Instead of removing the nail and risking deflation on the road, I stopped at a S & S Tire Center near Nicholasville, KY and asked if they could pull the nail, then repair the puncture. A technician returned from the service area and shared the nail didn't completely pierce the tire and that I was good to go. When I asked what I owed, he smiled and said "nothing." It's refreshing to see a business that practices honest customer service that earns your patronage. Thank you!

On a drive from Florida to Michigan, our 2022 Telluride intermittently was overheating. We managed to drop it off to Complete Automotive Repair, and then got a rental for our Michigan destination and return to Lexington. The Complete Automotive team pressure-tested for leaks, checked all hoses and clamps, and diagnosed that the water pump had failed. The repair was done excellently and we were relieved that the cost was reasonable. My husband and I highly recommend this company. Their professionalism and kindness were exceptional.

So, here's my experience with these folks: These guys are THE best thing since sliced bread! I took my Jeep Wrangler to another shop in town to have a sensor that was giving me a brake warning light replaced. Next thing, they told me they'd have to replace the wheel assembly. Next thing, they told me they had broken off a bolt in the axle & I needed a new axle. Next thing, they told me it was not drivable. Then the price doubled because they had priced the axle wrong. Next thing, I got cranky & pissed them off. Suddenly, it was drivable and I should come pick it up. Oh, and by the way, it would be $100 for their trouble. I pissed them off some more & they told me to come get it & never darken their door again. I said no problem there! Just by dumb luck & some fairy godmother looking out for me, I picked these guys off of Yelp. Called, told them my story. They said you bet, bring 'er in! They looked it over, sent me photos of what they found, along with calls and descriptions and answers to my questions. Turns out, no broken bolt. No need for an axle. They communicated with me about every step. Sent pictures. Were pleasant, straightforward and gave alternatives when appropriate. They gave me rides to/from home and I didn't even have to ask! They offered! Amazing!!! They pulled the fat out of the fire for me and I am soooo incredibly, over the top, off the charts THRILLED to have blindly stumbled into a nest of bright, honest, honorable people who actually seem to give a damn about their customers & the reputation of their business! Can't thank them enough! As long as they are open, they have my business & my praise for everything they have done!

He kept putting me off, saying he was 2 weeks behind. Finally he agreed to let me bring it on May 1, 2023. I called that morning and he wasn't in until 9 am. He called me back & said he was running behind could I wait till Wednesday & bring it. I did. Never heard a work so 5/19/23 I called to get status. His 'story' was he couldn't get parts, they were on backorder. Only parts needed were Power steering pump lines that were rotted and leaking and a transmission seal. I told him there are Internet websites where you can order parts. He says "yeah I know but they're on back order" (??). He was lying to me. I can tell when somebody is not being honest with me. So I had to go June 5th to get registration from glove box so I could send in the tax & license renewal. He still hadn't touched it. The glove box was messed up, not opening/closing right and covered in greasy hand/finger prints. I told him we really needed the car as both of us were sick and had so many appointments. He said the parts may be there on Wednesday. Surprisingly, he called me on Tues and said we could pick up the car. I went over the several things he had said was wrong and he said he had fixed all them. I picked the car up & he only charged $120. I asked him about the Glove Box not working right,, to which he replied " I don't know anything about the glove box, I was under the hood. The receipt he printed out said "repair transmission seal"...that's all. Got home and daughter noticed some serious scratches on the hood that was not there when we took it in. The entire time I worked with him on this car -over a month- he was rude, had an attitude and treated me like trash. It's like my money wasn't as good as somebody elses. I will never use him again and will tell everybody I know about his shoddy work and pissy attitude. He needs to hire somebody with a personality to manage his business and he needs to keep his head under somebody else's hood.

When you get To Athens you can't miss the place. ( the town is 2 blocks long) There are cars parked every which way to fit into their lot and there is usually someone outside smoking a cigarette. If your looking to have a nice sit down in a waiting area, Perhaps a cup of coffee , the daily talk show on the TV or perhaps CNN this place isn't for you. There are usually quite a Few gentlemen hanging around the "waiting area" and they will usually offer you a chair , and you reading choice is a phone book, From 1999. If you are lucky the radio may even be on! All this, in my opinion, adds to the place ;) We usually just drop or cars off for repairs and the few times I have waited I had several children with me so we hung Out in a church parking lot across the street which was probably better than sitting even in the nicest waiting room. Talk to Charlie, who runs the place and is a nice, honest mechanic.
