly and continues to chat about useless things even when there are more customers WAITING for their turns in line. Either you become the one to listen to her unnecessary chat, or the one to waste your time in line waiting; it BOTH sucks. When it finally becomes your turn, BE AWARE that your promised clothes may NOT be there on time to be picked up. (I dropped a pair of pants just to hem on Saturday, and it was still not ready on Wednesday evening) But all you will get be excuses that you don't need to hear. If it was a complicated job, I "may" try to understand, but IT WAS JUST PANTS CUTTING!!!! Even worse, why didn't she give me a call in advance to let me know that they cannot keep the promised date and ask for my understanding before I make a trip to the shop! I ended up with another trip at closing, and there was no discount or nothing to compensate for their mistakes. DISADVANTAGES are all yours! BE AWARE! read more
