Very happy with the overall experience and final product. The whole house fan is a must have for those of us who live close enough to the beach to have that cool late afternoon/early evening breeze. For us having something that had multiple speeds, efficiency, and low decibels was a must. We went with the stealth x pro. Could not be happier. This uses 100-400 watts versus our 5 ton central air system that uses 4-8k watts. Even has to turn off the fan early last evening because the house was too cold in the dead of July! Pushing the hot stale air In the attic has been a game changer for us. We live on the second story and have had an issue with heat for over three decades. Refused to take my word for the fact there was no rodent infestation in my attic, which he then confirmed there wasn't. I called these because I wanted to get some prices to compare. I already had a vendor all lined up and just wanted to get some extra quotes. I forget who answered the phone but he was amazing and ACTUALLY LISTENED to me. (Sorry this other vendor would talk the whole time thinking that was selling me) Anyway, the guy on the phone at QuietCool Guys was amazing and patient and he listened to my needs and helped me out. He also asked for my address and looked up the pictures of my house and said my vents would be enough for the fan setup. The other vendor did not do that! This guy did all the work he could on the phone to set his team up for install. AND AND AND his guys would be in the area the next day and could do the install. How could you not go with this team? The install team came out the next day and they were super cool and quick! They were done in about an hour. I must say I was initially skeptical about how much air the fan pulled in but holy moly it's amazing. I can cool down the upstairs in my house super fast and make it actually freezing if I want and the outside temp is right. Before we would leave the windows open and it would be still pretty darn hot even if it got down to 55 degrees outside. Now if it's in the 60s that badass fan can cool my upstairs down quick! We actually ran it the first night on high the whole night and my kids were popsicles when they got out of bed the next day. Incredible. In thinking about how to combat the hot air phenomenon on our two-story house, the idea of installing a whole house fan was a theoretical. Our master is upstairs, so a lot of the air gets trapped in our vaulted ceiling. After a referral from a close friend who greatly endorsed their service and product, I decided to take the plunge and schedule a consultation. They come by and take a look at your structure/attic and have the materials to install if you want to proceed. They give the quote up front, which is great so that you know what to expect. When our awesome team (Travis and Luke) swung by, they took a look at our attic. Unfortunately, the attic was fairly tight, but they offered a few strategies that might work for our scenario and brainstormed it with us. We ended up getting a smaller sized fan that fit, but would still cover our sq footage. The install took less than an hour and was clean (covered appropriate areas, wore shoe covers). They ran over the different maintenance aspects to expect and did a test run with us, showing us how to optimize the use. That first night, we used it... and my wife was SO impressed because it did the job of our prior system, yet in such a more energy efficient manner, and we can keep it running on low all night to ensure we stay cool. They QuietCool Guys have got a well-oiled machine going from quote to installation. When I called, I offered my address and they used google images to verify attic ventilation and get a feel for the house. We talked various units and pricing, and selected one. Their pricing is all-inclusive: the unit, install, taxes, etc. so NO HIDDEN FEES! In between quote and install, they follow up with emails and you'll eventually get a text from your installer verifying your time slot. They showed up on-time. The only hiccup was that my attic was slightly too small for the fan I wanted, so we had to downgrade. The installation guys left to pick up the other fan, returned quickly, and had it going quickly. Even though the unit is smaller, it's still plenty powerful and very quiet. They teach you how to use your wireless remote, and clean up after themselves. Hire them. :) read more

I purchased the stealth 7.0 from QuietCool. The installers came out and had the hole cut in my ceiling for the air intake, the fan installed in my attic, and the electrical on/off switch hardwired and ready to go in just about two hours. Unfortunately, the fan I bought was complicated and wasn't a good fit for my house. We have had our fan installed a little over a week and what a difference in our home. In the early evening we put the fan on exhausting the cool air inside our home. So far, we can drop the temp to 71 degrees which is very comfortable. When we go to bed, we open the bedroom windows 4 inches and the unit cools off the bedroom. Just an update - when we use this to forcibly cool the entire house at night into the early morning - the interior drops into the 60's and holds all through the day. As such we have basically turned off our HVAC system and haven't used it in three weeks. After the massive heat wave (which did require the HVAC as it remained in the high 80's all night - meaning can't use the whole house fan) - we have saved at least $300 in electricity just in three weeks. At this rate the whole house fan will pay for itself in just a few months. Again this won't save you from a massive 110° heat wave where it never cools down at night - but aside from that it really does help you eliminate the need for normal HVAC use. There is a learning process and some work involved - you've got to open some windows at night and close them in the morning - but it pays for itself. Cannot recommend this upgrade enough. read more

After doing months of research, I knew I wanted to install a QuietCool in my home, but didn't know who to go with. As always this company is amazing to work with. We purchased the whole house fan along with the attic fan that works with a phone app. My phone stopped working so I got a new one. Now that it was getting hot I went on the app to lower the temperature so it would come on. That is when I realized that I was having problems getting the unit to pair with my phone. I gave them a call to see if they could help me out and as alway they were so accommodating they offered to send someone out to help me.
