There are lots of bubble tea places in Orlando, and I am not a fan of this. We tried the Hong Kong waffle/eggettes, but the texture is all wrong. Each eggette is filled all the way inside, like an average cake, which it should not be. Real eggettes are only half filled with some air space inside. When I bite into it, it's just too dense. We also had a shaved snow. While the price was good, I noticed the variety of toppings was very limited. Several trays are missing, I could see the ice in the bin underneath. Maybe they were switching out the toppings? The shaved snow here has a thick, slightly chewy texture, which is the Taiwanese style, not like the fluffier, powdery Korean style; which I actually do like. Lastly, we also came here for the macaroons. I saw all the pictures of cute Hello Kitty and bear macaroons and I just have to come see for myself. Those special decorated macaroons are only for custom orders, for parties, etc., but they do have a nice variety of macaroons available. Plenty of exotic flavors: jasmine tea, rose, coca cola, watermelon, key lime, Thai tea... you'd want to order one of everything!! The verdict for the macaroon? Hmm, I can't say. I stopped by after lunch, and as you can imagine, all the shaved snow and eggette filled me up, so I took the macaroons to go. Big mistake. That evening I found them all soggy and soft, the shell sticking to the paperbag it came in. The flavor was still nice. I wish I had tried them fresh. Thank you for being open on Thanksgiving, when the last thing I wanted to do was prepare anything for myself! I had the XL boba...how could I not! Great tasting boba. Consistently chewy throughout the whole drink. I had the peach slush. Fantastic to the last sip. I almost wanted to buy one more for later. But that's going a bit overboard. Unfortunately they had a limited menu that day, so I couldn't try the chicken teriyaki box or shrimp tempura which was a bummer but then again they were open on Turkey day! This place is a hit or miss tbh. There's times where I could take a sip and taste the oolong tea right away and the sweetness would balance it perfectly mixed in with the soft boba.However, today was different.I love their location by Seaworld (aka universal) muchhh better than here. My oolong milk tea was very water down. I could also not taste any sweetness to it.It was just plain ice with water and a hint of oolong,which is very upsetting especially since they have a no refund/exchange policy. One of my go-to places for boba tea! Large menu with a variety of flavors. Drinks can be made as milk tea, fruit tea, fruit slush, milk slush, or smoothies. Multiple options for drink toppings (tapioca boba, popping boba, fruit jellies, puddings, strawberry bits). My usual is Tiger or Original milk tea with tapioca boba. The boba is chewy and slightly sweet, and you get a good amount in each drink. I wouldn't recommend their macarons. We were told they were best eaten after waiting for a few minutes, but then they became soggy (not the usual light crunch you'd expect). The flavor taro wasn't that great either, unfortunately. I haven't had boba in a while and I was craving for one and quickly was the first one to appear on the way to my house so I decided to try their boba chocolate and I didn't really like the chocolate flavor they have. I had my first boba tea here 3 months ago and since then I've been to this place over 20 times. Everything here is fabulous and cheap, from their milk tea to macaroons or their Banh Mi. Taro and Oolong are my favorite milk tea. The Banh Mis are good too. I mean they are not really filling but still tasty. I really like baguette they use. They don't use that much meat in their Banh MIs (take a look at the photo I posted) but they have good toppings like onion carrot and cilantro. Btw, don't forget to try their combo offer. Always liked Quickly from when I tried them out in Califonia. I got a little excited to learn that they opened a location in Orlando. The store is very spacious. Can probably seat about 15-20 people, though i assume that a majority of the patrons will have to go orders. Staff is friendly as well. I ordered an avocado smoothie with honey boba. I asked them if they could drizzle chocolate into my cup before pouring in the smoothie and they did it without any hesitation. It was so yummy! We waited in line for about 15 minutes just to order, and sadly, everything I wanted to try was out of stock! No macaron ice cream sandwiches, only 3 flavors of macarons, and no mochi ice cream waffles, WAH! Apparently it was busy because they were understaffed that day. I ordered a black milk tea with boba, and my boyfriend got a taro slush. The boba pearls were soft and sweet to eat, which is my personal deciding factor of whether a boba place is good. The milk tea wasn't overly sweet, so I enjoyed it to the last drop! I ordered a Trix macaron, which was so yummy! It tasted just like the cereal, it took me back to my childhood. They have a long list of different flavors, so consider picking up some affordable and unique macarons to give as a gift (or to eat for yourself). I recently went to try their egg puff waffle. Since the additional scoop of ice cream was only $1 extra, I figured 'yolo' and ordered it. I also got a winter melon milk tea with mini boba. Here, add ins for drinks have a surcharge like most boba spots. When my total