On my morning walk, I stumbled across Toastique and decided to give it a try. Since I still had three miles to go, I didn't want anything heavy, so I ordered the lime, ginger, and blue spirulina refresher. It was the perfect pick-me-up--bright, refreshing, and full of flavor. The space was clean, inviting, and had a fresh vibe to start the day. The staff greeted me right away and had everything ready right at opening time (7 a.m.), which I really appreciated. The menu looks great--lots of toasts, smoothies, and light bites that feel perfect for breakfast or a post-workout snack. I'm planning to come back later this week to try more things on the menu. Pleasant experience! Staffs are welcoming and they greet you when you come in. Has chargers on their bar seating. Restroom is clean and spacious. Food is good and presented class! Matcha tastes great! Parking is garage or street if available. High chair and koala kare seen. Wifi available and strong connection. Interior design is aesthetically calming to the eyes. I had the opportunity to try their Smoked Salmon Toast and their Tomato Burrata Toast. As well as their Iced Vanilla Latte and Iced Blueberry Lavender Collagen Latte. They have a ton of fantastic options including Gourmet Toasts, Hand-Crafted Coffee, Smoothie Bowls, Cold-Pressed Juice, Smoothies, Wellness Shots, Grab and Go Snacks, and Housemade Treats! I had never been to this restaurant and met a friend for breakfast. I had the avocado smash with a poached egg and coffee. The ingredients were so fresh. The watermelon radish was gorgeous color and crisp. The pickled tomatoes added the acid that cut the richness and balanced the flavors. The coffee was a bit expensive for the cup size but was good and required a second cup. It was bright white and clean. read more

Finally tried this place after its grand opening a couple of weeks ago. The menu has something for everyone between all of the toasts, smoothies, açaí, and other items. I got the spicy crab on gluten free toast and the ginger berry smoothie. My toast did take some time to come out and it was really delicious. Had a nice kick to it and the crab was fresh. I will note that it was two pieces of bread since GF is smaller but overall the size was comparable to the regular bread, which my coworker was raving about. Everything was fresh and delicious. The good - presentation of food was great. Food was good.. The bad: Incredibly slow service. Hostess was not helpful at all and bordered on rude. Coffee was bitter, and it was an effort to get it from the dispenser / had to get staff help. Multiple parties served before our order was complete. When asked where our smoothies were 20+ minutes after our order was placed and several people served who arrived after us were served, I got a 'we're working on it' from aforementioned hostess. As if I'm bothering you. No 'sorry for your wait'. Well, I got the obligatory 'sorry for the wait' when the smoothie was finally delivered. So there's that. But certainly not friendly. Not coming back. So many other options around. Nice concept, terrible execution. read more

new healthy beauty in town and I'm not mad about it. love this chain from my previous experiences in another location-- but can I just give flowers to the team working here: super helpful in letting me sample the juices until I settled on the flavor I wanted, knowledgable on the menu & the owner Benson did a little drive by to check in on us while we finished our meal. bustling for a Monday, this location is new new & tucked nicely into the Valley National Bank building. if street parking isn't available, the parking deck at the Hyatt is across the street. tip: they have an app- so if it's busy during prime time for lunch, order ahead and come right in to pick up your meal for grab and go. there is also a kid's menu available. I absolutely love everything about this place. The food is incredible (my go-to is the salmon toast), but my favorite menu item is the chai. It's perfect when hot (and will help you if you have a runny nose thanks to all of the yummy spices), but the absolute best way to have it is iced with a pump of cardamom syrup. I stopped in after a conference at the hotel next door, and it was such a welcome change to have a fresh, healthy meal after a few days of not eating so well.
