I went here because I was craving a gyro but decided to get the mixed vegetable platter. I ultimately did not like my choice. The service was very quick and friendly but I'm basing my review solely off my order. The cauliflower inside the platter tasted bitter and off to me, I haven't had this platter ever but I could not stand the cauliflower. The platter itself tasted off and I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. One of the side sauces (?), for some reason had a hotdog like after taste. Being vegetarian, this might have been the reason this platter did not sit well with me. After eating it for a while I felt sick to my stomach and I wanted to throw up, I don't think this is because the food was bad quality, I just couldn't stand the taste of a lot of the platter. Would not recommend this platter but would try something different because of the good reviews and the great service. read more

This was surprisingly good! We had the gyro and stuffed grape leaves and I must say it was probably one of the best gyros I've had in a long time! In other words, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is fresh and delicious and extremely reasonably priced considering the portions are huge. This is my favorite stop for Shawarmah in the Pacific Northwest. They have great falafel that they make in house, a fantastic spiced and fried cauliflower, and the Arabic Shawarmah is nothing short of divine. Service is friendly and reasonably fast for fresh made. Spotlessly clean my first impression. Nice cook/service person. Varied menu, includes Greek, Middle Eastern Schwarma, Turkish coffee and vegan items. Prices ranged from $6.50 gyros-$11.00 platter. My lamb Schwarma was well seasoned chopped lamb, onions, tomatoes on a soft pita with a creamy feta garlic sauce. Greek fries are covered in the same delicious sauce and finished with fresh parsley. Great combination of Greek and Arabic quick eats. Everything we tried was awesome: falafel sandwich, shawarma sandwich and greek fries (which has a bit of sumac in the seasoning!). All the ingredients are fresh and everything is made to order. Really friendly staff who gave us a few freshly fried falafel since we waited a few minutes for the food to be prepared, which was cool. I've seen some negative reviews recently that mention difference in recipe/personality since a previous owner and they inspired me to write a review stating how much we love this place and regularly frequent it! We have tried just about everything and never ever had a bad meal here. The service is truly quick, and the man who works here is very kind. We have been here when it's busy and yes, we have to wait a bit longer because it is a small business without multiple employees. The gyro was just okay in my opinion, a little on the salty side actually. But the fries. The glorious, not overly garlicy, beautifully dressed fries. Decided to try this place based on reviews and was disappointed. The person at the counter was not interested in taking the order or answering questions. Ordered 3 items and he made only 2. Had to ask him to make the 3rd item as he was billing. Explicitly asked if the Falafel came with hummus and he said yes. I ask him again after he packed and he said it only comes with Tahini. Ask him if he can switch it out to hummus and he says they're both the same with slightly different flavors. Sigh... Food was good but awful service. Won't be going back. read more

The gyro meat and the vegetables in the sandwich were just okay - where it fails to impress is the freshness of the food. The meat was probably a few days old, and the veggies felt like they were not fresh cut - ones that come out of a plastic bag from grocery stores (and bulk from Costco). It is hard to easily notice this stale quality - but some one who has gyro on a regular basis will spot it for sure.
