Normally I love Quickway. This time I am quite disgusted and disappointed after finding hair in my sushi.

Nice new food joint in Olney. We normally get the one in Rockville so this is a blessing. The place is neat and the inside holds about 34 seats. The food was really hot and the staff is nice. What I do not like is that the food trays are like on a conveyor belt and they push your container to the end. Because there is a piece of glass missing, people are within a foot of someone else's food. Not cool. I know this place is new so hopefully they ordered the glass for the food to be protected. I will come back.

Simple and quick service. You get what you pay for, quick Japanese food. I can see this becoming a staple in my fast food runs.

Good cheap food, comes out quickly too. Current favorite is the salmon avocado roll or the beef bento box.

Great restaurant! I ordered my dinner via Ubereat pickup, and it was ready for pickup within 10 mins.

Hot damn, this place is amazing! Usually lots of people do the Japanese grill, which is very…read moresimilar to Korean BBQ grilling where it's communal. But since it was just me, I opted for seating at the bar. There are 2 bars at this location--one at the drink bar and one at the sushi bar. The drinks are VERY good, and the bartenders are very receptive to your orders and all. Ambiance was good--not too dark, just right. Very chic. I ordered a LOT. Several pieces of sushi, chicken karage (which I saw people post pics of, and that's what convinced me to check it out.), Japanese curry, and some other sashimi and little burgers. They were all fantastic! The chicken karage was the big hit--so delicious you can taste it thru the pictures. The curry wasn't spicy at all, but seeing as it's Japanese style, it's more on the savory and tasty side, not on the spicy side. Overall very delicious. The wagyu sashimi was VERY long (that's what she said), so eating one piece whole isn't recommended. Chew it, then swallow. The mini burgers were everything you love about Japanese takes on purpose burgers. Done perfectly, with that amazing bbq grill taste, too. The sushi was fresh and tasted amazing. My only gripe is that their ordering system is odd; you can only order so many pieces of food per order number. There are order limits, but it's setup such that the kitchen doesn't get overwhelmed. That being said, your orders usually come out pretty quickly. I highly recommend this place!

My second time here…read more I do really like this area of Columbia and realize that I want to hang out here more often. When you arrive at the restaurant, the hostess greets you and ask if you have a reservation. Both times I've been here, it wasn't too busy but it was during the week. Service is really good. They're always very helpful in explaining the menu. We went with the AYCE Master option. The Legend option with the Wagyu looks appealing but I can't justify spending $88 a person. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem spending the money, since most of it goes to alcohol when we're having dinner anyways, but it was a really nice experience. This would be a place I would bring friends from out of town who want to have an experience similar what you would find NYC or Vegas. We had a really good time, especially on $10 margaritas and all you can eat meat. The presentation is really wonderful and I love the thought behind the presentation when it comes out. The Wagyu Fried Rice and Curry is one of the bests I've ever had. And the scallops with butter on the grill were awesome. Definitely a favorite. I will add the the iPad that you order with will start a timer for 90 minutes, and you can only put in an order every ten minutes which was annoying, so I did feel a bit of pressure with ordering. The time limit is to control time spent which makes sense if it was busy. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the wet mop smell we had during dinner, but don't know if it is because it was hot out and the AC was not blasting high enough with all the grills going off, so it was kind of hot and sticky during dinner. I may come back next time to check out Happy Hour next time! Vibes are actually pretty cool. Service is great.

Even without a reservation, I was seated immediately, which was a great first impression. The service was excellent. Our server mentioned it was her first day, but you would never have guessed as she was attentive, warm, and handled everything beautifully. The food truly stood out. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The hibachi experience was just as enjoyable. The chef was entertaining, skilled, and added a fun, engaging touch to the meal. The restaurant itself is clean, inviting, and has a great atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy your time. I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great sushi or hibachi experience.

I would say that I love the new concept for privacy and convenience to have separate hibachi style…read moregrill tables throughout the restaurant than the traditional long table, where the entire restaurant has to share the table for communal dining, so that is a step up. I think that the customer service was excellent and the chef had charisma, personality, and should do stand up, he was a pleasure and a joy such a guy with rizz. My issue was the food itself as the rice was amazing but did not age well being taken back home for take out, and the chicken and salmon were not as flavorful as a homemade version I would had cooked so there was the blandness. I ended up having digestive issues and got sick for a day or two after eating from here which was disappointing, because the vibe is awesome in this spot and the positive energy is contagious. I felt so relaxed and joyous here. I think the food can be cooked better even though they are generous with excellent portion sizes. I think it is a strong contender for one of the best restaurants in the region if they step the food preparation up. I also did not like this sauce they provided, but it does have better customer service than the typical DMV spots which tend to struggle with the customer service, so they get an A with that making you feel welcomed and respected and not strictly transactional experience, very warm, nice, attentive, diligent, and hard working staff, so they have the bones here, so once they step up the actual food prep and quality then they will be 4 to 5 stars easily. That is all I got!
