Cute spot for breakfast and brunch! Parking is limited, but I've been lucky enough to find a spot each time by arriving as someone was leaving. The lines can get pretty long, especially for takeout, so I recommend ordering ahead when possible. That said, the staff does a great job, and the line usually moves quickly. The pastries are always fresh, the staff is friendly, and they even have merch available for purchase. The coffee and drinks are delicious, and my favorite item is the breakfast burrito. Wow this place is worth the hype. We got there around 11am on a Saturday and while not horribly packed, we did have to wait a while in line. Really enjoy this place! The workers and the other patrons are so friendly and make you feel like you're part of the community. I had the chili oil eggs with ham. They were great and the toasted bread that came with it was so good. I'm not even that into toast but I ate all of it. I do wish you had the option to get sausage or bacon instead of ham but it was still great. Our party also had a breakfast burrito which was a little small but still tasty and an avocado chicken salad on a croissant which was great. A vibrant clean esthetic decorated with Porsche themed items mainly 911s with self service by ordering at the cash register and they will give you a number and bring you the items ordered. There are a handful of seats indoors and some outdoors in the small parking lot. Lots of free street parking lined outside against the train walls. Food comes out pretty quickly upon ordering. Their coffee/latte/cappuccino are perfectly made strong without the bitterness so I can actually skip the sugar in the cappuccino. Last time I came by and ordered the salmon toast - something that's usually a nice option if you don't know what you want. This time, we ordered the chilly egg scramble and the chilaquiles. Both are decent. We also tried the Kougin Amman - unfortunately that was too much bread for us and wasn't particularly special. There is only 1 unisex bathroom so time it right! read more

My friends live nearby and while staying with them, I decided to walk over and give this place a try. I was delighted to find that they host a cars & coffee event every sunday, so I was graced by multiple sweet rides and the beautiful cacophany of an internal combustion orchestra. The line was long, but I got to pet multiple four-legged friends gracing this place with their presence while waiting. I also checked out their website and was excited to see that a new location is opening in Florida (where I visit frequently). The place is open and airy and was neat merch. The chili oil, green onions, and furikake added a nice little spice and savoriness to the soft scrambled eggs. I opted for focaccia bread, and with the miso butter on top, it was a very umami toast. The London fog latte was also good; it is for mornings when you do not want to be overstimulated by a ton of caffeine, but just a tad to get your day going. I've had Sunday Motor on my list for a while and I ended up visiting on the perfect day -- Sunday. I didn't realize that the place hosted car meets, but it was really cool to see many nice cars come by and talk to some of the people. There was a line out the door to order at the counter, but there is seating both inside and outside the cafe. The cafe also sells merch, but fair warning, although everything looks really high quality, it isn't cheap (a sweatshirt sells for $110). The inside of the cafe is also cute and modern with car elements, but one would never know that it used to be a gas station. The menu had lots of interesting items and bf and I ended up getting a latte, kimchi grilled cheese, and cucumber salmon toast. My bf wasn't a big fan of the kimchi grilled cheese, but I liked my latte (spectacular latte art) and my cucumber salmon toast was pretty good. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by our time at Sunday Motor and would consider coming back on another Sunday! read more

As a car guy, I heard all about this tiny eatery. It has an automotive theme but the food is not "burgers and fries." I call it fresh and creative with a healthy attitude. The crowd is a mix too. On weekends, the too small parking lot is filled with sporty cars and the seats filled with petrol heads. But during the week, the mix is classy locals, laptop focused gen X types and ladies with friends dipping the excellent coffee of simply marvelous hot cocoa. We usually have the Chili Eggs ... a hip and spicy take on scrambled. The toasted wedges are reason enough to try this one. My friend had the salmon and dug in like he was just rescued from being stranded on a deserted island. Yup, including yummy noises.
