Probably the worst woodfire pizza in Twin Cities. 1. 90 seconds to cook pizza.... 10 mn you wait and watch them make it. 2. No ambiance. No music. Nothing. 3. Overcooked pizza. To the point of nasty. Pizza tasted aweful. Not burned... but way overcooked. First time I did not take home or eat our food. 4. Rude workers who care more about themselves then customers. 5. Mixing Buffalo Mozz with cheap shred.... WTF 6. Operational management needs to be checked here. A lot of wait... unnecessary wait. 7. Was blamed that I asked for the special yesterday that was posted on the sign. My fault they did not change the sign.... whatever. 8. Lots of touching of ingredients with bare hands and handling of food when unnecessary. This must be a healthcode violation. If, like me, you prefer your pizza NOT overloaded with goopy toppings, Quickfire's offerings are a welcome change from most of the other pizzas available in Stillwater. The line-up-and-order routine at Quickfire would be fine if it wasn't crowded, but I went in to buy five pizzas to carry out, and I would have hated to be in line behind me (and the party behind me that ordered four.) It's nice that they have the wood-fired oven. Actual cooking time was pretty quick. A good woodfire pizza should have a bit of charring on the edges, but my pizzas were all on the burned side. Quickfire's pizzas are not on par with real Neapolitan pizzas like those at Brick's, Pizza Nea, or Punch. I wouldn't make a special trip to Quickfire, but if I am in the mood for pizza in Stillwater I will go again. read more

Great concept, I love pizza and when it's cooked in a wood fire oven it's usually hard to beat. I ordered the goat cheese, arugula and prosciutto pizza (how good does that sound!) and was really excited to try it. Visually the pizza was awesome, and the fact that they shaved the prosciutto fresh for each pizza was a nice tough. However the pizza was really bland, which is shocking with those ingredients. The arugula was put on the pizza before it was cooked, which made it a little soggy and sapped the flavor from it, the sauce was bland and the crust was a bit tough and under seasoned, a little salt would go a long way. One person in our group had the buffalo chicken pizza and loved it, so my advice would be to order a more traditional pizza and it might be pretty solid, however the sauce and crust being bland is tough to compensate for. read more

Stopped here last Saturday. Line was short, pizzas were made and cooked fast. Tried the Mac & Cheese pizza with smoked bacon and a create you own sausage and cheese. Was not sure on the Mac & Cheese the kids wanted until I tried it. It was excellent, the sausage and cheese was good too. Both pizzas perfectly cooked. I got a pizza to go. It was a take on the margherita, with basil and feta. The sauce is strange. Too sweet? The basil came out looking charred because they cooked it with the entire pizza. The crust was good.... the middle was soggy. I'll stick with Punch whose pizzas are also larger. Pretty disappointing. read more

Excellent Pizza & Service! We visited this place for the first time late on a Monday night when they were just about to close. They treated us amazing and did not rush us out of there or anything, which we really appreciated. I had the cuban pizza and it was AMAZING. My husband had the ordinary average guy pizza which was very good as well. Can't wait to go back and try the Cajun although it will be hard not to order the cuban again, as it was delicious. Our first try of Quickfire Pizza last night when the young grandkids stopped in and picked Quickfire for takeout. The 4 and 5 year olds lobbied hard for "Mac and Cheese" pizza. I made he call and the pies were ready as promised. I found out later that Quickfire only needs a few minutes to have a pizza ready, they live up to their name. Don't assume the food will be quick because the name is Quickfire Pizza. We waited over 45 minutes for 3 pizzas. When they finally arrived, the crust was bland, soggy and there was almost no cheese. The one good thing we got out of the experience is an ongoing joke - we always laugh about how ironic it was. We will never be going back. This was our first visit to the QuickFire Pizza. We were a little apprehensive as the place was empty when we stopped. My wife and the boys (11 yoa) tried the Mediterranean pizza and a build your own combination with Pineapple, Canadian Bacon and a few other toppings. We also tried the Antipasto... What was left over, the boys finished off the next day, Service was excellent. Menu has something for everyone if you like pizza. We like to experiment! Excellent value, great food! The pizza looked good and they had gluten free options but they service was so slow to even get acknowledged that we left. Understaffed.

