Over the holiday weekend, the spring on my garage door broke and my door wasn't moving. I looked online and found this company, which had several 5-star reviews. When I called, they told me they could be out in as little as three hours. When Bryan came out later that day, he quickly accessed the situation and told me right away how much it would cost to replace the spring, and he also explained why buying two springs would be a good value. (Which I opted to do, without any pressure.) And while he didn't try to upsell me, he did say my garage door system would need to be replaced eventually (not then) and quoted me a good price for that as well. My old garage door opener failed beyond repair (beyond my repair capabilities, anyway) so I bought a new one from Lowe's and had them install it. Lowe's had Quick Response install it and the people were so nice I decided to have them do my annual maintenance. I have not had to test their emergency response yet, but they are always there when I need them and they always do a great job. First I received a quote from Quick Response Garage Doors because our door wouldn't work. They installed it 2 1/2 years ago. They charged me $69 for a service call and said I needed to replace everything (including the garage door). I called JDT and spoke to Jason who told me if EVERYTHING needed to be replaced it would still be $100 less than Quick Response. When I told him to go ahead and let's do it, he explained that a tech still had to come out and do an inspection. Someone was available the same day! Kory, who was friendly, professional and prompt arrived and after two minutes fixed the opener. All he did was adjust one of the sensors! He charged me $29 and said nothing needs to be replaced. I highly recommend JDT! Since you asked, my complaint is that you charged me $69 and said that everything needed to be replaced for over $1500.00 Someone else looked at it for 2 minutes, adjusted a sensor and nothing needed to be replaced and they charged just $29! I called you twice and each time said thank you before hanging up. Michelle said that she was unable to view my original ticket from 2 1/2 years ago-how convenient! I called this company on a Sunday , set up an estimate for Monday ( Veterans Day ) and after speaking with Michelle on the phone it was then I decided to not even call another company. Just the friendliest person over the phone. I felt like customer service wasn't going to be an issue. That's so rare now a days !! Long story short Daniel showed up Monday (on time ) assesses the issue , gives me the estimate and says he can repair it. He even had the parts with him. He showed me the parts needed and the new parts , and the difference in the new and old. Basically showing me why the certain parts needed replacing. He was very professional and polite. The one star is for the service team, who I'm sure works very hard. However, the owner (Danny?) deserves zero stars. He has no problem yelling at and belittling his staff within ear shot of a customer. That alone is inappropriate. But he shouted "we are not n-words, if you wanna do n-word work, go somewhere else" at his employee (again this was within earshot of a customer). What it was really cool was the follow up, I got a confirmation for my appointment on my email and on my phone also a phone call and text with estimate arrival time, Bryan the technician called to see if he can stop by earlier that was totally fine with me, he was friendly, respectful and easygoing. Quick response Garage Door is the most reliable company in servicing garage doors and the garage door opening equipment in greater PHX. Last year one of our old openers and all the mechanism decided to no longer be functional. QRGDS came out that very same day, dismantled our non functioning unit and installed a new unit. The new unit came equipped with an App for remote opening & closing. Just last week the main spring on our other garage door broke and they came out that same day and replaced the broken spring. Our technician arrived early and went through his work very efficiently. He was very experienced, friendly and told us what was needed o be done. He completed his work in a very reasonable amount of time. Bryan from Quick Response Garage Doors came within an hour of us calling and needing service for a garage door that would not close and had been smashed up by the truck exiting the garage. He was friendly, polite, and quick quick quick! Within minutes he had the wheels back on track and he pulled out the dent in the track! Since it did not take him long, he serviced the wheels and the joints in the door with lubricant and they worked better than they had been when we called-much improved.
