Started off good but when the tech got there I got a call saying it was going to be $100 more and I had to use their materials because they couldn't use what was sent in the box. I had the exact perforated angle metal in my garage but they said I had to buy theirs. I told them it was bait and switch to pull that on their customers. I told them it is what it is and they installed the unit. When they were done they asked me to cover the charge and I told them to bill Lowe's as they were the ones who hired them on my behalf. I paid for the installation through Lowe's and was not told about any additional materials. Quick Response refused and said they would take the opener that they just installed down. I said they need to contact Lowe's if they want any more money. The ended up taking it down and left it in the garage. The passive aggressiveness in handling this situation is extremely off putting to a customer in the middle of what should have been a dispute between them and Lowe's. Angi needs to take them off the list! Update: Please post the recorded conversations. I wasn't passive, I was directly aggressive with you when you tried to rip me off. I never said I wouldn't pay. When you wanted to settle up, I told you to bill Lowe's and I would handle it with them. Not my problem if you have contractual disputes with the vendor that hires you. Again, I didn't hire you...Lowes did. Turns out I have the same exact perforated angle you use sitting in my garage and when I offered to bring it to you, you said you had to use yours. It takes less than 4ft of material yet you want to charge me for two full sticks at $50 each for a small residential garage door? You told me even if you have to switch out units you still install your super strength perforated angle metal even-though the manufacturer supplies the tested and approved hardware and then extort your customers. That is bait and switch. I don't care about the 5 star reviews you throw in my face. I'm beyond upset, and true integrity of a company is realized on how they handle the customers who feel wronged. Our opener died, and I was able to get an appointment quickly. Greg showed up right on time, and replaced the opener, rail, drive, sensors, keypad, and remotes. This was way more than I expected for the price quoted. Greg was not only skilled and efficient, he was also friendly and professional. When you only meet one person from a company, that person better be a good representative because they are "the face of your company", whether you like it or not. Greg is a great face for the company. His personable style put me at ease almost immediately. Although there was plenty of opportunity for upsell on this job, I made it clear that I only needed the door opener to function right now. He didn't push an upsell at all after that. Most companies would have made something up about a component needing replacement in order for the opener to work at peak performance. Not too bad of an experience. Out of the three places I contacted on a Sunday afternoon after our door closed and could not be opened again due to the spring snapping, Quick Response was the only one who called back that evening. They had availability the next day. The initial quote on the phone was $149 per spring (both have to be replaced) plus $85 labor. That was accurate. Danny came out on time the next day and fixed everything in short order. The only iffy part of the experience for me was the cost. $149 for each 262x38 spring seems excessive, you can get these on Amazon for example for $85 for two. Possibly lower quality, but $300? Then it was an extra $100 for 120 nylon rollers and $145 for a 3-pc bearing kit for a grand total of $630. That was a LOT of money. Had to get it done but it blew a sizeable chunk of cash. So, props for the response time and the fix, everything works great, but I'll really have to think twice and shop around should this ever happen again. read more

Fabulous company. We had been cancelled on twice by someone we had first hired to replace our garage door opener, so after a quick google search this company came up. Glad we chose to give this company a call. I've never been quoted a price over the phone and have it stay the same after all is said and done, but that's what the rep did when we called in to make an appointment. They even showed up a couple hours earlier than was promised (with notice of course!). The last company that had serviced the door had done a poor job replacing the coil (it was loose along with a couple other issues) and Bryan fixed it all! Within an hour our door is working better than ever and come to find out they do cabinets too, which means we'll definitely be giving them a call when we decide to finally fix up the ones we have in the garage. The most recent time, I didn't call until 4 but Daniel (a wonderful tech!) was out at 7:30 the next morning to fix my problem.