Food and menu are really good. The pizzas are smaller than most other wood fires restaurant pizzas so we under ordered for our group a bit. The flavors and options were good though. They could use a bit more sauce so if you like sauce I would recommend asking for extra when you order. read more

My wife, newborn and I ate at QuickFire on the second weekend they were open. Usually this is when businesses are still finding their flavor. This was NOT the case at all. We wanted something quick, and the restaurant looked very appealing from outside. Very clean and moderm design, and the logo and specials caught our eyes. Watching them cook in the huge quickfire oven was pretty fascinating (kids would love it). We walked in and even with 3 people in line before us, were helped really fast. I ordered their gourmet Macaroni and Cheese, and my wife ordered the Hawaiian Pig Roast. Baby ate formula :) We didn't know what to get, but the staff let us sample different toppings and made suggestions to us. They took their time figuring out what we would enjoy. Anyways, got our pizzas in minutes and they were cooked to perfection. We both REALLY enjoyed our food and think this is both our new "pizza place" and our go-to whenever we are in Stillwater. As for the 1 star review I read, I had a completely different experience...both the first time we visited and the last two times we were there. Maybe you need to revisit...our food was great, and we had nothing but smiles and great customer service from the staff. However, I will agree with you on the ambiance...could definitely use some music in the background :) read more

We love this place. They have great pizzas and are pretty good about substitutions since I mostly don't eat meat. My only negative is the name is a giant misnomer. You will never get your pizza quick here. They cook quick but everything else is slow. If you are looking to have a great slow night out eating this is perfect. read more

Where do I start, I ate here for lunch one day in february with a few associates from work, It was literally in the upper 50's temperature wise in the dining area, all of the diners were wearing winter jackets while eating. This place is awesome! I went here as one of my stops on the "foodies on foot" tour in Stillwater. The owners came out and talked to us about the story of how they created the restaurant. Their craft beers were good and service was fast. I had the macaroni and cheese pizza and it was fantastic! I like how we were able to pick out our own ingredients and watch they make it right in front of it. They have ingredients being imported from Italy every week. It's impressive. We were here on a random Friday and it was pretty quiet! You go up and order at the counter and they make individual pizzas to order. I enjoyed my pizza but would say it was not as good or close to as quick as Punch Pizza or other places with similar concept in the Twin Cities. The toppings were pretty good and the crust was good but in the center of the pizza, the crust was so thin that it was difficult to pick up the slice and it couldn't support the toppings at all, making it a little difficult to eat! Might have ranked it one star higher but the service was very weird while we were there - one of the staff who took our orders was difficult to communicate with and didn't look anyone in the eye and was just strange and gave it a weird vibe. One of our group's pizzas also tore in the middle and therefore had to be remade, meaning she was waiting to eat for quite awhile after we were all served. They do have an okay gluten free option that is cooked in a silver tray so no contamination, which is good! read more

My family and I came across this little pizza joint in the heart of downtown Stillwater and were quite pleased! The service was phenomenal! With their personal attention to creating each pizza pie, customers truly feel welcomed and their food treated like an individual piece of art. An excellent late night bite! Personal pizzas starting at $7 with .50c add on ingredients or any pre-customized pizza from 10-14 dollars all baked in a wood burning pizza kiln and ready in about six minutes. I went in with my kids when we were craving a pizza. My kids got the mac n cheese pizza, it was a little on the spicy side. The Margherita was pretty good. Fantastic Neapolitan spin off. We originally came here with a groupon and were back within a week for more. While I wouldn't go as far as saying it tastes as authentic as punch. It's very good and the pizzas are slightly more substantial. I like that it's more unique and a trip to Stillwater is always worth it for their Main Street. We've also had their s'more and Nutella desserts. Skip the Nutella one. It tastes like a Burger King cinna mini. The s'more treat is delicious though. This is now my favorite pizza in the the twin cities! It is a simple place. You tell them what to make, and pay, then they deliver the personal-sized pizza to you in just a few minutes. It's fast and delicious! As others have mentioned, you don't go here for the ambiance. But it is not a cheap plastic fast food restaurant either. There are a couple nice window tables that allow you to watch the downtown Stillwater traffic. I go with the cajun sauce, which is a mixture of their regular red sauce plus a spicey nice buffalo sauce. It's an awesome combination! I also like pepperoni, kalamata olives and prosciutto, which they slice up fresh, but there are lots of other ingredients from which to choose. The crust is just-barely-done, just the way I like it. Very good personal pizza. Pizza is made fresh with fresh ingredients in front of you; like a Subway sandwich. They use woodfired oven adding nice flavor. Modern atmosphere inside. Very clean. Flatscreen monitors used for the menu options. It's not a gourmet place. However it's nice place to go for a light lunch or dinner. Also note that the dough is very fresh and hand tossed. The crust is not baked in a shroud of fat like Pizza Hut. I wish we had quick fire in our town. read more