was calculated I was a little confused, but I figured it must have been miscalculation on my part. I even stated, "that's just for the two items?" When I got the receipt back, I realized I was charged an additional $1.50 for the ice cream in addition to the original surcharge. I would definitely would have appreciated being told of the extra cost since I had already questioned it prior to paying. The milk tea was as expected, a little too sweet, but I attribute that to ordering a surplus of sweets. I'm not a fan of the mini boba, it didn't really seen chewy, but more like regular boba that had been broken and chunky. I personally would not get again. The waffle was too sweet as well, but I attribute that to the excess of sauces I chose. I was expecting bigger puffs in a kind of Chinatown street food style, but it came with a good amount on a very presentable plate. The place is decorated in a very cute way, cartoon creatures don the walls and pastel colors everywhere. It would be a great place for kids. Wow! The best Quickly I've been to. My experience with Quickly has only been the chain locations in California which consisted of small stores, few workers, and very limited menu options. This Quickly is not like those. This location has a great amount of seating and a big selection of food. From waffles to banh mi to poke bowls, there is definitely more than enough selections to fill an empty stomach. However, I will always stick to my perfect and plain combo of black milk tea and popcorn chicken. I've been coming to this Quickly location since its opening and it use to be my favorite place to get boba but so much has changed over the years. What I loved is how spacious and inviting this location is. It's very vibrant, fun, and a great place to bring family and friends. However, that's where it stops. My last four visits have had major inconsistencies. I use to love getting poke bowls here but the quality of this meal has gone down significantly. Served old avocados, fish was not fresh and had weird smell. The drinks has kept me coming back but the last few visits my drinks were flavorless and bland. The downside is that all sales are final and you cannot get a refund or exchange for your drinks. The customer service has also worsened. Tables are hardly cleaned and trash is constantly piled up as well. Definitely has been disappointing because this boba location is closest to my house, but I don't think I'll be visiting this location any longer. read more

I wish we had this in CT. I yelped a bunch of Asian dessert places while vacationing in Orlando and I glad we went to this place. So many choices to choose from that I wish I was hungry so I could try more stuff. We ended up trying their taro bubble tea and vanilla snow with mangos and strawberries. Awful staff. they tried to pass off the wrong order and not even tell me thinking I won't notice the difference. it's just terrible. If they're out of something they should just ask me if I want to replace it. What if I had allergy towards something ? The worst is when I approach them, they said that I never mentioned. We're Carolers for Asian Fundraising Charity and expect a nice, warm welcome from the workers just like all the other Asian ones we've been to, but they're very unwelcoming and sadly cold. Quickly is a really good place to go and get some boba. The most impressive thing about this place is the amount of variety you can have with your drink. Milk tea, slush, smoothie, and like... 50 different flavors and varieties of boba/ pearls. Always remember that the combination of things that you choose can just be a terrible idea. Sometimes you really have to stare at that menu and think about what you want to drink. The food is nice too. I'm not always impressed with the food there though. There are a lot of options from bowls, ramen, Vietnamese style sandwiches and a bunch of other things like dumplings and spring rolls. The first time, the Thai milk tea was warm and did not have enough ice. I could taste pure syrup as if it was not blended well. I bought 4 bobas for everyone and each tasted poorly. Worst than the churro ice cream sandwich experience in LA. They lacked so much in composition, it was upsetting. The ice cream melted before I could even make a sandwich... It was like picking up a dropped ice cream cone to eat. :( I also saw their poke station and I steered away as most businesses try to set up poke shops without having any actual knowledge of what poke is and try to attract innocent customers. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else as it did not look like much effort was placed into the idea and worst, it did not look clean and that is REALLY important when it comes to serving food like that. I recently moved to Orlando and Quickly has been one of the most consistent bubble tea places. The boba is always perfectly cooked, and when I ask for half sweet, my tea isn't less sweet or little sweet-- it's half sweet. Their food is surprisingly good too. The fried snacks are pretty standard of the franchise, but the other food items are unique to this location. The banh mi is aight, but their spicy tuna bowls are surprisingly fresh and SPICY. Yum. Two sorta gripes: 1. They recently ran out of winter melon flavoring and were out for more than a week. Tbh, I'm probably the one who drains their supply, so it's a new imbalance of supply and demand. But still. 