First impression! The restaurant is cute, we got seated in the outside patio pretty quickly, I think it was because it was kinda chilly and gloomy so everyone wanted to be inside (which they did say was gonna be an hour wait). We got the empanada as a desert which was 5/5, the mollete was also really good for an appetizer. My overall reason for giving them a 3/5 is because it took over an hour for them to give us our food, we also weren't the only ones waiting, the surrounding tables were waiting as well. The server did his best to check on us and did a little contest to entertain the tables during the long wait in which he would hand out one $10 gift card for Starbucks, which ironically I won. I was very disappointed. My girlfriend and I came for our anniversary and the food was very over hyped. I got the loaded breakfast potato everything was great other than the potato tasting like it was made yesterday. I was here right at opening so there should be no reason for that. The food should have been as fresh as it possibly could be. Extremely overrated! Worst experience I have had at a restaurant in 5 years or more fast food included! We got there and had a reservation. They told us they could seat us at our reservation time but only outside. I thought we should've had the option to sit inside or outside. Outside was cold. So cold that people had blankets on. Getting past that my wife and I ordered. Her food came, mine didn't . The server said my chilaquiles were taking longer to cook. Well when they arrived they were cold from the first bite. Not to mention it was 13 minutes past when my wife's food arrived. So I watched her eat and she watched me eat. I don't like cold food and the flavor was ok so it was a terrible for me. The server told us 10 min before my wife got her food that she would move us inside in 10 minutes or less and never did so we stayed outside. I asked for the manager and she came to talk to me and looked like a 19 year old young lady. Other than apologize she didn't resolve anything or hold her server accountable. She asked if I wanted a free pastry. I declined , they brought the check and I placed my card with it. The server walked away and left it there so I assumed we had to take it to the register . The manager came to the register and asked if we wanted to sit at our table and wait for the server to come get it and I said no we have already been waiting 10 minutes. Needless to say I will never go back and didn't leave a tip . The pineapple agua fresca was really watered down. Made for a very bad date with my wife as we had to watch each other eat separately since my food arrived after my wife finished hers. If a .5/5 stars was an option I would've chosen that read more

No where on the phones, nor website, nor menu does it say no to go orders on weekends. Got turned away by the hostess today Sunday (10/05). To start this review off I want to say I've dined in a couple of times every experience being good with the server attending but this past friday the service that we received was disappointing. Our server was not being attentive while we saw him with other tables. To end the this review I did also find a hair in my plate, and he did grab my card self tipped 20 percent himself, tip wasn't the issue but the audacity he had to self tip while we planned to tip cash. First time here. Everyone we encountered that works here was so nice which is refreshing. Walking through the restaurant so many people acknowledged us. The food and drinks were good. Drinks took awhile on a Thursday at just before 12PM. We ordered drinks first and a bit later ordered food however the drinks came 2 minutes before our food was set down which was the only downside to our visit considering we wanted to sip on the bar beverages while waiting for the food not all at once. Came by for my Brothers birthday Breakfast. Wait isn't as bad as TOAST Restaurant in Temecula, but still about 40min. Restaurant feels pretty cramped inside, but outside wasn't so bad since there was shade and there was nice breeze. Loved the decorations, atmosphere nice, restrooms clean, and employees were friendly. Unfortunately food came out cold and without utensils for a while. Cold drinks while delicious, didn't have enough ice. Food was fresh and cooked spot on but flavor was definitely held back by the aforementioned issues. My first experience was mostly positive. My second experience at this restaurant was far from positive. I brought my entire family and was left embarrassed. First, the service, we had a reservation and were there on time but still had to wait around while the restaurant was visibly empty at the time. The waiter was really really struggling with basic tasks. We felt bad so we did not say anything but it was frustrating that no one would step in to help him. Every dish we ordered had something wrong with it. The huevos Mexicanos had a surplus of onion, I'm talking an excessive amount. I ordered the sweet mole-quiles, mine also had an ungodly amount of onions, both pickled and fresh. I also asked for chicken in mine, I found it in the bowl but it was a surprising amount, it looked like scraps. The flavors were good but the execution was not. My mother ordered the menudo, her giant bowl was all caldo/broth, she left hungry. Our drinks were all great, non alcoholic and alcoholic. But the food and service was not. There was a ton of, possible miscommunication? Somehow with inputting orders, it was embarrassing for us to keep having to ask for things to be corrected so we stopped asking after the first 3 things. We were all very clear on what we were ordering, nothing crazy about substituting or taking things out and yet nothing was correct. As far as the ambiance of this place, it's great. We liked the music, it's clean, it's lively, but the food and service was unfortunate. I'm not sure we will be coming back any time soon. read more

We went on a busy Sunday with a reservation. The food is good. We got queso fundido, chipotle chilaquiles and chilaquiles torta. I would love to come back but it was way too HOT. We overheard the hostess say AC is on but since the patio is open it feels hot and then our server said the AC was broken, so which is it? Regardless I would close the restaurant if the climate can't be controlled properly in 100 degree weather. On top of that there were flies all over our table constantly coming after our food. This is an update from my visit last weekend. I would like to thank the owner of Quiero Brunch, German, for personally reaching out to my family and I. He personally apologized to my family for the situation that happened...this meant alot to us because it just shows that he is invested in his business and just as important his customers. He invited is back to his restaurant. Our server was fantastic and very attentive, we were serve our drinks Mazapan Latte(cold brew, really good), cafe de olla, orange juice, and lemonade. Our server also brought us some Mini Conchas which were soft and delicious. Our food came out, we decided to try the Verde Quiles, the Poblano Quiles, Huevos Rancheros, Pancakes with Nutella, strawberries and bananas and eggs with protein...all were pretty good. Im a huge on chilaquiles verdes and the ones here were some of the best i've had. Overall, this experience was great and the team at Quiero Brunch did a great job. Thank you for the experience and we definitely look forward to going back...one last thing, if you are looking to try this place out, do it!
