First time to this location. Not sure if the other locations have the same problem, but since it's a chain, I'm betting they do. I ordered the Japanese matcha milk tea. It doesn't taste remotely close to Japanese matcha. Even at Starbucks they do it better and this is an Asian chain! The girl at the cash register tried to convince me that I was wrong...nice try. It is in the heart of Chinatown. It is a place for a boba tea and snack. I especially enjoy their fired dumping. The dumping skin is crispy, the dumping is hot and tasty. But, I am guessing they might not have a full time bus person to maintain the cleanliness of the seating area, because I have found dirty table and chair once in a while. read more

I like this Quickly. They have a milk tea special (the basic flavor). BOGO free for $2.19. That's about $1.09 per milk tea! Best reason to come here. Cheap quality and cheap prices. I love this place! Service is excellent and the drinks are very tasty and cheap. My coworkers and I usually order from this place since it's close to our job and it's within walking distance. They have a good selection of drinks and snacks. The prices are very reasonable and their customer service is great. The only problem is the parking since there is no parking inside of the mini shopping center but you can find quick parking outside on the street. If you're visiting chinatown and need a refreshing drink, come to this place and you'll be glad you did. read more

The quality of their food is nothing special. The people they have working their all speak in their native language which feels discriminative because you do not know what they are saying. I must have shown up when the boss arrived because all the associates became alert and 2 people entered and walked through the back. Cal weren't the best boba places I've ever been to, but getting a milk tea often meant the nice kind of post-meal drink where you could taste a refreshing hint of tea, with a nice warm bottom layer of pearls. I always drop in here after dim sum. They are really quick and make you your drink within minutes. I just discovered today that they created a drink similar to the iced milk with grass jelly and pudding (from Half and Half)- and it tastes just as good! (If not better. The grass jelly has a wonderful aroma to it). :) I also like their lemon black tea- but it definitely isn`t natural tasting- theres just too artificial flavorings in it. This place is good to just sit and hang around with friends. They have a sitting area inside and outside. They also have free wifi, and a TV. Some drinks are good there and some aren't. I mostly only get the teas and the slushies are good, but not a big fan of their smoothies. read more

The food and drinks at this place are really good, but the workers take forever to make your drinks, let alone your food. My friend and I had to wait about 10 minutes for only 2 drinks. I would've understood as there was only one person making our drinks, but there were 3 people working. One was managing the ordering of a nonexistent line, and the other was in the kitchen waiting for the food to be done, when they could've been multitasking and helping with the drinks whilst the food was still getting made. i don't know why i see such bad reviews on this particular quickly because this place has the best boba in los angeles in my opinion. if anything, the only drawbacks are that if you're ordering their food, they take way too long cooking it and all of that, but in the end anything in their menu is all worth it. oh, and be warned that on weekday afternoons there is a ton of adolescent high schoolers and prepubescent middle schoolers, such as myself, from around the area flooding up the entire place. other than that, you need to try their milk tea boba and fries and their popcorn chicken. read more

TO THE MANAGER: the Asian tall kid with glasses should be fired immediately. My friends and I will not come back because of his poor service. He was working on Sunday 1/30 at 3:10pm. He did not clarify whether we want a hot or cold drink so he assumed a cold drink. When we said it should be hot he threw an attitude and said "everything on the menu is iced" which is false because some drinks say iced and others don't. And yet we got hot drinks when the other girl remade it. If his attitude didn't suck we probably would have taken the mistakened iced drink. We asked for the manager and he said you had left. The most unprofessional part was when he was talking shit in Mandarin about the situation IN FRONT OF ALL THE CUSTOMERS. We knew exactly what he was saying. The girl co-worker tried to calm him down. She also said sorry though it was not her fault. We also had to wait for him to finish his conversation with a friend before we could order in the beginning. This reflects badly on your business and training. We are customers and big fans of Quickly but not this one. He has no excuse for his behavior.