2. They have a loyalty program, but they don't advertise it. Bubble tea aside (pretty decent, no complaints), what really stands out here is the mochi waffle. They make it once it's ordered, so it can take a few minutes. The waffle is slightly crisp on the outside and perfectly chewy on the inside. I love waffles because of their texture (a large surface area = more texture!), and it's really enhanced with the mochi added in. Sometimes, mochi/bread hybrids have too little mochi flour just feel like thicker breads, but the ratio of mochi flour to regular flour is just right, and the waffle is nice and thin so it feels very light and not too dense. Overall, Quickly Boba proves to be a great place to spend time with friends drinking tea. The boba tea selections are quite substantial and everything I've had so far I've very much enjoyed. Furthermore, Quickly offers several tasty food options. Unlike most other boba tea places, however, I did not notice any board games. The cafe does have a photo booth, although it was broken last time I checked. All of the times I've been to Quickly have been received with great service and for the most part good quality items. Here's what I got for my most recent visit: Nutella Milk Tea with boba: 5/5 I would definitely get this again. Fellow nutella/chocolate lovers would really like this drink. The flavor was awesome and not too sweet or overpowering. The drink also wasn't watered down at all with excessive ice. Spicy Popcorn Chicken: 5/5 I have no idea how the chefs prepare this popcorn chicken, but it tastes absolutely delicious. All of the chicken pieces are warm and tender. However, even better is the unique spicy flavor. I definitely recommend this especially for the cheap price for which you'll receive a bag of popcorn chicken. So so... Not my favorite boba spot. I got a taro slush with boba, but they forgot the boba. We were tying to make a quick pit stop, so I didn't notice until we were already driving away. Otherwise, I'm sure they would've added it for me if I'd asked. I watched them make it for me: 3 scoops taro powder + 3 scoops sugar... for a small?! Yea, you can bet it was too sweet!!! I'm the sweet tooth queen, but I could only drink half of it. However, I'm sure you can ask for a lower sweetness level if you like. My boyfriend got the black milk tea slush with boba. I was incredibly jealous. It was so good. It didn't taste quite like black tea (maybe more milk than tea?), but it was good nonetheless. The boba were soft and chewy, as they should be. I'm getting what he got next time. I was somewhat shocked when I found out Quickly was a chain, because they seemed low-budget with their broken lighting behind the counter, bulletin boards for menus, and Tsum Tsum plushies *IN* the topping display case... that can't be sanitary, right???? It makes me question if I can trust the cleanliness of their poké... Came here because of the high reviews on yelp and also because I needed a place to get some work done. It was pretty slow when I came in, but I was greeted by an employee. The place itself is very colorful. It was like walking into Candy Land, but it looked a bit old. The booths were torn and the store itself isn't what I would call clean. BLACK MILK TEA The milk tea was more tea than milk. I asked for less sweetness. I could taste the black tea, but it was more on the bland side than the tea side. The tea wasn't as pungent as I would've liked and still was sweet. The grass jelly that I added was rubbery and bland. All-in-all the combo wasn't that great and I didn't care for the drink too much. LAVENDER MILK TEA Second time around, I got the lavender milk tea without any grass jelly or tapioca. I didn't taste any hint of lavender. There wasn't any lavender aroma. It was just regular milk tea, but I preferred it over the black milk tea. I didn't ask for less sweetness, but the sugar level was fine. It wasn't overly sweet. MACARONS I got 2 macarons, the vanilla and caramel. In the display, the macarons all looked beautiful and so tasty, but when I received them the filling was cold. I was told to give it a minute and then enjoy it. The filling was too sweet and it tasted as if I was eating some hard snow. It was cold and the flavors weren't what I expected. It was more sweet than anything. I took one bite out of each and couldn't eat anymore of it. MOCHI WAFFLE It was my first time having a mochi waffle and I liked that it was crisp and thin. The powdered sugar added a nice sweetness to it. I liked it. I would order this again for a light snack. I'm debating whether I would come here again if I was in town. There's so many places I want to visit that I'm not sure if I really wanna come back and gamble whether it'll get better or not. Ordered tea and a macaron sandwich with matcha ice cream from here. The tea was your average tea with boba. The macaron sandwich itself was difficult to eat. There was no way you could pick it up and eat it like a sandwich. Instead, it was served in a tight bowl, so you had to eat the macaron and the ice cream separately, instead of at once. The macaron was dry but pretty. It comes in different colors, but I think they're all vanilla flavored. The matcha ice cream was the only thing that stood out. I would recommend just ordering the ice cream and skipping the macaron. It's not worth the picture. read more
