Initially, experienced inconvenience, due to the driver of the Quick Rooter service van, parking incorrectly in the Home Depot lot, up on Cherry / Signal Hill (park too close, for me to open driver door enough for me to get in without twisting my back and his bumper over the line). After over 20 minutes and multiple announcements by Home Depot management, for the driver of the van to please come and move his vehicle, I called the dispatch number, on the van. After being told, that he would call the driver of the truck, and he requested I send him a pic... I THANKED him, and said that I would, because I had taken a pic to show HD management and I was about ready to do a YELP review... BUT before I could complete my sentence, to say... had I not been able to reach someone, to assist me... the dispatcher became rude and shouted obscenities at me (said F*** you, referred to me as a D***k) and told me he was gonna call the guy and tell him just to stay in the store?! Taken aback, I calmly said, excuse me? And when I explained to him he was speaking with a woman, it didn't seem to make a difference, and he didn't care, and he repeated the obscenities. In the most recent rains, they came out the afternoon I called to clear my clogged yard drains, and we scheduled a time after the rains ended to completely re-route a drain to the street that had been destroyed by tree routes. Quick Rooter Anthony I have used this company several times over the past few years, at work & home. They have always been great until this past year . They quote you one fee and charge another. They charge $150 just to come out and over charge for parts & labor. The last time I used them at my office I said to myself never again, the are robbing me blind. Well today I needed a plumber for my home, I called Anthony because I do like him as a person and he told me someone would be at my home at 8am. Sal showed up at 8:40. The guy Sal tells me he needs to remove the toilet to do a good clean out tells me it will be $200, I say ok because it needs to me done. He does it, he calls me in the bathroom he tells me that there was no real big clogs, my pipes are old they're galvanized and things get stuck on the things that grow in pipes. I call Anthony to pay he tells me it's $289 I said what happened to the quote of $200 he said oh well he had to put a wax ring In there and you weren't there for him to talk to you so he just went ahead and did it. At this point I'm outraged my daughters home, she's 25, they have my phone number they could've called me $200 to $ 289 for a wax ring also my toilet still is not flushing I asked Anthony what's going on with it, I sent him a video. He said oh you need your valve changed if you want we can come back and do it. Keep in mind nothing was wrong with my valve before. So since you're putting on a wax ring and doing things without my authorization why didn't you fix the toilet and just put the valve on, yes I would've been mad but at least it would've been fixed so they came out wanna charge me $289 and my toilet is still not working. Oh and when I called Anthony he told me that Sal told him the line was full of wipes, Sal called me in the restroom showed me the drain pipe never once mentioned wipes the only reason Anthony mentioned those is because I told him when I called to make the appointment I think my son flushed wipes, so now he's lying and telling me that the line was full of wipes when Sal called me into the restroom showed me there was not one thing in there. I proceeded to tell Anthony that I am going to send him a check for $200 he tells me if you do that do not ever use my services again which I don't plan to and then he tells me I know the office that you work at, you guys make so much money. Why does it matter how much my office makes, is that how you charge us because you think that we make so much money. This is ridiculous I will never use this company again and I do not recommend them to anyone. And then he just called me to tell me he would stop by for payment. I told him not to do that as I have a another plumber coming out. Then he proceeded to cuss at me and tell me he is not going to wait weeks for $200 !! This guy is money hungry and too much for me. It hasn't even been 24 hrs & he's hounding me for $200, I told him I would mail the check. So sit tight Anthony it's coming, I do not lie. Just changed my review to a 1, I was being nice but Anthony just sent me this: (childish) Thanks for the review. I'm glad you were able to see all my satisfied customers over the past 20 years.
