The close proximity is one of the reasons I chose the Paris Baquette. The pastry shop is clean, brightly lit and most importantly quiet enough to have a conversation. As my buddy and I played movie critics we chose our desserts. They make pastries daily. We went with the "Strawberry Lemon Cream Croissants" $6.69. The croissant was definitely fresh and delicious. A little high in price. but the quality and taste were there. They offer Lavazza coffee. I can't remember the price but it was not out of line. This is the perfect spot for a cozy winter date. I ordered the Eggplant Toast and my Husband ordered the Kofte. Everything was served up quickly. I have been craving most eggplant toast since. It was so delicious, and so filling for just a toast! It came packed with arugula, micro-greens, and pickled onions. The kofte was similarly delicious and came with lots of rice and salad on the side. For desert, we both shared a piece of baklava, which did not disappoint. I will definitely be a regular at Baklava.
